Apart from fee structure and location, there's not a single parameter on which TISS is better than XLRI. It's definitely a close competitor and 2nd to only XLRI. There are many companies like Microsoft, McKinsey, etc that regularly recruit in HR from XLRI but don't visit TISS. There's nothing against TISS but realistically it's 2nd best.
