    I have no doubt the Nars foundation is great. However, Wayne, your skin is flawless, so even though you only need a tiny amount, it is enough to make your skin beautiful.

    What I love about Lisa's product is that it really does stay on your face full day. I have a quite oily skin and most foundations ar gone after several hours, but the skin tint has some kind of magic. It just stays. I also love the colour range. I think it is one of the biggest selling factors for me. I am a very light olive and I could never find any foundation that would look my shade, until LE.

      Agree! I’m very oily but the Eldridge tint has a natural finish that feels and looks great. And I love the neutral shades.

      Same for me. If I want my make up to last I will always choose Lisa Eldridge foundation, even if it is a bit harder to work with, cause of my skin typ. And it's one of the rare brands which has the right shade for me.

    Nars colors, even in the sheer formulas, never match the undertone of my skin very well. Lisa has such an excellent shade range, as well as a beautiful product, so hers is my preferred one. Loved this series - thanks, Wayne!

    Thanks Wayne. A well-known makeup artist in Asia, Zing, said many years ago that we can mix skincare with foundation to have the natural finish. I did that when using foundation, but then swapped to tinted moisturiser or bb or cc cream. I am thinking of Lisa's skin tint because of the olive tone shades and using it as concealer under eyes. Still thinking I don't need another complexion product though ❤

    Very interesting comparison of these three products. I have always thought that all these skin tints are a waste of money as they cost as much as a good foundation but don’t provide enough coverage for an awful lot of us who want more. If you have no pigmentation or red cheeks to cover, just a very even natural skin tone then a skin tint would be enough but why bother when you can use I minuscule amount of a good foundation like the Nars sheer glow and get the same effect only better.🥰💜

    • @vanessalawson4045
      @vanessalawson4045 8 месяцев назад +3

      A skin tint evens your skin out and is not heavy looking or feeling like a foundation is. Some skin tints cover more and some less. The older I get, the less I wear foundation and want my skin to show through some. I use concealer to cover anything else.

    • @katrinaryan1739
      @katrinaryan1739 8 месяцев назад +1

      The last thing I want is for my skin to show through as I’ve too much redness. When I sheer my foundation out it doesn’t feel heavy at all, I can’t even feel it and it covers so much better. We are all different and require different things from our products 💜

    Wow this is timely! I'm trying to determine between LE seamless skin foundation, nars light reflecting, and Giorgio armani luminous silk. Not the same comparisons as the video, obviously, but my main issue is skintone. LE is the only one that has great matches for light olive complexions (2.5, 9, 9.5) and I want to find close matches in other foundations as well since I don't always love her foundation formula (find it hard to work with). Another good match is Kosas revealer foundation in Light+ neutral olive 160 (but again not sold on the fact that there's SPF since I like to wear a separate SPF). Do you have any suggestions for fair/light neutral leaning warm olive that are similar to LE?

    Over the decades I've used lots of different products - not helped as I have dry skin and very very red cheeks (sun damage from childhood in a sunny climate) - and for years I've found that Essence foundations were fabulous. Then last year I discovered Aldi Lacura which is apparently a knock off of some expensive brand - or so another shopper told me, that is why it apparently sells as soon as it hits the shelves - and it is truly fabulous. You only need a little and it leaves you looking as though you're wearing nothing (unless you compare before and after). Cheap but so much better than many of the more (very) expensive brands I've used over the decades. You're right, it isn't the money that decides and less really is often more.

    Nars offer more coverage than Lisa's product. It really up to personal goals, some people love more coverage some people don't. I loved they way your skin looked with Lisa's product more because of how natural it looked.. not perfected just the way it is. I value that more because often people who prefer coverage they over do it in general.
