Thanks for watching!
I think this is the least Bob has ever spoken in an interview. Lol. Stephanie may be an introvert but the educator takes over. Happy for you Stephanie.
She seems very upbeat and wanting to teach!!
Annette Foumier, it was so cute watching them. He just stood and nodded at her. I tried to stay out of the shot but they caught me in a very brief frame. lol
annette fournier bob is a great interviewer. He talks as little as possible. Letting the person talk makes for the best content.
Great conversation. As a 24 year retired army guy who happens to be a conservative, I say "Live and Let Live!" Stephanie, proud of you and thanks for sharing a snapshot of your life with us......Scouts Out!!!!
richard martarano open minded and tolerant people come from all walks and both sides of the isle. Self important pain in the ass close minded intolerant fools who think what they think matters belong to all walks of life and both sides of the isle.
Mark Nichols a bit confused about what you tried to say....
richard martarano obviously mark thinks what he thinks matters
I read through the comments just to see the response of the community to Stephanie's situation. Most of the people seem to be civil, but there are a lot of judgemental replies. I just don't understand why people are bothered by decisions that don't effect them in any possible way. Just live and let live, there's no reason to be cruel. On a separate note, if your thinking about joining the military, I would suggest reading "war is a racket" by Smedley Butler who was the most decorated marine in history, he also stopped a coup attempt on president Roosevelt"s life orchestrated by the oligarchic business class elite. The U.S military is by far, the biggest polluter, and destructive force to the environment.
Thank you for the supportive words.
real eyes realize real lies oh ok.
@AMSLPI
How does one's life choice directly effect [opposite of affect] another's daily life? My cousin is a homosexual and it doesn't bother me at all. Its her life and her's to live.
I’m in the same boat disabled female vet, sick of living in the city and want to wander. I get disability and would rather be on the road and see this beautiful country before I die
Thank you for your service Stephanie!
welcome
@@TravelingTransgender
I noticed that you have a nervous tick [leg movements] and you talk a little fast. Hope that you don't suffer from TBI and/or PTSD. Thanks for your service!
I have watched a lot of Bob’s videos, and what I love most about them is the positive comments on ALL of them, to me, ur like a reflection of Bob, no one is treated less than, I’m happy to be here, apart of the RUclips Tribe. Thank u Bob for bringing us all together, there and here! And Stephanie, thank u for ur service!!! U r one smart cookie, wish I could be as smart as u
Thank you Bob for being so open minded and for saying EVERYONE is WELCOME!
ApacheBob41 Ewwwwww......closed minded aren't we?
JohnnySixString I talk to Jesus all the time. Is that a problem or a plus?
Thanks for the kind words Edith.
Hmm, I guess I like my “fantasy land”, where people respect each other and treat one another with kindness. Isn’t that what Jesus would want us to do? It’s not easy being “different”. This gal has served our country honorably and she is displaying enormous courage right this minute opening her life publicly the way she is. Courage under fire!
ApacheBob41. You are the one that needs to read. There is clear un-indoctrinated information about infants born with multiple genitalia, infants, children, youths, and adults having uncommon levels of hormones which can result in brain and body changes, the list goes on and on. Get up to speed before you preach to ppl that are open to learning and being kind and accepting of others.
What a sweet, beautiful lady she is. I'm so glad she shared her story with you, and you shared it with us!
Great interview with a great person.
Thanks
Bob one of the best interviews you have done! Well done Sir!............ATB!
I think I'm in love! As a member of the LGBT community in rural Appalachia, I'm encouraged to hear of someone in the VA Hospital system AND the nomadic community promoting safety and acceptance of our lifestyle too! Whatever personal views, thank you so much for yet again being such a positive force for good Mr. Bob!
Thanks for the kind words. :-)
Stephanie is awesome!!!
thank you
I'm trans too and its funny cause I was looking through these by coincidence to see if anybody else wants to live in a runaway camper. But honestly, than you for your service and inspiration
Stephanie seems like a lovely person. I wish her nothing but the best in her nomadic life.
Stephanie is the bravest of the brave.
AN INTROVERT??!?!?!? If she were any LESS of an introvert she would be walking around NAKED!!!!
hahah thank you I'm working on it,...not the naked part.
LOL Sandra. She is, i promise. You can be an introvert and still be able to share your passion and knowledge. Bob Wells considers himself a huge introvert and yet he opened the door for us all to learn.
Yes, I am a bit of an introvert myself. I deal with depression, anxiety and stress issues. Plus exhaustion. I like people, I really do. I like talking to folks. But Sulis Minerva, when I get tired, or have pain, YIKES!!! I keep away from folks for their own protection. It seems I have a limit!
Seriously, I think you are a superhero. The work you do will save lives. Go Girl!!!
I teach and have to speak in public. I've worked at that. Many actors are also introverts! We can be public personas but then need quiet away from people time. We are recharged by alone time... while extroverts are recharged by groups. Both can have public personas.
right there with you Sandra, but i am an extrovert.
What a great attitude, lifestyle, work ethic, transgender role model! Wow!
Best of luck to you Stephanie. Enjoyed your interview.
What a great story Bob.She seems so happy.I need to thank her for her service. You are a inspiration to all of us Bob.Be safe my friend.
Finally Bob someone you do not have to prompt she is so smart and knowledgeable about her rig you only got maybe 2 questions in 🙃
cool video, great person that Stephanie, wish the best to her !
thanks
Love you, Stephanie! Always find a way to share yourself with the world - it’d be a waste if you didn’t!! Xox Jessica from N.C.
She is fantastic! Putting her skills which are awesome to use in the community in a practical and extremely useful way ! Right on ! Needed survival on the road 🙌🖤
Thank you for your service Stephanie ! Stephanie really brought it home about traveling with just the necessities. Whether that was her intent or not, it really has me thinking that I don't need to haul as much as I thought I did. Blessings
From 1 retired get to another, thank you, Stef, for your service. You’ve got a great attitude and a solid plan. You’ll do well.
Wonderful person and story! Very impressive rig also.
Thank you for posting this video, Bob.
Stephanie, I hope you will have a RUclips channel, or even a blog, for those of us who don’t do FaceBook. Thank you for your service. So sorry you were injured. Take care and safe travels. Oops, my bad. Just got to end of video and saw you’re already on YT as Transgender Traveler. Thanks anyway.

Him
No actully, it is her. I've had bottom surgery and am female.
What ever
You can change physical attributes but you cannot change your biology.
Wow Stephanie, you know how to hustle. You are on a great track and I think you could also teach people financial skills. You could help other figure out how to telecommute or learn a service related profession to use on the road. You clearly know how to set and achieve goal. I hope to see you down the road.
Look forward to meeting you Stephanie. I'm another Runaway owner. Thank you for your service. Enjoy traveling.
Thanks Stephanie for your service and sorry about your injury. How do you draw disability and also work? Just curious?
Bless you, Stephanie and thank you for being so open and willing to help others. My son is a Wounded Warrior and so I know the hassles he has with the VA. I can only imagine how much more difficult it must be for a transgendered soldier. I think it's awesome that the VA has you there to help them.
Stephanie, you are such a good public speaker. When you mentioned your education, what type of work you've done (as a teacher) I understood why! Keep up the good work and happy travels!
Stephanie for President :) @traveling Transgender

I am happy for you, Stephanie. Thank you for your service to our country and happy trails!

Terrific person with a great attitude and mission - God bless you, Stephanie!
Thank you
Awesome interview and really appreciate the good energy.
First... Thank you Stephanie for your service. Secondly, I'm very interested in learning how to you keep your snake with you ( heat, do you feed frozen/thawed prey. keeping the enclosure stable while driving) as I have a ball python. This poor guy is a rescue and has kind of been through hell. I don't think it would be fair to rehome him after taking him in for one, and he's kind of grown on me. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thirdly, I would really be interested in learning map reading as I never got the hang of it. I hope I meet people like this when I finally get out there.
This lady is awesome
What a interesting delightful well rounded gal she is. Who wears many hats. Your interviews keep getting better and better. Stay safe, Be careful, and Keep on rolling
Marc Possoff If she has gone through the complete process of ,transition, Then legally and physically she is a gal, No different than any other women who has under gone a complete hysterectomy..
Yann Kitson Who cares any DNA in this Instance? When was the last ,time you saw anyone’s DNA? Also what difference should it make when these people are done with their transitioning.Live and let live especially when it should be no concern to you.
CriticInAVehicle I have moved on just setting the record straight for those who won’t allow themselves to want to accept others the way they identify themselves as,that’s all..
She is
I am a gal, had surgery this year but was on the inside for years. :-)
Ha! I’ve got the exact same purple flannel and it’s one of my favorites!
Safe journey luv, and keep that spirit, it’s very inviting.
Be well,
Ma’iingankwe
Thank you for the great video
That must have been one of your easiest interviews. Stephanie was very animated.
Whatever you receive monthly is not a blessing you EARNED THAT and deserve more. Thank you for your service and I'm glad you didn't lose your life. 🙏
Andrea Lodden Thank you for the kind words.
Why not get a trailer that's bigger? Whats the appeal of such a tiny trailer? Gas mileage?
Sharing your training as you mentioned is a wonderful idea. I know so many people that can't read a road map. Also Personally my Compass skills are limited at best and yes I am a pilot. :)
A very nice idea to save some money too! And what a colourful person Stephanie is! Thanks!
Thank you for your service Stephanie and thank you for sharing your story.
Wow I just love her and the whole vibe and educational possibilities with your channel
God has blessed you, Stephanie. What a great way to make lemonade from lemons. It's no fun being injured, but making it out alive and having a chance for a good future is a blessing.
need some RTR in my life
Wow very impressive. Stephanie has it all together😀
amasing person, great interview
JogBird thank you
You obviously do not know what transgender means. Also you are quite ignorant.
Thanks Bob. I really enjoyed this interview. Love her rig and her story and how she has made the decisions about her car and rig. Made a lot of sense.
Stephanie you rock!!!!!
Very smart lady. ♥
Ms Stephanie, you seem like such a sweet lady!
Best of luck with all you do! Maybe I’ll get to meet you in the future at an RTR! Hoping to get on the road in another year.
God bless you
Good for you and good luck. :)
I like how she brought up on how to share to the community. Giving to others is the best thing one can do in their lifetime, it really does bring joy. Amazing woman, thanks!
Love this interview!!
I love her attitude about wanting to be of service as an introvert!! That is ME!! It IS a challenge reaching that boundary of stretching yourself out of your comfort zone. Good for her for having a WONDERFUL plan! Great interview!
Darn! I’m sorry I missed her! I was out there at the women’s RTR but I was back & forth between town and camp - I missed a couple great ones!!
Thanks Bob!!
Lauri
From one Stephanie to another, you rock! Great interview and good information! Thank you for sharing Bob!
Really good info on the Runaway with a cool person. You never know who you will meet out there on the road.
