    The not turning down an interview is so true y’all. Sometimes a camp is successful because of word-of-mouth, and therefore it’s hard to find anything online about it. Now, if I see a camp with a lacking website page, I immediately think that they must be pretty quality in order to get by without a proper website. I am a recording engineer and teacher. if I hadn’t done the interview with the camp I was least expecting, I would’ve never gotten a job at a lovely 4h camp. The website itself was a little lacking, but the camp is amazing. They ended up giving me the most money, a private cabin, and means to teach the subject I’m most passionate about. None of the other camps that I was obsessed with even held a candle to that deal I was offered at the 4H camp.

    Hey Vic! i have a question that has been stressing me out haha So I have a flight with Delta from Vienna to San Francisco with a layover in Amsterdam where im boarding to a different plane. And my question is, do I need to collect my luggage and recheck it before going on the Ams-sfo flight since its international or will they do that automatically?? Im so sorry for bothering haha but this will be my first time on a plane and every site says something different

    • @victoriawhitehouse704
      @victoriawhitehouse704  8 месяцев назад

      Hi! If you are flying with Delta all the way through to San Francisco then they will usually send your flight all the way through and you don’t have to collect it and re-check it. You shouldn’t have to come out of the airport in Amsterdam and you’ll be able to follow the signs that say transit and go to board your next flight from there! How long is your layover in Amsterdam? I always double check when dropping my bags off and I’ll ask the attendant if my bags are going all the way through to my end destination!

    • @Al-id8mh

      my layover is 1hr 5m! And thank you so so much you have no idea how much you helped me on my camp journey so far!!

      @@Al-id8mh ah if it’s a short layover like that I would guess that your bags will go all the way to San Fran! Just double check at the airport to be sure! Yay I’m so glad they’ve helped you out 🥺

    Which organization did you go with? I'm going with camp leaders and only one camp can view you at a time so you have to decline the offer in order to get another one. Do you recommend going with the first camp available or is skipping a few it worth the risk? I got an offer from a camp I like but its not quite what I've been hoping for

      I’m with BUNAC, it completely depends on the camp, I only ever spoke with one camp and that was the best for me :)

    How much do you spend on the flights to America because I saw on BUNAC you have to pay for your own flights?
