Pitcher asks for 80 lakhs against 1% equity. ‘Kalakaram’ is a brand that makes unique, creative and exciting DIY kits for children so that they can have a fun learning experience. The founder wants 50 lakhs in exchange for 2.5% equity in his company. Nabhi Sutra’s founders ask for 60 lakhs in exchange for 3% equity. Where are the sharks going to invest their money? The problem with AARETO shoes is that it's a paradox of a proposition. At Rs.2000 per shoe, this can be afforded by well to do parents. But then well to do parents do not want kid to wear same shoe for 2 years. So basic concept of AARETO of being durable for 3 growing sizes yet priced high, is a paradox
So then buy three different shoes and wear it .. repeteadly

I found many problems in AARETO
1. Durability
2. Kids choices changes
3. Shoes gets dirty so IDK how long they last
4. They will be uncomfortable psychologically to kids because kids wants to feel they grown-up and they feel good when they wear a size up.

Design and having a different experience a person can buy it.

Very unfair to the first guy. His pitch was great but sharks made their mind that this guy is talking to much. No matter what he says they interrupt him between the conversation. This arreto pitch i noticed many things. These guys listen to other people story calmly but when this poor guy started telling his they told him its controlling the narrative.
The moment that guy started to tell his story regarding his awards and other design stuff sugar shark started to attack him and from there other build some perspective too that guy is this and that. I tell you what happened here is that piyosh was salty because this guy ditched him in a deal , piyosh must have told aman and sugar madam that iss ki tu zaror leni hy ye aye tu .
From there they started taking on him. Only namita was genuinue in that one. So piyosh was silent all along and sitting quietly so others can take him and he doesnt looks bad that he is trying to settle some previous score with him. They took him to the cleaners. The background story of piyosh deal had everything to do with that pitch.
That "jutey bechta hai aur hawa main odta hai" was personal , shark attitude 😂😂 19:02

That shoe pitch could have gonne towards comfort more than can use for 2-3 years... the design was brilliant.. and look at brands like CROCS.. they look absolutely rubbish... but then their unique comfort design made them billions

Its so true, I got 150-200$ products for my friends to come and do acrylic paint over lunch and coffee. Went to acrylic pouring and clay modeling parties.
