A very surfy, bluesy, greeny, springy video. The pedal sounds great. Nicely done Henning!
I like the deeper editing. Nice.
Better “closer to real” than the spring on the Strymon Big Sky. But even the best digital simulations sound digital. The difference is that a real spring sounds a bit different every time you hit your strings in an identical way, while digital simulations sound exactly the same every time.
A real spring tank reacts to the room, the speaker, the band jumping around on stage, passing subway trains, etc; then there is the fact that each note continues to vibrate long after a human ear can't hear it colouring successive notes. No digital emulation can capture all of that real world physicality.
On the other hand solid state reverb is so much more reliable and better behaved.
Leslie only hiding in the lush verb Color match is always important keep a color wheel close by when creating tones I like purple sounds 👍🏽 contrasted with yellow notes 😂
She keeps a straight strict face until Harry plays surf and then smiles the whole time he's playing.
Ach du meine Güte, dieser Nachhall ist so was von toll!!!
Wow. I thought this was going to be another boring spring reverb pedal review, but heck no this pedal is awesome. With the editor this thing flies. Maybe better in my opinion than Chase Bliss stuff in that changing the parameters is less confusing but has to be done with the usb instead of the tiny mouse piano. Also, three presets instead of two unless you're doing midi. Oh well, this thing is definitely cool. Thanks for the demo and thank Leslie and Harry too. Sounds are great!!!
Colour matching also matters in Destiny 2!
that game is boring once you finish campaign
Are you Syd Barrett?
Mmmmmm drippy, springy goodness......It has an editor ?
It is -7 C here in Niagara Falls, Canada. Where you are ? Lie to me. Tell me it is warm and cozy.
Nuheheh, thanks for the henning... 😂😂
nuhehe, jup .. 😂😂😂😂
fml.. hahah
About to learn that surfy stuff you played. Was great :)
147bpm of sore wrist and shoulder and I can finally do it lol
@@justinbouchard hahah! nice work man ;)
Off topic here, but... If you could have only one of the three following guitars, which one would you choose?
Harley Benton SC-550 Pardise, Fusion II HSH or Fusion II HH.
the former unless you want to pure single coil sound and other tonal options from the latter, but if i got the Harley Benton SC-550 Pardise i would send it to a luthier to rewire it and add a Series/Parallel switch to each of the volume knobs for the humbuckers (Push/Pull) and see if the humbucker's volume wiring is inpedent of each other (meaning you can change volume of either humbucker without one affecting the other)
sc550
The best of both worlds... SC-550 with stainless steel frets, coil splitting,... Wait, you already built one of those! Now get HB/Thomann to build the SC-550 Plus model!
Hennings long answer would be sc-550
Wow! With the Fusion II’s Double humbuckers with coil splitting, plus another single coil, stainless steel frets, roasted maple neck, 24 frets... I’m surprised everyone would opt for the SC550! Thanks for the responses!!!
Ya know Henning I never see Leslie smile when you play guitar. 🤨 lol Thanks Gang
Henning you need to say, Le Please and Le a Thankyou to Leslie. I am sure your mother taught you that. Sounds good
Why only 2k views?
...Henning don't surf ?!?? 😨🌊🌴🎸
Now I am torn. Dual Ventris, or True Spring, or Dark World, or Oceans 11? I NEED A SHOOTOUT VIDEO OR A RECOMMENDATION!!!
depends on what you need
@@EytschPi42 - From Dick Dale drip to Brian Setzer slapback to that Bakersfield honk made popular by Don Rich and Pete Anderson. I could also use a good tremelo recommendation kind sir, thanks!
@@sassycat have both ventris and the true spring (i also did the logo for the true spring) - the true spring algo is actually updated from the ventris one and has 3 tremolo types built in - for setzer / rich - your clearly going after spring and tank sounds - the ventris will get you there but the true spring would probably be best - however the ventris does so many other sounds you have to balance that off - just my 2 cents - hope it helps :)
@@AmmoniteII - thanks so much for the info! Leaning towards the True Spring because I believe it will do everything I want, but the sonic pallette of the Ventris! Nice job on the logo too, I might have to get one of their tee shirts. 🤘😎👍
