    • @Thee-_-Outlier
      @Thee-_-Outlier 2 года назад +2

      Probably because they were designed as a water shoe, not a walking shoe. That sole is a special rubber that is used in free climbing. It's supposed to be "sticky" for grip. What you want if you're using them as normal shoes is their newer urban assault which isn't a water shoe like the maritime assault. They released the urban assault because ppl were buying the maritime ones for every day use and that's not the purpose of them. So they came out with an urban assault. These maritime shoes were designed for navy seals(to put flippers over) and they use closed cell foam and the like so nothing but the cordora absorb water. This way when they hit the beach they don't have waterlogged shoes. They have a high performance water shoe They are literally a real water shoe. they are popular however civilians use them as a standard tennis shoe. Anyways the sole wearing isn't a knock because it isn't the use case for the shoe.

    • @NoblesTx
      @NoblesTx  5 лет назад +6

    • @AUSly09

      If you have high arches, just swap out the insoles.

    • @ianmacdraws3326

      That's entirely an insole thing, not something related to the construction of the actual shoe itself.

      Hello. I do run using these shoe. I have the black mid cut. I am on my 3rd month running at least 3 times a week for 5km (3mi). The only issue i have is that I find the insole a little bit too thin. I used a spare insole almost same thickness with the standard one and added them. Am planning to buy an athletic insole once the quarantine is over. But other than that, this shoe is built like a tank! I can run in all terrain. Also i wear them almost everyday and ignore my other shoes. XD ahahaha

    • @chellsee4167
      @chellsee4167 4 года назад +9

      I don't see why not. People run in minimalist shoes and barefoot all the time. The shock absorption of the shoe doesn't matter as long as you have good running mechanics.

    • @mattrobson3603
      @mattrobson3603 3 года назад

      If Converse All-Stars are suitable running shoes for you, then these will do fine. Otherwise, I wouldn't use these for running, particularly on paved surfaces (if you're running on dirt/grass, the terrain will provide enough shock absorption). If you run on road or sidewalk then stick to shoes that are dedicated for actual running from a company that specializes in such (like Asics/Brooks/Saucony/New Balance)

      They stick too ice it's kinda freaky to be honest. Snow too not too bad. Cold floors and super cold temperatures are not cool in the shoes. When it gets to gets to 20 out your feet can tell. I'm wearing two pairs of socks one being wool. Your feet will sweat and kinda freeze in them once you stop moving around. So in short don't stop moving. Your feet do squeeze out any water in three steps I like that in wet weather
