I read somewhere Chiesa was injured for this match so that is why he wasn't there or on the bench. you know what, I'm gonna say it, I want to win that Arsenal game, even if we have to sacrifice some of the others before or after it. You didn't mention szoboszlai.. without him, Liverpool will definately struggle offensively and defensively.. szoboszlai is a machine who does a lot of pressing, covers all the ground and still supports up and down in the pitch .. he is massively underrated and his contributions always goes unnoticed..
Yeah, I don't think a lot of people demanding that Macca be a 10 realize that our tactics massively rely on Dom's athleticism and speed, and his exceptional pressing. He wins his duels (5/7 last night), covers huge amounts of ground and he is a technical player with an insane shooting technique. Granted, he has been showing like 70% of his talent on the pitch so far, but there's so much potential in him. And I trust that Arne will coach him into a beast of a 10 that will not only be a pressing machine but a creative and shooting threat as well. And he's only 23, people...
Because Szobo improved on his defensive duties.
Last season, Szobo struggled with playing in the EPL and actually trackbacking and help out defensively. Under Klopp, Szobo who never defend much in RBL and RBS before.....under Klopp and now Arne...he got into the gym to bulk up and strengthen his core muscle....because he is defending more.

Nah, this team based on results alone and not style of play is reminding me more of the 1987-1988 team and that team was the best team I had seen since the 1978-1979 team except a lot better, it's early days yet to even start thinking could this team be even better than the 1987-1988 Better than the Brazilians team.

the difference between konate & virgil and saliba and gabriel is the protection they have in front of them. arsenal is a better defensive unit. but i think thge centre back pairing in liverpool are better
