- Recently I visited our Woobies Shoes factory here in Texas. We went through the start to finish process of how they hand-make their shoes from scratch. Woobies Shoes are some of the only shoes still handmade in American today.
It’s an all-American brand too; we are veteran-owned and operated plus the Shoes are designed by Green Berets.
We have put a ton of time and effort into making a shoe that not only feels great but is also extremely durable. They’re built for anything from kicking down doors, target practice at the range, or just lifting weights.
Once you slip a pair for the first time you’ll understand why they have over 500+ 5-star reviews.

Love to see Made in the USA. Love to support veteran-owned businesses. The fact their made in Texas gets extra points. Not really my style of shoe, but I will buy some and see if I like them. They do look very comfy! USA!!!
I cant express how happy I am to finally see people figuring out that we have to buy American!!
Can we get a video montage of Tim Kennedy kicking down doors with these shoes?
I was hoping for a video of tim walking his dog on the beach in them.... but this works too😆
With a surgical mask!
Haha big super slow motion shots of dust and debris lmao
He could spinning back kick the door
Hahaha that would be hilarious 😂
Fantastic! Can't wait to grab some💗Been wearing converse for 35 years. I'm Canadian but thank you for your service to your country💗
Glad to see shoes manufactured in the US. I typically buy Aldens or C&J’s and Alfred Sargent. These are cool too
Thank you for your Service Guys.
Made in Texas! Love it. Will try a pair. Now lose the face diapers You’re not in CA although you’re being invaded.
Dude you hit that nail RIGHT ON THE HEAD. it was exactly what I was thinking so funny. And that’s definitely one of the reasons why we moved to the beautiful state of Texas after 40 years in comifornia love Texas, it’s people, way of life and it’s freedoms it gives to its citizens, I’m a god loving gun loving patriot and Texas is now our new home. God bless Texas
Yes, so bizarre that they were wearing them. Ridiculous!❤️
Tim is a leftist, what do you expect?
This is why I used to watch "how it's made" You know what's your spending you money on. Good product guys!
I'm an industrial mechanic and automation tech. I can't believe how game changing these shoes are. Walking 10.000 plus steps up and down stairs all day. Plus, my everyday life.
What’s up with the masks? Wasn’t this filmed in Texas?
But when was it filmed is the question. This could've been filmed at the start of the year before the governor got rid of the masks
@@hopeless2474 If it was filmed during the first two, maybe three months of this trauma-based mind control, then okay. Any more than that, then nah. Love TK, couldn’t watch this vid. Sometimes, that’s just how things go.
@@govtom4 snowflake lol
@@undisputedchamp4317 Lol.
I live in a state that doesn't require masks but there are certain parts that certain mayors force it. I don't think it should be allowed but I don't live in that district so I can't help recall them.
My, my....How times have changed......Was partners in a leather shop in Carpinteria, CA in 1971 for about 9 months [Norsemen Leather with Alex Nordholm...My last name is German]....Worked my way thru 2 yrs of college with GI Bill and hippy-dippy leather craft....The summer of 1971, worked full time in the shop and made 60 pairs of custom sandals from foot tracings....Glued upper and lower soles clench nailed all around, but left straps loose to adjust to each foot....Then it took about 5-10 minutes to finish nail, cut, dye, buff strap ends....No stitching, just solid brass rivets, brass buckles when needed and copper shoe nails......Didn't have a name stamp, so had to stamp my last name one letter at a time (didn't bother doing so with most of the sandals).....A few people noticed my name on the top sole and thought I was kidding, since my last name is Schumacher.....arrrrr
Cool lookin' dog covers, but I don't wear shoes (SW FL, wear flip flops if required)....Will probably buy a pair for rare times I put on shoes (winter when it's in the 50s)....I thought 'woobies' were security blankies for special forces....Wouldn't know, wuz a sewer pipe sailor over 50 yrs ago..... ;o)
We will use it proudly. Made in USA. God bless America 🇺🇸!
Just snagged a pair of cementos. Great looking shoes. Hand made in the M’F’n USA. Score!
Not anymore 😂
Glad to see the stitching around the sole of the shoe most shoes fall apart there within 6 months.
Had my 2 pairs for 2 years! My everyday shoe and great for riding my Harley. Semper Fi. Made in USA
Just ordered a pair in OD green, sure wish you'd consider a high top for motorcycle riders. Thank you for your service and GOD BLESS AMERICA
jocko would like a word with you lol
SEAL vs Green Beret
Woobies vs Origin
The internet owns me. I clicked on a woobie link last week, then this video was suggested today. In the comments someone mentioned Jocko, I checked our his brand Origin, and bought a rash guard that I don't need.
More like vs altama. These are Performance. 4 drain ports vs 2. Heavy duty toe cap...These are quality MIUSA + mats. GR macs and altama both made in the Viet. Origin are different function completely...No treding on any one here. TK for the win in this catagory 💯🗣🇺🇸
The way I see it the more American made products the better
Is he writing another book?
Awesome guys love the shoe!!! Nice-looking two. I'd love to get a pair. Yeah baby made in the USA👍
Can't wait for you to get some 10.5 size in, I'm getting all the colors!
God I love buying Texas made products!
I have three pairs of Mod 1. So far so good. The fit is similar to Merrell.
I’m a distributor in Louisiana. My product is “Be Water”
I started this as a Marine Veteran because in Iraq the bottled water we had, had been sittin in pallets upon pallets in the sun and that’s what started my obsession with bottled water lol. Did you know that 60% of the bottled water Americans drink is imported from other countries!! That’s insane for WATER! I found a company that had somewhat recently became the owners of the largest artesian spring water supply in the whole US. I learned why Fiji water actually taste so good, it’s to do with the elevation that the water aquifer is at. A low elevation aquifer gives bad tasting water like the wells here in Louisiana. Higher elevation aquifer like Fiji or Be Waters aquifer gives a better more clean water. I feel like with your notoriety and the sheer greatness of this new Bottled water, we can spread it to the masses, increasing America’s percentage of American made bottled water
Always gotta make it about you. Nobody’s reading the novel you wrote bruh. 🤣
Of course, Tim Kennedy would have a "soul laying" station. I need a Texas based "soul laying" station, too. God bless you guys. Your soles, souls, too.
Well done. Only 2 upvotes = greatly under appreciated comment.
Proud owner and user of Woobies from the Netherlands here. Nothing tactical besides airsoft but man, they walk great! Only thing is when i kick them off, the rubbery inner sole comes out. Besides that, awesome!!!
Green beret owned and designed!!!
GONNA HAVE TO GET A PAIR.
Just ordered my second pair. My first pair are low tops and I love them. I'm getting my second pair in a high top so I can use the for Motorcycle riding.
Got mine today, like them already, can't wait to get em broke in!
went through the mild trouble of getting a pair of Woobies shipped to me in Australia (was not a direct option at the time) a couple of years ago and unfortunately they where too narrow for my feet (nike's patters are also too narrow for me but most brands fit without going wide sizes), gave them to a buddy who has abused the hell out of them and they are still like new.
seems Woobies now has international shipping so that part would be simple now.
so on the wishlist would be wide sizes (13 specifically)
Can't wait to get my WOOBIES! Ordered them Saturday. MADE IN AMERICA!! Semper FI baby
Just ordered my first pair of cement mod1shoes. Thanks for the American make product.
I’m all in, I’ll never buy another pair of shoes other than these❗️
Looks like a nice shoe. I got a semi cuz its made in america. God bless
I’ll have to try a pair like to hear about them thank you 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Finally a shoe that doesn't use child labor but a trusty working party to make! (I kid)...I'll definitely be ordering a pair for mountain biking to give em a try.
I love how Tim called the parts of the shoe...
the "upper & lower".... always thinking of his AR-15👌
That’s a nice fish. That’s a snook right?
Well, that's the one industry term used for them, soooo yeah....
@@firstlast7112 forgive the man for not knowing “industry terms” in the shoe manufacturing industry 🙄 you say that like it’s supposed to be common knowledge
Not to trash the shoe but after about a month and a half the sole came apart from the canvas top, there is basically a string that holds the sole to the rest of the show and if that comes undone anywhere the shoe is toast. Just a heads up for some people. I wasn’t kicking doors in it lol was just walking my dog, running to the store, etc. My foot is slightly wide but I’ve always had normal shoes that held up 6 months to a year. First pair of expensive shoes I bought will most likely go back to $40 shoes
Same experience for me
@@fastfreeks bought croc tennis shoes that are amazing. Have 5 pairs still on my first after 3 months
Cool price too, 109$ and shipping to France was only 23$ so i had to snag one pair.
Love you Tim, especially all the content you creat. Honestly for me these shoes were horrible fell apart in like two months. That was a year ago and they look alot more sturdy now.
I had the same problem they lasted about 4 months and fell apart. Hopefully they are using better material now.
High tops and steel toed variants would be perfect.
Wish I didn't have to use orthotics! I would buy these in a heartbeat!
I love my Woobies MOD-1, very sturdy and comfy!
We need more made in America.
I'm tired of all these defeatists saying it can't be done or that it can't be done at a profit.
It can be done if Americans have the drive and good ideas.
Just got mine today! So excited to be wearing them finally!
Thank you for your service sir....I served as well. I will be ordering a pair of these shoes so keep the different models coming out. Good looking shoe with obvious quality.
I bought a pair years ago. Still fit great and look brand new
Great to know about these. Need high top version and ranger green color imo.
I was so interested until I saw what the shoe looked like😂
Lol many people like converse’s, so not much of a lost on your end.
I wish you all the success, thank you for making a product you care about and especially manufacturing it in your own country.
I want these shoes and I want the Tshirt I love my woobie in the field ♥️Definitely want a T-shirt that represents my woobie and now I can wear some great shoes made in America 🇺🇸 made in Texas
I'm sitting in front of the computer with my brand new Woobies on feeling fine!!
Looks like an awesome cause, would be awesome if you guys made a pair without such a narrow toebox and if it was more "foot shaped".
I love the look, could you guys make a kitchen safe slip resistant one. I’m a chef from Austin,TX in need! I’m about to test out the mod1 regardless!
They’re certified slip resistant, it says so on the website 👍
Where are you chefing?

All in on this. Love the fact that the are made here in the good O’l 🇺🇸!!! Thanks for your service guys. Ordering a set first thing tomorrow morning.
Ordered mine! Should be here anytime
Would love to try a pair. All my sizes in the two styles offered keep saying sold out! Good luck on it gents
"Made In TEXAS" = Sold! Soon as you get 15s in stock in black I'm grabbin' a pair! Thanks, dudes! Thank you for your service. Lookin' forward to it!
You mean made in Spain
Looking like a good Truck Drivers Friend.
Definitely gonna look at these and Nick's Boots the next time I purchase shoes. If ya'll could make a relatively low heel weightlifting shoe(everyone doesn't NEED a 3/4" heel) you'd have another product the industry desperately needs.
I also was wondering if the mod-1's would b good for weightlifting(mainly squats & deads), are they zero-drop ?
Yes all Texas brand! Now bring on the videos of real world use!!
Love the gun reference, this is the upper.
3:14 well, I just learned that stitching by hand means by machine.
Clueless to what making an actual handmade shoe is about.
Stitching by hand, automated robotic stitching and hand sown are not the same.
yeah, I was thinking that too. lol. When I used to sew I used a sewing machine, but if I said I hand stitched the hem, or put the pearls on by hand, I wasn't talking about the sewing machine anymore.
@@bjohnson2143 sewing machine is hand sewing as long as you are sitting behind it moving around what your sewing. No one uses a needle and thread to make handmade boots and shoes unless you are living and working from a van down by the river.
@@GregariousAntithesis If you say it, I don't know enough to doubt it. But in my opinon that falls into the category of misleading people.. . . or at least misleading me. It seems today that people change the meaning of words and some people, like me still think it means what is once meant.
Take vaccines. The definition used to be that it was a drug that prevented you from getting a disease if you came into contact with someone that has the disease. I actually read that for myself on the CDC wedsite. But that isn't what the COVID vaccine does.
So if I go into a bridal shop and see 2 dresses that look the same. If one is touted as having 'hand sown pearls' on it and the other doesn't say anything but also has pearls on it; and the one with the 'hand sewn pearls' sign sells for $1,000 more the other dress, I'm going to assume some person actually used a needle and thread to those pearls on, as my mother did with my dress. If I bought that dress and later found out a woman behind a machine did it, I'd be pissed.
I admit, it's probably my own fault. I don't keep up with all the changes people make to words. But too I think people take advantage that to cheat people. . not that I think the shoe people were trying to do that since they showed them making the 'hand made' part.
If I asked you if you wanted hand made (homemade) ice cream or if you wanted store bought, would you assume they meant the same thing and I'd bought both of them from the grocery store or would you think I made the custard and put it in my ice cream machine (hand cranked or electric) and did it myself at home?
This was the best advertising I seen for a product they claim is made in The USA , by showing it !! Awesome !!
No longer made in the USA guess they were all talk
I bought a pair when they first came out. They lasted almost a year. Unfortunately, the sole didn't hold up. Those shoes weren't as tough as TK. I may get another pair to see if I just got a bad pair.
How did they handle rainy days?
Best shoes on earth fact wow as a avid outdoors man and floor store owner I can talk to customers in these install floors in these hunt in these hike whatever I want and so comfortable took awhile to get them but worth the wait
I have Go Ruck shoes, they are awesome and also owned by green berets. These look awesome too though
First I heard of these shoes. Looks awesome 😎
Will there be a higher ankle model coming out anytime soon?
I cannot find a pair of shoes made in United States until now those are pretty bad ass I’m definitely gonna buy a pair thank you for making stuff back in United States
Russell Moccasin are made in Wisconsin.
I would like to thank you and all of our great military members for their service. THANK YOU!
I think I need a new pair of shoes as well.
I wish there was consistency among shoe brands on size, we all know some shoes run wide, some narrow, others wide upfront narrow in the back etc In some shoes I wear a 12 others a 12w, in others a 12 1/2 and even a 11 1/2w in some, it is frustrating the industry cannot develop a standard, it was not that big of a deal when we used to buy shoes in shoe stores and can try it on but today that is usually not the case, it is all done over the web.
Looks great to me! Best of luck!
Considering they cost about as much as foreign made shoes and are not ugly like those, I think I need to buy
Bought a pair because I need new work shoes and for some reason I trust your crack energy Tim. Please don't let me down like you let me down wearing a mask in this video.
F@$ckin’ TK cracks me up 😂😂😂
Love this guy
Cool, one of the first jobs I had when I got out of school in 86 was toe lasting. the exact same thing that machine was doing. Accept back then the machine was a concrete footed dinosaur. After a couple of years they shut the place down, moved to china or Japan don't remember. Anyway it's good to see jobs like this coming back.
If you don't mind me asking what shoe brand did you work for ?
@@CodyJPittman browns shoe company.
Those will be my Father’s Day present. Love em
We’re going to love this shoe in Korea. It looks very nice, I can see it becomes very popular here.
They look like Altama’s Meritime, but the difference the Meritime is designed for SEALS, and to also function underwater, in water or Raining. As well as normal wear.
Whoa! That is one sharp looking shoe! OOHRAH! Semper Fi
Theyre no longer veteran owned.
Nothing Like American Made and very durable and nice looking shoes to boot, get it?
Mine are super uncomfortable. In reference to the toe box area where the rubber toe meets the fabric. The crease where those two materials meet press down onto the top of my toes while walking. This causes pain after an hour of wear. Additionally the left shoe seems to be worse than the right.
Can't wait to get a pair!
I live in Ireland and I want a pair of these American made shoes plus they look cool 🇮🇪 ❤ 🇺🇲☘
Glad to see two fellow soldiers making their own way, they invest quite the chunk of change on training and when we ETS nobody cares, most end up driving trucks or drunk , good deal fella's
We love our Woobies! So much that we make whoppie in our Woobies! 😃
Not gonna lie I want some now and they aren't to pricey
I will support for sure. looks good👊🏾
Tim lose the mask
Just need to make a Wide size option & I'll try em out.
I hate that when brands do not come in Wide option, I have a very wide toe section of my foot but a narrow more normal heel so I have to have a wide shoe.
@@deanfirnatine7814 Same here. A lot of "barefoot" shoes have a wide toebox and narrow heel and have worked well for my similar feet.
there garbage they fall apart in 1 year . i bought some for landscaping they do not last. so there not for work .there not tactical.
If you make work boot, I would buy just because I like Tim Kennedy.
Cobratech knives are made in texas too, I've never had anything break so fast
🤣 just chinese junk put together in texas, wonder if this is the same.
You guys need to get on making some wide sizes, some of us have flippers for feet.
I second this.
I don't know if it will help but when I can't find a 10 1/2W an 11 usually works pretty well. Especially with the converse low top style of shoe. I usually use my own insoles so the arch ends up in the right place.
I didnt think Tim Kennedy would be wearing masks. Although its a disposable mask. So i think its only for the camera. Or just while he's in the warehouse
The thumbnail is gnarly
Nice show and tell there, is there a slip on shoe 👞 that you make for older Vets
I've heard Altama shoes were the best. I have a pair of their Urban Assaults and they are amazing. Not sure if these could compare, but I might be wrong.
Considering altama makes a maritime shoe that can be used diving I’m doubtful. Seems like a direct copy of their maritime shoe.
I would love to support a fellow veteran but unless they make it for a 13 wide foot then I'm sol.
SEMPER FI!! GONNA GET 'EM!! Will Mod.2 be coming in as mid-hi?
Love it!! Machine made in China making American made shoes!!!!
I just went and ordered a pair plus a tan TShirt!!
I am buying a pair, thanks Captain America Tim!
