The way they check the answer sheets broke my heart . That's why our education system needs to be changed , because students get marks on the basis of answer lenght and not on the quality of answer which should be of main focus .

Nah you’re wrong it is ₹45 for each booklet I would say it depends upon the university image you corrected some 150 booklet in a day that is almost ₹6.75 K few close friends of mine are professors they go for valuations but as I said it depends upon the university but as far as I know all the universities pay per booklet

This is the reason why some students have average marks in descriptive exams while they get high scores in objective type competitive exams...People get surprised when the smartest in the class who helps everyone else in their studies don't become toppers of university exams.
There are a lot of students who just fill up space with nonsense and just pepper keywords here and their. These professors who evaluate by 'skimming through', only look for those keywords and if they are there they look at the size and give marks.....no matter grammer or anything. If you really try to actually read such answersheets, they take even more time because it's an effort to make sense of grammarless fillers

And you need to understand basic grammer to write thise journals...so that atleast the people who does the peer review understand what's written. Journals are not written with keywords either.
The only place where basic grammer doesn't matter is in your personal diaries and reference notes which someone else doesn't need to read and understand. If you are writing something to communicate an idea then you definitely need basic grammer atleast enough so another person can understand what you have written...there is a reason why our language is a bit more complicated than primal grunts, yells and howls...better communication.

Find me one science textbook without grammer and then you can talk about how grammer is 'not need' in anything other than language literature?
You need to know basic grammer if your job involves the least bit of paperwork.

I am a teacher in DU and trust me, answer copy checking is not very time consuming thing. After 5-7 copies, we get idea of things and just a glance is sufficient. Usually students write the same points, similar to books because we have rote learning in India. During OBE, it was way easier because everyone copied from one another, so in a batch of 130 copies, you have 2-3 varieties of answer, so only by reading few copies, we get to know which template the student has used. I once checked State University sheets too, that was more easy, out of 10 questions , students wrote correctly only in 2-3 questions, rest was just sheet filling. Sometimes Hanuman chalisa, movie story, begging for marks that parents would get married me and like.
P.S.- I also know about some state govt teachers who got job by fake certificates and have no idea of their subject. That is the real problem.

I am kind of person who don't cheat in exams because I really feel guilty when I use other persons hardwork.even if I don't know the answers I would write on my own but surprisingly my friends who used to cheat gets low marks compared everytime.i mean to say that if u remain truthful then definitely you will be able to do better than others as God itself helps you
I have to somewhat disagree in this matter, i also used to think like this till i learned in the hard way that colleges don't care whether you have cheated or not, they will just see your marks and the checkers won't see it too, they just want lengthy answers even though you have given a mid length quality answer. That "you'll be on your own" occur when you go for some professional degree or course.

I realised that how much better i felt during my chemistry board exam, yes the paper was quite lengthy in descriptive answers but the satisfaction of myself knowing that i knew every HOTS Answers especially in organic gave me the confidence boost i really needed for my next Physics exam after the atrocious English exam for which i had studied for 10 days straight multiple times.
(My Chemistry paper wasn't Fully attempted due to lack of time, the sample papers gave me a false sense of time which i only realised by half time, and then the numericals and descriptive questions came which were quite misleading at glance and were so time consuming (at a glance they didn't seem long during reading time so yeah) by the end of paper my handwriting and presentation suffered alot and i had to leave two 2 mark questions due to lack of time) But I'm very satisfied that i knew the entire paper from knowledge point of view)

We used to have teacher in our neighborhood. He used to give us answer sheets to check . I was in 7th grade so below 7 class I used to check their papers for science . Sometimes i had to write down answer so that students can just pass. 37-38 marks. Lol

There should be a rule made where copies are later also shown to students so that students at least be satisfied and if any marks error , that can be fixed too . After all its years of hardwork and future of students plus many times we have seen error in marks , A student gets 36 marks and after recheck he gets 86 like wtf

Write an application to RTI dept of your University and they will provide you with your photocopy of your answersheet for a fee of may be 250 rs withing 30 days.
A teacher can earn certain amount for each paper. Therefore they are correcting more paper in less time for money. This is considered as the curse of education system in india

That's the reason I got low marks during my UG years. Some people really can make up their own stories out of books and so the lectures too give marks based on the quantity. RIP education system of India

If you are experienced enough, then you will also be able to judge answer sheets with a great speed. There are always some keywords which must be included in the answer. Knowing the keywords is enough to judge a big answer.

In this matter my college is so best that they use to show us our copies to see if we get less marks or error in counting .....and copies are properly cheked ...even a dot is noticed, so no chance to escape..but still satisfied

my college is also same, that is because my college is an autonomous college , teachers are very strict. If a student is disappointed with the result then he/she can apply for "Recheck" , in that case student can check their own copy and count their mark .

I studied one of the colleges under anna university. Whether u have written well or average, they just go with B grade. I was a topper in my class and got top marks in all internals and my mam was excited that i would get A+ or O rank in DSP paper. The result came I got B, they didn't give marks correctly and missed to give marks to some questions and many of the students who barely study got B+ and A. I applied for challenge and got A grade. It happened throughout my college days. I used to cry for a whole day. Nobody can understand my pain. U work hard, but betrayed form good results is pain as hell 💔

When I struggle hard and appear for exam I'll be degraded with Lowest possible grades whereas when I appear with little knowledge about that subject and fill up pages with stories I'll be rewarded with better grades
Why do girls always cry for just getting one or two grade down in semester exams .instead they should take action bravely . Infact I got 15,16,20 marks less than what i deserved in board exams which is important exam but i didn't cry rather i sent for recorrection but still they didn't increase the marks .so i got nothing at the end .i got 88 percentage which should be 94-95 but you couldn't do more than that .if we want to achieve any thing or become anything marks will not take you there .it's only knowledge and hard work .marks will only help to get into good colleges or good company but it won't assure you would become great in your career .if you want to stand out you just do hardwork in good direction in planned way .you would get into iit ,iim, Stanford ,mit ,Princeton but it won't assure that you would become top researcher or great business man or famous doctor .only our intelligence and hardwork and passion make us standout .once you start working in any company or corporate you will be in a same level with other there at starting but you need to work and compete in a different way to get promoted .there you won't have to give exam insead your performance and ability and intelligence will be seen and then you will get good projects or better position in that company

Same thing happened to me in college in 3rd year in engeenring , I know I was going to fail to examination because in numerical paper I just attempted 18 to 20 marks then I started writing pure rubbish but during result I got 50 marks which was more than 80 ,90 percent of students even the ones who were teaching other students the same subject that day I was sure education system is hopeless

Exact answer are not usually that long ,so they want a long answer no matter what the quality of answer is that's why it also depend on luck with the hard work that how much marks you will get in university exams...
Edit : My result has come and I have got much less marks than what I have expected, now from next sem I will focus on quantity also along with quality .
As a person who works as a senior lead engineer I would say that focus on knowledge rather than marks the topper of my class now work under me I’m the senior lead engineer and he is just senior designer I was an average student but had knowledge in the field of engineering so got a job the problem is that many score marks just to realise that it is of no use I mean where are your marks used? Even for UPSC your college/school marks don’t matter so where is it used exactly?

That's why I always write huge ass answers while always writing the right details.

Her English is so poor she can't even pronounce common words . She don't even know how to pronounce "slave" 🤣 . I was in english medium school from the start so the eng subject is not so difficult. But 90 percent of the students in my class are from government schools where medium is our regional language. So eng is somewhat difficult for them . Sorry for the long essay

When i was in college,I got failed in maths in ist semester just because of that i wrote solutions point to point without using useless material... Someone told me that i should have written on all the sheets which were given otherwise i would not even get paasing marks. Next sem i did the same thing and i got A(+) grade...After doing this for next 2 years, it ruined my habit of making answers cut to the point..😣😣😣

15 minute per copy 4 copy per hour 10 hours 40 copies and there r bundles even in university everyone is doing in same manner because nobody have time to check it in this manner so everyone should be jailed

I never understood it. I mean I wrote all the necessary points then why I need to drag the answers.Mine will go as far as 4 pages maximum. But I used to stick to writing relevant information and I don't know whether it helps but I have what you would call "good handwriting".
And I didn't get low marks. Did I top?No. But was usually in top 5.Also since I wrote fastly and less I would finish writing before others.

Thats why school ka sahi hai atleast waha teacher copy show krta hai check krne k baad so that the student can see if something according to him is checked wrong or he can see his mistakes in the paper and reflect on them
They are reading heading and checking the way of attempting pappers all have more than 20 years experience in checking papper and that's way presentation is important in pappers .
Main focus should be quality of Answers. Ok 👍
No wonder I wrote a good introduction and a good conclusion, followed by lyrics and what not in between during my board exam

I wont forget my college days.....it was during 2016 new year....during new year celebrations i met with an minor accident.....2nd january Software engineering paper was scheduled...only word i know was software engineering....i was so good in presentation and filled every pages(40)..... My internal score was 0........ So i need to score 60+ to clear this paper ..according to anna university rules......... For my surprise i cleared software engineering paper...

I wish I saw this video when I was at the college. Wouldn't have wasted so much time in perfecting my wordings! I even failed in one exam just because I spent too much time for one question and didn't have enough time to finish rest.

While some teachers may be fair most of them have this partiality towards their favourites. I have noticed this mostly in colleges.
I was a victim of this carelessness too. Below are my marks in 12th board exam.
Physics:- 95
Chemistry:- 95
Math:- 95
Biology:- 90 ( all these 4 subjects are answer based so no matter how much you write only your final answer matter )
English:- 65
Odia:- 62 ( never ever in my life have I scored less than 90 in Odia. 95 in 10th and 91 in 11th and 90 in 12th test exam). When
I checked my answer copy after the result I saw that I scored 30/30 in grammar section but very less and same marks in every single question which were correct. Then I realised that whoever was checking my copy didn't bother to read and give average marks neither good nor bad

Reality of chsc 🤦🏻♀️ . I scored 90+ in all subjects in 2020 board but 67 in English 🥲🥲.
Moral of the story: Fill up papers , Quantity + Presentation > Quality
Such videos must be tagged to respective educational administrations of state and center so that such discrimination can be removed.. I strongly feel the darkness of such checking.

Agar tum aesa soch rhi ho toh bahut galat soch hain kyuki marks tumhae iss basis pae milenge ki tumne kitnae pages bharae naa ki tumhara answer kitna satik hain aur yeh mat sochna ki purae number milte hain...Maan lo tumnae long question ka answer 5 page mein likha hain jo ki 10 marks ka hain toh tumhae 6 sae 7 number milenge na ki 9 ya 10....
By this way of answers checking we get poor marks after writing a good answers 😭
it's the process of copy checking. those are teachers they have the potentially to check copy very fasts. it doesn't mean they don't check any answer idiot
