      Forgive my obnoxious entry into this comment thread via my unsolicited but well intentioned suggestion but I can't resist: Please don't waste your money on any anti-aging skincare products in Japan. In my view that's not the country for heavy lifting, impactful retinol formulations and other excellent targeted skincare serums. Western formulations ARE better when it comes to non Far East Asian skin (ignore me if you are from FEA of course). Even paracetamol headache tablets are legally only around 200 or 300mg. Too much red tape, legal restrictions and other cultural issues interfere with the power, efficacy (and thus product development obvs). I'm the same as you though-- hoarding as much money as I can so I can fill two suitcases with excellent home, body and facecare items on my next trip to Japan. I love hearing other people's passionate recommendations and ALWAYS add them to my shopping list. I've spent over a decade in the beauty industry and there's so much industry info to share. Australia has the best sunscreens, better than Korea and Japan. Good luck finding wonderful things on YOUR next trip. 👍🗾😊

    A little advice from a Japanese 👍 When using Senka facial cleanser, the correct way is to make a thick foam using a net or something, and then wash gently with that foam! Give it a try!

    The eye cream at 11:36 is by a brand called Meishoku 明色. The W is how they say double in that it helps with both elasticity and shine! The ingredient to help with the eye brightening is placenta in that one. Hope that helps :)

    Hi ❤
    I love your review videos
    Specially on japanese products.
    I live in Japan and I love watching 'Haul videos ' ❤
    By the way the "W"
    Is not a brand name of the eyecream whitening. The brand is I think PURASENHUWAITA or PLACENWHITER .
    AND THE "W" means double (double U )
    So it means it has double purpose or double effect on your face.
    Looking forward for moref videos ❤

    What about if you're Black, Brown or other person if color?? Are these products effective for women of color- given you are into "whitening" and maybe it's about removing blemishes. Just asking. Curious

    • @buildyourmoxie
      @buildyourmoxie  2 месяца назад +3

      Hi hi!! All the products I mentioned are good for all skin tones and types!! 🤩They all moisturize and make skin so soft. Vitamin C from my research says it is okay to use as long as it has moisturizing properties with it, which this one I showed has. The rice masks, oil cleanser, face wash, and rice paste are all good too! These help moisturize and make dull skin more lively! Same with the hair stuff I mentioned!
      The only one I am not too sure on is the blue tube eye cream one where it says “whitening”. Cuz sometimes it could just mean brightening too. The goal for that one is to make dark bags less dark! But just in case I would do the other two eye creams which are for sure good for all skin tones and types!
      As far as it goes with retinol products, usually diluted retinol like the ones you can buy at stores are okay to use as long as it has a lot of moisturizing properties which the one I showed has! What has been said for darker skin is to be more weary of strong prescription strength retinol (like Retin-A) but you need a doctor’s prescription if you want the strong stuff so I wouldn’t worry about that:)

    I hear rousing elegiac classical music in my head the second I enter Japanese drugstores. It then softens to gentle elevator muzak and I get lost in my happy place. Thank you so much for this energising, motivating upload; I return to Japan later this year and am looking forward to making the most of my generous baggage allowance. The British pound is currently very strong so thank you for including prices on the screen. So many videos overlook this critically important detail and I have no idea why. Laziness? Your effort was not overlooked by me, thank you for including prices. I'm so excited now, adding your suggestions to my already long shopping list. 👍👍

    Thank you:-)

    • @buildyourmoxie
      @buildyourmoxie  6 дней назад +2

      @@anned9696 hello!! Moisturizing is important! And sunscreen! :)
      Most skin aging happens from sun damage and not keeping skin hydrated. So if you can cover those two first then that would be key.
      Then for bonuses you can try some “actives” like vitamin C for brightening. Or some retinols for skin cell turnover. Those tend to be big ones. If you are going to Japan, the face care i showed would be wonderful and then get the vitamin C!
