With some songs, you have to look up the lyrics to get what they're singing. With Tooth Fairy, you have to spend a few hours learning about global economics to get what they're singing. Love it :)

This is mocking the hell outta Stratovaruis. First of all, it captured the overall style of Stratovaruis sound (specifically Episode through to Infinite albums period), they played around with the intermissions/solos in Stratovaruis manner (if you curious you could, for instance, check out their "Will the sun rise?" or "Twilight symphony" solo section with the borrowings from Bach and keyboard-guitar solo battle, but I love how Nanowar rised it to the the whole new level of ridiculous), captured Stratovaruis style of vocal lines building pretty well and even put in Stratovaruis keyboard player into the jumping edits in the solo section.
I'm a stratovarius fan and that's blew my mind!

Ah yeah, I still remember having just recently discovered Nanowar (oS), and then stumbling on this song, which floored me even MORE (which I didn't think was possible) because some years ago I got deep enough into economics after the 2008 crisis to understand all of these references !

The sounds remind me of Stratovarius.
This song seems to be a purposeful parody of the 90’s Stratovarius/Sonata Arctica style. Barbie- MILF princess of the twilight is an obvious Rhapsody of fire parody. Armpits of immortals and Hail to Lichtenstein obviously mock Manowar. Quest for Carrfour obviously mocks Blind Guardian’s style and there’s a frighteningly good vocal impersonation of Hansi’s voice. And then I noticed that she was a gargoyle - typical generic 80’s metal ballad… Still haven’t heard a good Helloween or Gamma Ray parody but I guess they will put some effort there at some point
Generally they are doing lyrical parodies of the style’s topics, or incorporate some sociopolitical satire, or simply relatable things from the everyday life, like the dandruff song. The thing is that lyrically they are doing parodies, related or not related to the given artist’s song or style but musically are a 100% tribute to the euro power metal, so they are an enjoyable band to listen to on a multitude of levels.
