- Arne Slot said in his pre match interview vs Bologna in the Champions League on Wednesday evening that there was 15 minutes of mediocrity vs Wolves at the weekend where Liverpool won 2-1 in the Premier League.
Slot said that the standard at Liverpool have to remain super high and that each and every player must stand up and take account of moments of mediocrity and crap performance and make sure it never happens again.

Update on Chiesa and Jota injury
Chiesa was ok but turned up to training yesterday with issues so he cannot play tonight and is a maybe for Saturday whereas Jota couldnt train before yesterday but did a full session, so he is available for tonight. YNWA

LFJ, I have a question for you- if Szobo continues at his current level where he presses well but finds it hard to get open and hit progressive passes consistently, do you think we should try to move for another 10? I have been following Xavi Simons and I think he would be perfect at his current stage of development for Liverpool. Ngl I don’t think Wirtz or Musiala are in the cards for us, so Simons could fly under the radar and I think his abilities, tactical intelligence, and now pressing ability under Red Bull would be the perfect glue to move our attack through

Hi Si, like your content, but is this click bait? I mean, if he didn’t accept mediocrity, trust me, he would have removed Salah from the last 3 matches sooner rather than keeping him on 90 mins because he’s been absolute dog toffee for a few matches now and Slots not strong enough to pull him off. Don’t get carried away, take your time to judge him after 6-12 months. It was easy for him to take off Quansah on MD 1, because he’s a junior. Has he got the balls to pull Salah off early when he’s playing shite? Well we will see. I don’t think he has right now.
