I just want to take the time to say thank you. Thanks for taking your time to get all of this information, and give it to us, the viewers. Thank you for showing us a bunch of tips and tricks and helping us improve. In my opinion, you deserve WAY more subscribers and views.
Great video Ace! I love that you used the actual map in game. It provides a better visual to understand what you are trying to explain and we have all looked at it in game. Great video, keep it up!
Great job Ace, as usual. Domination is fairly easy to predict, as well a safeguard. But, I've been fortunate enough to watch and learn spawns from you since BO2. Thank you.
OMG Ace I've only been subbed to you for 2 weeks and I can not express how much I regret not subbing to you since AW. Your knowledge and the way you express it actually helps me improve as a cod player. I've only been playing cod for 8 months
Ace, subscribing to your channel was the most helpful decision I've made, you explain everything so well that I'm getting better at the game by watching you. Thanks man & keep it up
I just want to say, you do a great job on this channel, everything seems very thought out and you speak it very well and it is very helpful! keep it up :)
Nice work Ace. My issue with the spawns is that I typically get killed by the same guy who is running towards my base side. That's the most frustrating part about the spawns. Say you die to him in the middle of the map, then he's running towards your spawn and boom. He shoots you in the back and as you're respawning. Then when you respawn a 2nd time, he's *still* near you. I understand better that the game gives you a 1-2 second "safe zone" but when the guy is running in your direction, that's not enough time to react sometimes. Oh well. I've been on both ends of it and when I'm on the winning end, I feel a little bad for the opponent. But since it happens to me so often, sometimes I don't even care anymore that the spawns in general still need a lot of work. Either way, this is a helpful series since it looks like they won't be fixing/making it better any time soon. The game is just too face paced for any spawns to actually have a safe zone for longer than 5 seconds. The least I can do is try to adapt, so thanks!
Excellent video, best tutorial i've watched on RUclips (and i've watched plenty...!), thanks very much for taking the time to produce this. I would like to see tutorials for CTF respawns focusing on the competitive maps - Evac, Breach, Stronghold & Fringe.
Ace keep up the good work! I wish u get a mill subs b/c ur vids are very informative and u deserve it ! Hope 2016 is a good year for the channel ! I'll stay tuned
Damn ace thx! this was what I needed I was already able to do this in BO2 it isn't hard once you get it but I didn't play COD for a long time so I was confused and I know the spawn system didn't change in BO3 so once again thankx man!
Would love more "How to Dominate..." videos :D (P.S. Thanks! I used your tips and usually go around 10K 12D or so on TDM, after watching a few vids, I went consistently 16+ Kills and less than 7 deaths. Thanks mate)
+Subtleviper same with me dude! i usually go like 20:15 by now which is amazing for me and i even had a match today where i went 30:5 and got 3 cerberus :D aces videos are so fkn helpful!
+TheFlamingTornado1 Combine is too simple and the spawn behavior on that map doesn't show a lot of the subtleties that you experience with spawns on most of the other maps. 90% of spawns on Combine are simply on one end or the other with a few exceptions that I'll cover once I get to that episode.
+TheXclusiveAce na its cause combine is too small and its hard even for ace to give people information on where to head glitch and camp spawns. Thank you ace I feel much happier knowing kids will now find out where I spawn.
Your tips helped me a lot to improve my playing. Foremost: can you make more live commentaries on your playing because playing smart is the key to success. You are doing a great job and besides Thunder I like your videos most. Thanx for sharing your insights.
+asdfg hjkl; the anchor is a role in competitive HP, yes everyone needs to help keep the spawns but in 4v4 you usually have an AR slayer whose primary job is to anchor. so in competitive anchoring is done by everyone but primarily by that one person. that probably made no sense but still.
Hey Ace. Have you seen any evidence of the spawn logic being more lax for a player that is clearly dominating the game? I find that in TDM and KC when I jump out to a 20:2 start that the next handful of spawns place me very close to multiple enemies and facing a disadvantageous direction. A lot of times when I immediately spin to face away from my teammates, it's too late. My thought was that this was perhaps part of that 2-5% of complete shite spawns intended to give the opposing team an opportunity to hold down the opposing dominate player. The spawns also seem to happen in bunches so in this scenario, I'll drop from 20:2 to 21:11 with multiple disadvantageous spawns. This happens pretty consistently in those types of games but eventually, it'll put me in a safer zone or I have to kill off 5 or so players quickly to force their spawn to safer location. Just wanted your take.
+Requiem Catalyst No, I haven't seen anything whatsoever indicating that spawns are handled differently for different players. What I feel you may be experiencing is simply a loss of map control. When you hold map control, things tend to go great for you and you can dominate but when the tables turn and the enemy team gains that map control over you, you're now at a disadvantage and have to fight your way out. If you go from dominating with map control to dying and suddenly having very little map control and you don't adapt accordingly, this can result in a deathstreak pretty quickly.
+TheXclusiveAce it also could be revenge spawns. there has been rumors about enemies spawnin next to the guy who killed them to make the game more fast paced. if you killed a lot of people the a lot of people spawn near you
+Henry Montero There has also been no evidence in my testing of a revenge spawn system. I haven't tested FFA yet though and I feel if it does exist, it would be most prevalent in FFA.
+TheXclusiveAce Thank you very much for this info. I'm breaking away from beginner status in COD and like you I understand if a person understands how a game works(mechanics ect) one can then work on truly mastering a game.
It would be great if you could use whatever callsigns are popular to describe the map and the spawn locations. This would help learn. For instance, I heard people say statue, cave, bedroom, radar, ...
Great video Ace. At this point, I'd just love to be able to play the damn game on PC! Servers are absolutely HORRIFIC here in Eastern Europe. Every day since holidays started have been rubber-banding lag fests. Absolutely infuriating!
I would like to ask you a question Ace, if for example in one of the spawns there is a Talon or a Cerberus, does it have the same effect as if a player is standing there? I hope you understand my question
+Roberto Vb Scorestreaks are tough to definitively test with spawns so don't take my word as 100% fact but my experience has been that if a streak like a talon or cerberus has a direct line of sight on a spawn, it will try to find a more safe spawn if possible but it doesn't seem to be as strict as if a player has that same direct line of sight.
I think that any ennemy's device might have some effects on spawns. Even non lethal ones. As for myself, when I play HardPoint on Nuketown (when I am alone and nobody seems to be aware of how important it is to control spawns with at least one player being the anchor), I always use trip mines that I put on purpose on spawns in the gardens, when the hardpoint moves into the houses. I feel like they prevent ennemies to spawn right near them. I was also using shock charges before but I seem to recall that it failed one time. My experience (900 hours of gameplay) has been that I absolutely never spawned right on a trip mine. So, I guess that this "spawn lock" technique should actually work.
Huh, I've always done that tip with the minimap xD I do it by instinct now and just look for where my teammates are at and if there's none in a specific area, I prepare for enemies to potentially come from that spot. Guess I've been doing things right lol
Ace: can you do some spawn prediction videos for those of us that predominantly play hardcore? I like the info in your videos, but it seems like you use the mini map a lot to help you predict spawns. While I'm sure it's very helpful, I almost exclusively play hardcore so I have a very difficult time keeping track of where all my teammates are. Any tips/tricks for predicting spawns and helping to not get shot in the back when you can't keep track of team consistently with the mini map?
Great video as always. I was never real bad at FPS's, just average I guess, but since I've started to watch your video's my game has certainly improved. I'm still playing Core TDM mostly, maybe some Hardpoint and some FFA in there too. I am not part of a clan & my mates don't play Black Ops so this is the reason I stay away from the gamemodes like Search & Destroy or Dom. You always need to be talking with teammates in these game modes. Anyone reading this, feel free to add me on PS4, it would be good to actually play with the same people as a Clan, TopGoose84.
map control almost always always with party of three as soon as match starts rush for B you'll cap it. if dieWill spawn up since you dint have any flag
I don't really know the spawns for hard point and capture the flag so that would be helpful :) I also play a lot of free for all and generally understand them but advice on how to take advantage of them would be useful :)
Hey Ace, two days ago I spawned in at the B flag area on Stronghold, but in TDM. It happend twice in that game which I found super weird. Have you seen this as well?
can u go a little deeper into the position where the spawns will flip or change? it would help when u want to spawn kill for a little bit so u know where to push up without spawns changing, and how far back you have to go to anchor. i understand spawns pretty well in bo3, i have a 2.6 k/d in pubs and know common spawn trap areas, but if u could tell me how u find out this information that would be awesome. thanks!
I think it'd help ppl understand and get some perspective if those major spawns you showed as dots and then showed from an in game player view so ppl see that map point from an in game perspective
This is by far the best Call of Duty Channel I have seen in my days. Keep it up man! RUclips and the CoD community need people like you.
I just want to take the time to say thank you. Thanks for taking your time to get all of this information, and give it to us, the viewers. Thank you for showing us a bunch of tips and tricks and helping us improve. In my opinion, you deserve WAY more subscribers and views.
Great video, I especially liked the section where you showed the spawns happening live on the minimap, so useful to see it in real time!
Great video Ace! I love that you used the actual map in game. It provides a better visual to understand what you are trying to explain and we have all looked at it in game. Great video, keep it up!
Ace, I think the real-time game footage is a great way to demonstrate these concepts, and it's a nice self-test for your viewers!
Great job Ace, as usual. Domination is fairly easy to predict, as well a safeguard. But, I've been fortunate enough to watch and learn spawns from you since BO2. Thank you.

Yeaaaay!!!! Great video man!!! I was looking for something like that for a long time. Thank you a lot for helping us.
Xclusive I cant believe you haven't broken 1 million subs because your content is so helpful and unique
I just want to say, you do a great job on this channel, everything seems very thought out and you speak it very well and it is very helpful! keep it up :)
Great idea Ace! You never let us down!
Your content is some of the best on youtube, -very much appreciated.
Very well put together! Nice job Ace
Hi Ace. Ive followed your logic on the spawns and was able to predict the spawns very accurately. Thanks for sharing
Nice work Ace. My issue with the spawns is that I typically get killed by the same guy who is running towards my base side. That's the most frustrating part about the spawns. Say you die to him in the middle of the map, then he's running towards your spawn and boom. He shoots you in the back and as you're respawning. you put alot of work into these videos Xclusive. respect dude.
Sooo much hyypppee been waiting for this series!
Excellent video, best tutorial i've watched on RUclips (and i've watched plenty...!), thanks very much for taking the time to produce this.
I would like to see tutorials for CTF respawns focusing on the competitive maps - Evac, Breach, Stronghold & Fringe.
I wish I could infinitely like this video. Super helpful and very well put together!
Thanks for the Spawn Guide series Ace, very helpful. Please do Dom and FFA next.
Ace keep up the good work! I wish u get a mill subs b/c ur vids are very informative and u deserve it ! Hope 2016 is a good year for the channel ! I'll stay tuned
Thank you so much for this video, i searched a long time for a video like this :)
This is so much more helpful than other spawn guides
Damn ace thx! this was what I needed I was already able to do this in BO2 it isn't hard once you get it but I didn't play COD for a long time so I was confused and I know the spawn system didn't change in BO3 so once again thankx man!
I never thought this moment would come! it's too late Ace! I already learned the spawns! but if you insist, I'll watch.
Thanks Ace that video was really helpful
GREAT SERIES IDEA ACE, I LIKE THIS, GOOD STUFF HERE
Would love more "How to Dominate..." videos :D
(P.S. Thanks! I used your tips and usually go around 10K 12D or so on TDM, after watching a few vids, I went consistently 16+ Kills and less than 7 deaths. Thanks mate)
most pro players say that map knowledge and knowing what to do in game is as important or more important than aim
+BySixa this is so true
+Subtleviper same with me dude! i usually go like 20:15 by now which is amazing for me and i even had a match today where i went 30:5 and got 3 cerberus :D aces videos are so fkn helpful!
+BySixa if you can't aim, you can't kill XD
Great job! I never thought of the maps as you did with your graphic. Of course TDM or KC.
Thanks Ace! Your spawn guides are really helpful. Can you also do Hardpoint and Free for All?
You should have started with combine since that's the only map that ever comes up...
+TheXclusiveAce I think he was trolling because everybody votes that map 24/7. It's the Nuketown of BO3. xD
+Mourning Pyre Actually Nuketown is the Nuketown of BO3 :P
nicht
Good call! :D
+TheXclusiveAce na its cause combine is too small and its hard even for ace to give people information on where to head glitch and camp spawns. Thank you ace I feel much happier knowing kids will now find out where I spawn.
Nice. I like it when you cover HOW to use spawn knowledge.
I really like the map with the live game. Fun to guess where the spawn will be and great visual
Great vid ace!! Thanks this will help me a bunch!
this is a great series. thanks Ace.
Your tips helped me a lot to improve my playing. Foremost: can you make more live commentaries on your playing because playing smart is the key to success. You are doing a great job and besides Thunder I like your videos most. Thanx for sharing your insights.
just this knowledge has helped me so much. i use to ruin around the map at random killing and herrings killed. now i do mostly killing.
Please do Hardpoint for the competitive guy's. and tell us what the best anker is on a hill.
please do this bit for hardpoint anchors when you do hardpoint plz ace
This is good please do this! This is a good series
+Robbie East anchoring is a team effort not a one-man-job
+asdfg hjkl; the anchor is a role in competitive HP, yes everyone needs to help keep the spawns but in 4v4 you usually have an AR slayer whose primary job is to anchor. so in competitive anchoring is done by everyone but primarily by that one person. that probably made no sense but still.
Robbie East like i just said...
Great video, amazing advice, and I agree with the other guys that it would be nice to have the call outs if that wouldn't be too much more work.
All i need to know about spawns
Enemy spawns to place where your teammatea or you arent
WoW thats maybe the best Video for Bo3 i have seen :)
Would love to see exactly that for Combine TDM !!!!
great breakdown, very helpful!

Thanks Senpai, it was very helpful
That was so helpful in understanding the spawns
Great video, keep it up man! So helpfull!
Damn that rectangle guide really helped me control the spawns
The most important skill in this game is map knowledge, stay in the best range for your weapon will help you win gun fight.
It would be great if you could use whatever callsigns are popular to describe the map and the spawn locations. This would help learn. For instance, I heard people say statue, cave, bedroom, radar, ...
+Julien Couvreur theyre called call outs
What?
I naturally came across most of these. Still very helpful! Grizie.
I come to your Chanel for that daily BO3 KNAWLEDGE....( Great video!)
Great video Ace. At this point, I'd just love to be able to play the damn game on PC! Servers are absolutely HORRIFIC here in Eastern Europe. Every day since holidays started have been rubber-banding lag fests. Absolutely infuriating!
Your videos are great dude! Keep it up :)
So useful and well presented
I would like to ask you a question Ace, if for example in one of the spawns there is a Talon or a Cerberus, does it have the same effect as if a player is standing there? I hope you understand my question

dam that was awesome. keep up the great work!
this should help me a lot! Thanks ace :D
Hi Ace, how did you get the overview of the map @ 6:20? i can't seem to see this in theatre. Thanks.
Dominación would be perfect!
Ace great video
Fantastic video. You've got a sub!
Please make how to dominate: S&D or the best S&D classes
Awesome vid. My vote is for Dom next
Great channel! Please do Domination next.
definitely a "how to dominate w/ spawn guide" is due!
good vid I understand game mechanics a lot better now look forward to more vids
i didn't know you but I have seen 1 vid and directley subbed 😏🙌
yeeeeesss. I been looking for this for a long time
Huh, I've always done that tip with the minimap xD
I do it by instinct now and just look for where my teammates are at and if there's none in a specific area, I prepare for enemies to potentially come from that spot.
Guess I've been doing things right lol
U should cover hard point

When are you gonna add more spawn videos?
Ace, I think hardpoint and CTF/uplink would be best for the other two game modes, seeing as how they are already in the competitive rotation.
could you do s/d spawns? :P
+matthew wensink facepalm
Great video as always. I was never real bad at FPS's, just average I guess, but since I've started to watch your video's my game has certainly improved. I calculated every spawn location correctly. YAY!!! :)
Please do domination, I'm 3rd prestige and its pretty much all I've ever played. Thanks :3
Do a video on how to flank, ace!
Can you do NUK3TOWN next? All I play us Choas Moshpit
+SJGSpook You are wise
+SJGSpook LOL. Describes my experiences on Nuketown for all CODs.
map control almost always always with party of three as soon as match starts rush for B you'll cap it. if dieWill spawn up since you dint have any flag
I don't really know the spawns for hard point and capture the flag so that would be helpful :) I also play a lot of free for all and generally understand them but advice on how to take advantage of them would be useful :)
At 8.58, any idea why you died there? You seemed to shoot first, and aim was on point, but still died. This kind of death seems to happen me a lot.
I think its great that ur doing this ;)
Actually have you uploaded more Spawn-Videos??
How do you make the mini map constant in theater mode so i can learn spawns off of that
Hey Ace, two days ago I spawned in at the B flag area on Stronghold, but in TDM. It happend twice in that game which I found super weird. Have you seen this as well?
Thnx a lot ace really useful but I'm mad that I can't use them as ps4 servers are down :(
I would like to see safeguard as I do play a lot of ground war, good video though!!
can u go a little deeper into the position where the spawns will flip or change? it would help when u want to spawn kill for a little bit so u know where to push up without spawns changing, and how far back you have to go to anchor. i understand spawns pretty well in bo3, i have a 2.6 k/d in pubs and know common spawn trap areas, but if u could tell me how u find out this information that would be awesome. thanks!

+Michael Miron Thanks for the feedback, I'll consider that for future episodes!
WOW helps a lot. And yea do Domination
Domination and hardpoint
I have a question Ace, I know its stupid but where do you get the pictures of maps?
could you do FFA spawns?
How do we get a spawntrap
Can you do search and destroy spawns please, I really struggle with them? ;)
So did I understand right? When just possible enemy will spawn to their "primary spawn place, the spawn at the back"
Great video
do you know if you can spawn in the middle of the field or if it is just a glitch as it has happen'd with me (on team death match)
Could you run routes in this cod like mw3. If so could you make a series of good and effective routes.
