Who doesn't love the idea of a tactical sneaker??!! I have had three pairs of these and sadly they aren't worth the hype. Dozen's of long uncut threads inside. The sole material is almost a hard plastic and wears out quickly. Out of the box the sole has hardly any grip at all. The vents( elastic) blow out in weeks, the fabric at the heel wore out in less than a month and the insole sucks. These shoes might be "dope" for all the tier one operators who are getting them for that deep behind enemy lines marine op... and can treat them like the are disposable...but if you are paying between 105.00 and 170.00 for these things you are getting hosed. They are literally disposable. 2-3 months tops before they are smooth on the bottom and done. If you want a true tactical shoe go for the Salomon Speed Assault 2 or step out of the tactical arena and get the Inov8 trail fly G 270 in black.
Frankly, I wouldn't pay more than 100 for something like this. They're certainly interesting, but what keeps them interesting for me is the value to cost ratio. I've seen them go for well under 100, and that's good. Decent shoes for that price, even if they're not the best, is interesting.
Was looking for tactical and found this happen stance new in drab at thrift store for $14 lol Love em a D in the past I only wore vans and chucks so these are nice Look more age appropriate since I’m 48
@@walterbryan1798yes water goes in just as easy it should go out. If you expect to get em wet, wear em barefoot and pack dry socks and maybe a change of shoes. Wet feet is asking for issues if you don’t dry em soon enough imo
@@walterbryan1798 As a Florida girl, yes the water goes in. But with proper socks, these shoes also let the water out and drain and dry SUPER fast. Really good for hikes where I know I'm going to get soakers. Boots are great if you keep the water out, these are great at keeping the water from staying in. The whole shoe is minimal and holds up great. My man uses them for work where he does a lot of kicking and footwork and they last him about a year before he kicked a hole through the bottom of it. Granted the shank still kept his shoe working just fine. I've had a pair now for 2 years as my daily outdoor/hiking shoe and other than the tread being worn a little bit and the shoe looking like its been rolled around in the mud they are perfectly fine. Just get a half or full size up because they run small.
Theyr ok. The cordura is excellent because lasts longer than chucks but the sole I’m not so sure I prefer chucks. The design is pretty cool tho’ The insole is interesting
Huge FAIL is that mesh-port should be a one way out only! If it’s a two way port being placed lower to the souls if you step in to a puddle you’re taking on water and that’s a NO GO.

Botach has em on sale for $35 usually go for over $100 so you got a great deal
I remember when these first came out, and I’ve been seeing a lot of guys wearing them. Maybe I should try some.
I was skeptical, but they are a good middle ground from boot and high top vans

Does water come in the drain ports easily? Florida is pretty wet.

Why did they not make a composit toe shoe.
What pants are you wearing? I like the look of them.
Under Armor Enduro pants. I love them.
@lethal_engagement_solutions Thanks, bro🤙
Were these true to size or did you have to order a half size bigger? I've heard these run a tad small...
Switching the insoles made it for more true to size.
@@lethal_engagement_solutions Cool. Thank you.
Awesome vid. What brand pants are those?
Under Armour Enduro Elite Cargo Pants
Nice Sav-Tac shirt, wearing the same one now lol
Are these composite or steel toe?
I don’t think that have a safety toe

Super
Just wear chucks or vans like seals used to before the tactical companies started copying them.
This is the way. Vans sk8-Hi MTE are all you need forever..
Yep these are more amphibious shoes, expect your feet to be wet unless you’re in the desert or pavement.
They all totally built off the Chucks & Vans platform.
Look Like Rhodesian Takkies
They are worn by Navy Seals.
