Hello! I did bubbles and bites on Valiant Lady a few weeks ago. Nothing was set out early. The champagne and chicken was brought out in "sections" so the pacing was good. I went by myself but had a very outgoing table so we were all instant friends enjoying the event together. It was one of my favorite things of my voyage! Our event was lead by sommelier from Peru, sadly i dont recall his name. He was wonderful and a tip he gave was another great pairing for champagne is pizza because of the cheese!
Oh really? Well that sounds a lot more organised than ours then haha. All the more reason to give it another go then I suppose! Will definitely try the pizza tip! Hope you enjoyed the video :)

Was there a discernible difference among the champagnes?
Hi Susan. Yes we thought there was. The Veuve is very smooth, almost buttery/creamy, the Dom is more earthy, and the Moët is more crisp. Having said that…, they still all taste like champagne 😂.

The glasses are from IKEA (shock!!!), a couple of years ago. Not sure if they’re still stocking them, or if the stock is the same each side of the pond though 🧐.

We can’t get passed the fact the champagne was served in what we would describe as a standard ‘Wine Glass’ 😂

😂😂 I know. Apparently it’s so you can fit your nose in the glass to help with the tasting, but it does feel so wrong!
@@TheDoddolds it’s a fair point but the experience will feel like I’ve gone round to a friends with a beautiful bottle of champagne and she’s only got wine glasses and I want to leave. 😂😂
