Beautiful job. Always happy to watch you work. I admire your patience and ambition with each piece. Then again, I'd be happy enough watching you create whatever you wanted to create - be it an outhouse or a mountain.

Hello, I've been really inspired by your content because it reminds me of wanting to build dioramas when I was younger. I am planning on building my own diorama loosely based on your Alaskan Wilderness diorama. Because I am just trying out making dioramas I don't want to spend a huge amount of money or buy lots of an item that I may not use in the future. One of my main challenges is finding a resin I could use for deeper casts that I don't have to purchase in bulk. Do you know any products that I could use? Thanks so much. :)
The real reason we haven't seen a video in a while is because it took you this long to get the shot of the paint landing in the airbrush cup, isn't it?
It doesn't matter who you are - being able to watch someone create something from nothing in detailed steps is inspiring, relaxing and satisfying. Thanks for another impressive build Luke.
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but it's great to see you upload. I for one was getting worried that covid was impacting on you. Wish you luck and again, I wish I was a tenth as talented
I don't even do modeling and I couldn't wait for your next video. Watching a master at work bringing new worlds to life is the pinnacle of entertainment for me. Good to see you back dude!
I greatly admire your work and would you be able to reproduce the map of Red dead redemption 2 in its entirety or part of the map (desert, mountain, plains, a large city) ?
I just worked 7 days straight (10-12 hour days). I am exhausted, and can barely keep my eyes open.. Wha - A new Luke Towan video? Half an hour long? Should I wait? No. Let what must be done, be done... Always worth it! I also love the community shout-outs. Well done, Sir. Well done... :)

Amazing video as always Luke! Nice work! For those like me wondering what is the channel he recommends at the end here's a link to the Kathy Milliatt channel: ruclips.net/channel/UCK-tzXpJ-rgXugc-eJfCtxg I understood Kathy Miller and couldn't find anything LOL
The timing of this video is perfect! Not long ago I was searching for cave dioramas and didn't find what I wanted. This video is exactly what I was looking for and I am so happy you made it! I hope one day you make an ancient Egyptian tomb diorama, similar to the mineshaft one. I think it would look amazing in your style.
For some reason I really want to make a diorama for some sort of exotic animal Like a tarantula vivarium but a down town metropolis so as time goes on it gets more apocalyptic
Absolutely beautiful! My one opinion is the cotton mist at the bottom always sort of ruins these for me and makes it look a little bit fake/cheap. I mean this in the best possible way.
turning the diorama upside down to glue the stalagmites? -no turning the diorama upside down to smooth in the stalagmites -yes use water waves to built up the water at the waterfall -no use water ripples and let them dry but they're still not good? -yes xD
Luke, this is one of your best yet!! As an Indiana Caver, this hits home for me, as we have some caves that are like this, waterfalls at the entrance and such! Thank you for this! I've not missed an episode! I've shared your video in some of my caving Facebook pages.
You're the gold standard Luke! I appreciate the attention to detail and bits of humor. I create theme park models for the industry and collectors and my techniques have improved greatly thanks to your channel.
So nice of you to give Kathy a call out! What a great modeler she is! I'm also a fan of Marklin of Sweden - perhaps he could get the same treatment! In fact, he just recently did some sea spray with some aquarium filter which is a product that I think surpasses the pillow policy fibre!
The cave reminds me of when I worked at a haunted house and played a dying miner, I was in a dark cave like that for upwards of 8 hours until almost 2 in the morning sometimes, eventually you stop acting exhausted and just become exhausted. 10/10 very immersive
Its come to the point where I don't think its a case of 'How can he top that', because when your already at perfection, theres really no way to go higher, no 'next level'. However, I now think to myself 'Fantastic! I wonder what hes going to model next'. Whatever it is, we all know one thing .... its going to be friggin *EPIC!*

"Why hasn't Luke posted a new video?"
"So anyway, I made over 100 stalagmites and then glued them in place to make this as realistic as possible."
You wait, the next one will have little fish swimming in the water and driftwood gloating in the river. Luke’s dioramas really are next level
These dead leaves and bark are to simulate dead leaves and bark, this is my favorite line of this video!
"Mmm yes. The floor is made of floor" XD
after all the years of modeling, Lukes back yard has to be full of random holes from harvesting dirt, lol
Ya 😂😂😂
I'm glad I'm not the only one that's thought this 😂
You think he has a backyard left after removing all that gravel
He now has a model of a garden where his garden used to be

I don't have the money or space (or skill, tbh) so this is a great way of living vicariously!
I have built one diorama that fit into a wide wine glass, 5 yrs ago. That’s it but I watch Kathy, Luke, Mile High and a few others religiously.

Well not nothing. Out of a heap of stuff and with a lot of skill. But agree, an amazing transformation.
When the production value is this big, being less than 30 minutes is actually a criminal offense. You're fined with making more.
