Excellent Mike. One piece at a time and it will be a nice running little car. With all your time off now it's good to see you're busy with a project... or 8.
Just bought a 2000 si. Looked underneath it and this piece on my car has nearly evaporated, assuming just snow rust... But that was really the only component on the undercarriage which was that rusted.
hey mike! I remember looking at a civic for a buyer...the rear bumper was rusted out! among other things I pointed out, I thought the seller was going to slam me in the driveway!!! the thing is if they were hit from the rear, theres nothing there... and people are in the back seat??
Always nice when they don’t fight you! Good stuff Mike!
Thanks Dave.

Great video!!! My 1999 civic just failed PA State inspection due rotted rear bumper. I think I’m gonna try to attempt this myself. Thanks!!!!
TY!
It’s always a good thing when parts come off easily. Glad it wasn’t a struggle! Have a good one Mike! 😀
I just am not used to that happening around here!
Love your vids appreciate them!! Good stuff

And sad part is the chinesium bumper i ordered is probably not as strong as this rusted one!
the old adage you get what you pay for....well most of the time anyways...but all in all you did the right thing!
I know...but you look at the oem and the car value...I would do the same as you mike
