We were on the liberty of the seas last year. We had a burial at sea ceremony for my wife, who passed away unexpectedly. The captain and crew treated us with so much respect and made sure that the ceremony went off perfectly. We were given a certificate, signed by the captain that gave the exact coordinates of where the ceremony took place. One of these days I fully intend on joining her right off the coast of Cozumel.
My family was on the Liberty about 4 years ago. My steward was a grumpy man, and for some reason, my steward changed to another guy. Even this guy was a grumpy guy, and I didn't want my vacation to sour, so I had to give him a tip. He started to have a smile on his face. Later, I found out the first steward went to different jobs on the cruise.
I love watching your videos. I'm from Maryland and that is NOT a Maryland crab cake! Not even in the ballpark. I've been on 2 Royal cruises in the last year and even though they are not... I repeat NOT Maryland style crab cakes, they are still yummy.
Liberty is still a beautiful ship and 3 day cruises are worth it for my husband and I as we live in Florida and can hop on at the last minute. :) Depends on the person.

Thank you Josh for sharing. I thought Royal stopped having parades? So, did the parades come back or are they only on older ships?
Yes I believe the recently made a comeback!
The three days cruises are not worth it and the old ships do not pass the vibe check.
