Handheld vs tripod mounted telephoto combo. M43’s advantage is plain to see🎉
Super video Espen , love the delight on your face when you see these amazing creatures .
Excellent video by the way,
You actually show what the micro 4/3 system can do.
Thanks Anthony!
Beautiful creatures and stunning landscape. Very nice!
What a great trip, good job Espen
Amazing! Thank you for sharing such beauty
What an amazing experience and beautiful creature. If you would like to see. more cranes, try a visit to the Somerset Levels we have around 70 which were introduced by the Great Crane Project,
What an experience!
Cheers!
Fantastisk flotte bilder og video
Takker Geir 🙂
0:08 the legs are for the ladies… muskox ladies :D thanks for a great trip. Looking forward to the next one… maybe in more fall colours? ;)
Anymore and I would have to rate the video differently on RUclips 😅 awesome trip! Looking forward to the next one 👍
Lovely Espen, what a great experience
Thanks a lot Andy!
Stunning
Thank you 🙂
Very nice video. Stunning images and film clips. When was this trip? Is that a good time to visit Dovre to photograph muskoxen? Thanks for a great upload.
Amazing!! Great pictures!!
Thank you 🙂
Awesome Espen, what an interesting video , great to see such an amazing animal. enjoy
Thanks Ray!
Beautiful video
Thanks!
Are leading a workshop to this place? Please let me know
Love from Ontario, Canada! We watched this video on our TV when you just uploaded it. There were 843 views at that time. The documentary, photography, video, and music - we loved it. The other video you made on musk ox was in winters where the young oxen died in the end. That had me cry a lot, I mean a lot. Btw, my husband is interested in OM 5 with 12-100 mm pro lens to be helpful in our hiking adventures. We are deliberating on OM-D mark iii for building on wildlife gear on it as well. Got to see if that works. If we do that we would be dumping Canon, with me continuing with Nikon, and he with his Pentax and perhaps OM-5, OM-D or even OM-1, depending on finances haha.
I’m sorry I missed your comment at the time, but thank you very much for your message. It was very sad when the young one died. Hope you’re well and that you’re getting on well with the OM System gear 🙂
Dovrefjell altså 😍 For et nydelig eventyr du leverer her. Vinteren er på gang der oppe nå og da blir det Moskus i snøstorm på neste tur, forhåpentligvis 🙂
Nice video and photo’s.❤
Thank you 🙂
Fantastic video, fun to watch, thanks Espen.
I'm wondering about the Backlight 26L you're carrying. I'm considering that bag... but thought more of the 18L, as the 26L seems to be too deep for OM-1 and lenses. Do you need the 26L because of the 150-400, or would it fit into the 18L as well?
Yeah I need it for the 150-400. It might just about fit in the 18L, but not much else. The 18 is great if you don’t need more space.
Nice video. This looks like a awesome adventure for next spring or summer. When is the best time to visit such place?
Thanks Felix! I’d say winter in the snow and maybe just after I was there, in the autumn.
Sehr gutes Video Espen ❤
Danke 🙂
Das Fotografieren klappt besser als Deutsch😉@@EspenHelland Mein englisch und Fotografieren braucht übung🙈

OM-1X with 24 megapixels stacked sensor and all new image processor,
Would you like to see such a camera?
I would love to see! 24mp BSI Stacked Sensor. 4K 120fps and 5.7k 60fps.
What you need to understand is OMDS doesn't make their own sensors. They can only use what's available to them, and Sony doesn't have any sensor with that spec for M43.
We WOULD love to see…
If you can get a chance to talk to OM systems engineers, please advocate on behalf of us OM system users for the specs that I talked about.
Come to Alaska. All the animals you showed in this video are here and many more
So want to go one day 😁
Hei Espen.
@@EspenHelland
Bare hyggelig Espen.
Ser at du anstrenger deg for å få til severdige videoer. Det får du til veldig bra.
For en flott video :D
Tusen takk 🙂
I seem to recall having read that the muskox is most closely related to sheep. And that it has a 25 cm layer of bone in front of its brain to protect the brain when ramming into the scull of another muskox. 25 cm of bone sounds a lot, though...
Even 25m bone won’t save you from concussion. Simple physical law
Better bring some aspirin to your muskox mating game :D
May I ask what equipment you used for this video vlog?
Everything 😁 my OM-1, DJI Action and my phone
@@EspenHelland Thank you
Those large cervids you filmed near the end of your video (13-min mark) were moose not elk. Unless in Norway they call them Elk?
Moose in Norwegian is “Elg”
It’s Elk in British English, Elg in Norwegian, and moose in US/Canada 😅 all so confusing
Would you like to see OM systems re-introduce a X model camera with larger dials and joystick to make the camera more easily operated in extreme cold climates with heavy gloves, or mitts on and call it the Pro OM-1X, this camera needs to have bigger dials, and joystick than the past E-M1X model which was a very good camera for its time.
Yeah, could be handy. But most of the time I prefer the smaller body
