KENWOOD (TRIO) model R-300 / 1970s shortwave receiver

Full band scan 170 kHz ~ 30 MHz.
The video will be longer because the entire band is scanned without being cut.
Since this is a regularly used receiver, the internal adjustments are in almost perfect condition.
My buddy usually stays active on the bookshelf, but this time I moved it to a different location and made a video of it.

Brilliant old radio. had one back in the early 90s. the second hand shop near me didn't know what they had. so sold it to me very cheap.
i sold it 3-4 years later for a very good profit. i had bought R2000 buy then. i still have an even older model. the Kenwood QR-666 Communications Receiver, again from the same shop.
that needs setting up to be useable.

I own one, pretty good unit, I bought the newer R-1000 model, it is a bit more modern and also works well.

I'm glad you watched the video.
R-1000 has very good performance.
Although easy to operate, he is one of the few receivers designed with the user in mind.
It would be nice if there was an antenna that would fit the R-1000, but I think finding one is part of the fun.

こんにちは、いつも新しい動画を楽しませていただいています。さて、動画を見ていて気づいたのですがBFOのノブの取付が180度回っているように思います(LSB側回しきりの9時の方向でBFOのバリコンが全部入るのが標準だと思います)

すみません、先のコメント付けたときはスマホで少し飛ばしながら見ていたのですが、大きい画面で見直したらBFOの動作は正常なようです。お騒がせしました。
