Smokey chose a good platform. The almighty Plymouth Horizon. I put 932,000 miles on one. 540,000 on the original engine. 392,000 on the second engine. It still ran great when I sold it at 932,000 miles. I was inspired when I met Irv Gordon.
Mid 80s American cars were a terrible mix of metric and SAE. I've had an 85 Mustang and 87 Camaro that both drove me CRAZY with the mix of metric/SAE. Great video.
