For me i don't understand why they wouldn't give more multi-player racing, we have a game mode Destruction royale, but no one plays it and the grand racing is getting old fast, we need standalone racing like just tier 1 or 2 and so on because many players like me have finished the game and only have grand racing. Summit rewards don't offer rewards like they should for such lack of content IMO Very frustrating. I hope noobisoft reads these comments and understands I'm not bashing the game i love this game its great but NOTHING TO DO.
I believe it did. From online grand races I wasn't getting much luck getting legendary parts, but after a recent update I've seen a massive improvement in those drops. For me I get legendary parts in like every other race as long as I finish within a certain position. This is just from my experience so it could vary for others. As a perfect example, I did 10 online grand races last night and out of those races I got 8 legendary parts. Of those races, two of them dropped 2 legendary parts for me.
I've gotten so much Legendary parts now just from Online Grand Races, top 5 often. I haven't even farmed in the PLAYLIST AT ALL. Granted probably not the fastest but way more fun to do then grinding boring Playlist.
I honestly didn’t mind the grind before, I actually enjoy grinding games. It’s an easy way to relax for me to have a tv show on in the background while I play the same race / escape over and over again and not have to put much thought into what I’m doing - but it’s only fun if it gets me anywhere. It was already horribly slow before but after the update I tried grinding for rally parts and I still don’t have legendaries on some of the parts at all despite maxing goldfinger/ lucky on each part and maxing them with my legend points. Also, the decision to patch out the most commonly used farms (peacock flats, hummer express, ground works) is very contradictory to their “we don’t want the grind to take so long” statement. Instead of introducing new ways to get parts and helping us with the grind, they’re just choosing to remove the fastest ways to grind
My personal experience is that the drop rate in Grand Race has increased but not in the normal playlist. I got legendary parts much often than before in GR. But the grinding in playlist is still painful as hell. I’m currently grinding for rally cars. I’ve been doing it for 3 days in E hummer delivery or kiss me but I still couldn’t finish my nitro set with one missing part. The whole grinding process is so boring and painful and I really hope future updates could fix it.
Honestly you're just being unlucky, use full loot affix (don't need loot legend set) and you'll see roughly 1.3-2x the legend parts dropping compared to before season 2. I know it's luck but i've had playlist events and grands now that have given 3+ legendaries per run

What's up trigger?!! Love the channel! I have almost 1000 hours in crew 2 and around 280 in motorfest. Always seems to me that if I do the same race over and over the parts drop got worse. If I switch back and forth between several different races it was much better. But I could be wrong. 🤔
i usually get all my parts from the treasures, and have not noticed any improvements in that. the biggest problem i have with the game is the terrible summit rewards. Whats crazy is sometimes i only do the summit on the crew 2, and ignore the motorfest summit since the one in tc2 has better rewards that transfer over. even the summit vehicle reward this month for motorfest i already have, so no point in trying to get it again
After having played close to 400 hours since the early launch I seem to have the best results in legendary part drops when switching races, I always "seem" to get more legendaries the first time I play a race I haven't played in some time compared to the standard drops when repeating the same race. I'm seeing what feels like the best drops when sequentially farming a batch of high-yielding races rather than repeating one specific race.
So for me I noticed that I have not gotten more legendaries but I'm getting different legendaries to complete sets. In the old patch it would take me around 1 or 2 days of gaming to complete the 6 different legendary sets per category and now it takes me 1 day to complete the sets. I also play a lot on my days off of work and this is just what I noticed for me.
I have gotten a ton of Legendary parts from the Kiss Me Kombi event but the cars I use have maxed out Lucky and Goldfinger. If you max those out you will get a ton of Legendary parts.
It feels like they've increased a bit the drop in GR (especially for the podium) BUT it stills is faster to farm parts with the playlists even with the nerf...
yeah they really need to increase the droprate of legendary items. Grinding the stuff in TC2 was tedious but it is even worse in Motorfest. also they NEED to revert the change to the rewind function, its useless now.
I’m almost certain that was their goal. They changed the way “convert holds to presses” works solely to prevent reset points in races and that’s caused them to negatively impact every part of the game
I don't do a lot of grinding to get parts, but to me it seems I'm getting less green parts. I usually play Back in Time from the vintage playlist. At around 3 minutes it's not the fastest route but I just enjoy it, has no time limit, no opponents and gives plenty of parts
I play the game since like 2 weeks after release. I didn't do much straight up grinding with repeating the feats, maybe 2 hours total. I still don't have the Scorebreaker set or Nitro Chemist in any of the classes.
when i grinded parts on the "kiss me Kombi"" event i actually got at least 1 legendry every time i finished the event plus i even got 2 times in a row rewards that were all legendary parts which was sooo good
I was a TDU addict, I enjoyed cruising with my pals and with total strangers, and I had fun racing and losing to both. I think it is a shame that the way people feel this game could be improved is by improving the loot. To me, grinding is only enjoyable in the short term, and we are being let down by the lack of many things that made TDU 1 & 2 classic games.
@@Dad_Noir Do you imagine how fast the grind would be if they loot intact and add the swap parts. It would take an hour to do all vehicle categories. Then it would be possible to really enjoy the game.
Testing results aside I have noticed getting more legendary parts on all the events I've been playing without using cars with a loot digger set or maxed affixes. Just naturally playing with whatever parts my car's have. Might just be placebo tho.
This game lacks so many features that make the Crew 2 really good. For example when the Demon first came out they gave it to you for 1 cc on Halloween. They also did a 50% loot increase drop for a.week a few times. There's no way to display your cars like the mansions in the crew 2. They could easily Create a warehouse in the game and charge players $10 to buy the unit for displaying and everyone would buy it. The cars on TC2 cost less so they easier to purchase and the events pay out more. I can do the Harley race on hard and get 100k in 8 minutes.
The better u do in grand races the better the rewards are. Ur almost guaranteed to have at the bare minimum 1 legendary part for placing top 3. I have been consistently getting 3-6 legendary parts every time i place top 3.
Just to clarify, I’m not saying “get gud” if u want better rewards. It’s simply an observation. I still think they need to increase drop rates by a significant margin, at least in pve. If ur playing against the hardest difficulty ai, then u should be guaranteed at least 1 legendary part for short circuits, anything lasting more than 4 mins you should get at least 2 legendaries, at the very least..
I made a full set of rare parts with the lucky affix and got more than one of each legendary parts for drift just by doing the playlist and summit and not replaying over and over bare in mind I didn’t even have a max perf level before this update 😊 so seems they did something
not only they ruined legendary parts drop, they also ruined recalibration on parts: you'll get shit stats on parts and also chance of getting needed stat is reduced
I think the new drop rare is for new players and players with very little parts. If we already have a lot of legendary parts for each class already then i don't think it effect us.
I feel like the only good and consistent way of getting legendary parts is hunting Gold Treasure Chests. This way u can get guaranteed gold parts, depending on your Lucky/Goldfinger ,) IF U WANT ALL LEGENDARY SETS ON ALL CLASSES U NEED TO FARM 588 MATCHING PARTS. A 6% drop rate is ridiculous, can't imagine when casuals want to get some sets, this will take ages. I've spent around 250+ hours and slowly reaching the half. This is an absurd grind IMO...
If anything, I'm getting fewer legendaries. I have maxed out Lucky and Goldfinder and have had multiple times where I have gone several races in a row with no legendary drops
I scrapped +140 legendary parts for Street tier 2 today lol - now i have 10 complete sets. 2 each (nitro, xp, bucks etc). Kinda screwed up and scrapped all my Loot diggter sets, but whatever, not like i need them
Maybe they take into account how many legendaries you already have, speeds things up for lower levels but slows it down to keep it somewhat difficult to achieve
Actually the opposite. Adding the fact that we have useless perks like the treasure ones or the bucks increase (which lets say it, grand races are the best money method and treasures give shit parts and are useless), it’s so hard to get nice stuff compared to tc2.
That is great you are helping new players. I got all my legendary for all class of vehicles during the 1st week month of the game. Can you explain how come there is an Audi RS 2 Avant, an RX-7 anniversary and Lambo Huracan LP610-4 in the auto show.
It is either the same or worst then before (at the for the normal races/playlists), I've been grinding parts for street 1 and it is a living nightmare. It takes a while to get a golden part and when you get it may be what you need or complete garbage.
Am I the only one that noticed that the liberty walk event that we used to grind to get good parts for street tier 1 and 2 is now playable with class? Am I wrong or did they change this?
I left because of the game due to the part nerf… I didn’t take advantage of the rewind trick and now I fell like I’m to far behind to even have a chance AND NOW they make it worse?

I can state from experience that the loot quality went from a base of 0% to 25% before modifiers and it feels like placement grands changes loot quality Edit: I do also think you don’t have great luck, pray to RN Jeezus or something

hey i think you did a little mistake in your process and let me explain : they also said (if i'm not mistaken) that they patched some known races for instance the Hammer express, kiss me bambi and ground works as everyone is using them to grind and it's very efficient so i think the drop for these is in fact decreased. i have noticed that in the grand race the drop significantly increased as i get much more yellow parts. finally the real question is : who would like to grind with the actual system of affix and remove that takes an infinite time. i personally quit grinding and maybe i'll quit the game too
People are leaving motorfest because there's simply nothing to do outside of grand races and summits once they're done with the playlists. Add in all the bugs, not much reason for players to stick around unfortunately.
The summits have been disappointing too, giving out tc2 vanities or weak platinum cars. I only got into TC2 early this year and went back to playing that.
The LOOT QUANTITY has increased but the LOOT QUALITY is still TRASH. I have been playing every week since launch and still haven't got 1 FULL LEGENDARY set for any cars.Absolutely madness compared to CREW 2 by now you would have full sets for most cars after 3 months. They are killing this game because we can't grind forever. You are 100% correct TRIGGER 👍👍

They can increase it all they want, its RNG at the end of the day, so really, the only factor that actually matters when grinding is your luck stat, not in game, but real life.
Since they killed the popular grinding methods I just look for the gold chests. I’ve honestly fallen off the game hard. The main reason you grind legendary parts is for the summit, but the platinum rewards have been super disappointing or old TC2 vanities.
I wont be spending time in motorfest. after destroying both peacock flats and hummer express that was enough to push me back to TC2 and im making 27K in 30 seconds. And im buying cars for 20% cheaper and having them imported. So what incentive do I have to go back to motorfest....... none. I already have all my sets for all the important car classes and summit rewards are terrible in motorfest. Just despicable. It's not good enough imo the drop rates need a big bump up. The parts grind is miserable and it os pushing players away from the game. If they don't change this, it will gradually kill off the game. Having such an huge and fundamental part of the game be a poor experience makes the game not fun, makes it unbalanced to a degree as it directly affects the pvp aspect of the game. There's just absolutely no good reason to make so grindy, it's not fun. Most of us can't spend most of the day, each day farming parts for summits
I think the legendary parts is terrible. I cant see the point of having a gold set and legend points set on goldfinger etc, when the Gold drops are so low. Also noticed on every caterogy there is always one certain gold part what takes days and days to get. And Nitro chemist gold parts dont come as much as others. Im close to quitting this game like many others have.
i stopped playing this game because after more than 200 races on drag race i couldn't get a full set of gold parts, for that reason i rather to play forza or nfs since you only need money from the game to upgrade the car and not to grind parts.

You're right, there's no real car culture aspects. It's just do the same races over and over and over. All the fun stuff is missing.

I'm getting more legendaries than ever before and i do not notice any difference on recalibration. U have just been unlucky.

the fps is truly awful. Ubisoft/Ivory tower are not even replying either. Over 3 months since launch and its getting worse.

They can increase it all they want, its RNG at the end of the day, so really, the only factor that actually matters when grinding is your luck stat, not in game, but real life.
Since they killed the popular grinding methods I just look for the gold chests.
I’ve honestly fallen off the game hard. The main reason you grind legendary parts is for the summit, but the platinum rewards have been super disappointing or old TC2 vanities.
I wont be spending time in motorfest. after destroying both peacock flats and hummer express that was enough to push me back to TC2 and im making 27K in 30 seconds. And im buying cars for 20% cheaper and having them imported. So what incentive do I have to go back to motorfest....... none. I already have all my sets for all the important car classes and summit rewards are terrible in motorfest. Just despicable. It's not good enough imo the drop rates need a big bump up. The parts grind is miserable and it os pushing players away from the game. If they don't change this, it will gradually kill off the game. Having such an huge and fundamental part of the game be a poor experience makes the game not fun, makes it unbalanced to a degree as it directly affects the pvp aspect of the game. There's just absolutely no good reason to make so grindy, it's not fun. Most of us can't spend most of the day, each day farming parts for summits

I won 2 races in a row and got 6 legendary parts from it.
I’ve played 165 hours and only have 1 set of legendary parts and it’s treasure sniffer ffs lol

I think the legendary parts is terrible. I cant see the point of having a gold set and legend points set on goldfinger etc, when the Gold drops are so low. Also noticed on every caterogy there is always one certain gold part what takes days and days to get. And Nitro chemist gold parts dont come as much as others. Im close to quitting this game like many others have.
i stopped playing this game because after more than 200 races on drag race i couldn't get a full set of gold parts, for that reason i rather to play forza or nfs since you only need money from the game to upgrade the car and not to grind parts.
No increase in gold parts ..i noticed a decrease with loot digger & lucky at 175%the quality worse more blue & purpink ..this part system is str8 shit makes me dislike the game ..gave it a 1star review on xbox

I actually think it’s fine the way it was. I like the grind It didn’t take me too long. I set my parts the correct way and legend points too, a lot of people just don’t want to put the work in.
