Every time your song was played beside my bed,I would make an improvement. Lost deep in a coma, your music would reach me,my brain hearing this beautiful music and giving me the will to live. I thank you for your wonderful music,it helped to save my life.Thank You.
For someone who went through a tough life at younger ages to the woman she had become now I have nothing but respect and admiration for her, A living legend indeed. Bless her
Beautiful lady who gives out so much hope. She set up a homeless shelter in NY for youth and spoke to Congress about investing in youth. She is still performing at 70.
The best interviews with Cyndi is when the person interviewing just lets Cyndi go n out comes stuff u never even knew about her. Good Job, Frank Buckley!
Cyndi is unbelievably talented. Cyndi you are so right when you said that people who are meant to get the message in 'Girl's just Wanna have fun' hear it. It's incredibly empowering to women not just in the past but now and it still will in the future as well. It crosses generations as it has many meanings at different levels. It's not often that an artist truly stays relevant in any time/generation. Thank you Cyndi, you are a beautiful person. Xx
Man I love her energy and personality so much. 80s music is my favorite and Cyndi has a special place in my heart with all her incredible music. After hearing her speak on her live We Are The World performance, I became infatuated with her personality. Such a sweet quirky human being
@@francoisbessing I agree if we were all the same it would be boring. I hope all is well with you and your loved ones.
YES!!! I love 😘 love Cyndi 🥰 I fell in Love with her back in '83 when she was on Johnny Carson!!! I've seen her in concert prob at least 20 times.. She is a real genuine Artist/Singer, perfectionist...not merely a performer. I have met her personally 2 times in my life and I am grateful for her and the music. Cyndi got me through so much... especially Blue Angel 'I'm going to be strong'💪🥰
I saw her concert with At last songs in Montreal, i was first row , her voice so strong and viceral raw emotion out of a so petite women ! i was thrilled !!
Cyndi, WOW! I do mean WOW! I can really relate to what she has to say . If you have followed her, and listened to her through the years you can hear the most positive wisdom she has to share with people .She's a PRINCESS My mother would love her as much as I do.
God bless this wonderful woman. No one handed her anything. All she and many others need. A helping hand to get back on track.I wonder how many with great potential never realized fell by the wayside? Tragic how most turn a cold shoulder to the homeless and poor.
My mom taught me about rock bands? AC/DC Black Sabbath Dio and many more. So Cyndi? Was definitely in my life growing up. I’m 23. And it’s been my dream since I was a kid to be in a band either singer (then I found out I can’t sing) or guitar (anyone can learn it, it just takes time) like all my heroes. My sisters taught me about Cyndi. And I love her voice. And how empowering she is to younger women and girls. We need more artists like her. I hope to be one but as a guitarist.
Thanks to Portrait/Epic Records for allowing Cyndi to be the woman of grace, who wanted to have fun and show her true colors with a change of heart ❤️❤️🎼🎤
Time after time is my favorite. What a classic, I still have it on my phone. I'm was born in 1993, after many years the song was released but, I can also relate to the song. That's how powerful the song is.

Tgis is a great life story ,I was in children's unit from age of 13 and left at 16 and left to fend for myself which I did had no option too ,but yeah my life at 35yr is good now at the moment ,I just wish I done more but people in my younger years held me back but hey no life goes on ,stay safe people
Okay. I have to say this. As much love and respect I have for her, she sure is milking the whole psoriasis thing. I have plaque psoriasis. I have it on my face even. It does not stop me in any way. Hers isnt even visible. I'm married, raised my kids, gainfully employed, middle aged and happy. Yeah, it messes with your self esteem some. Looking in the mirror sucks at times but geez Cyndi, its just psoriasis. Millions have it. It's not a big deal.
I wouldn't "interview" Cyndi.. i'd just let her talk, and i'd just enjoy listening to her stories. Never knew just how sexy she really is all these years of knowing her, but that must be the reason i've always liked her and her music :)
dunno if you're going to read this but find a book called "natural healing" go to the section on skin problems, my girlfriend had it, and it would consume her entire arm on occasion.. I read the book and it mentioned sulphur tabs, I got them at the health food store, tiny pellets in a small glass vials like 20 of them, she took them all like the book says, and like the book says you have to take them routinely you cannot stop or not take the entire dose or it can mess it up and then they wont do any good.. not kidding during the one month she was taking the sulphur tabs she got a tiny patch on her elbow, then after that it never showed up again in teh 5 years I was still with her.. I didn't know much about psoriasis back then, in fact she was the first person i ever saw it on and it didn't look that bad, just a rash that dried out and got funky, I was thinking man why don't you see a doctor and she said she had since she was like 7, over 25 years and she said there was no cure, me being a natural healer thought that was jive, so I looked into my book to see what teas and what not to drink, teas can cure a lot, no jokes.. so wh8ile reading I read about the sulphur which the book said had great results, I went to a natural store in the city and they had em, the same ones they suggested, while there I got a bunch of the teas they suggested as well so for that month we drank the teas like crazy and she did the tablets, we always had a pot of tea going on the wood stove and you'd just dip into it and get a cup, lil honey and drink it down.. a pot and we tossed the bulk tea inraw, no filters or bags, nothing, when the tea gets hot and soaked it sinks so you can skim it right off the top, keep adding water and tea.. she was skeptical until when it came back around week 3 as it usually did right on time but it came and went quickly like in 3 days and it was a very small patch on her elbow, at that point she knew it at least minimized it and made it heal quicker.. the book goes into why the sulphur works the chemistry behind it I've forgotten at this point this was back in the early 90's.. get the book, read it, consider what it does and drink the teas!
I am a limo driver I drove her around town in LA for hours. She was a very nice lady

I always liked her, but I never knew Cyndi Lauper was such a formidable person, and how much she helps the less fortunate. I like her even more now.
I just watched her 60 Minutes Australia interview and in tears…. This woman’s heart is even bigger than her personality. 💖
Right
i knew nothing about her background, but i always loved her music and the messages she tried to pass in her songs. i got one or two!

I don't have anything against Madonna, but I think Cindy is aging much better than her.
Madonna is the Queen of Pop

Yeah, the whole interview is great.. But if you’re here to hear about girls just wanna have fun, that starts at 14:48
You’re welcome 😊
Thank you kindly.
Video got a dislike for its clickbait crap that uses a title to drag people into a 22 and a half minute video.
Cheers 😊
