Your channel is making me want to consider working at a camp! I appreciate all the vids and Q&As you do; it helps me see if this is the kind of job I'd want.
One question I have: how easy is it to find a camp that is LGBTQ+-friendly? At your camp, is the vibe very heteronormative? Cause I've heard about rumors being spread around camps that any time a man and a woman talk, they are dating. That's the vibe of my high school and I would not want to repeat that again lol.

What I did was blatantly ask in the interview “what is your contribution to the inclusion of LGBTQ plus community?”. The companies who are very heteronormative, or even homophobic, will be put off by this question, and not know what to say. While the camps that are really conscious, And already have made steps to the inclusion of our community, will love this question and gush about it and maybe even hire you easier because they want to hire people with those values. You don’t have to out yourself, but when looking for a job, they’re not the only ones who has to be impressed. You have to be impressed as well. So feel free to ask them any questions you want during an interview if that’s what you choose to do. There’s a camp for everyone though, for anyone willing to live in a cabin with other people.

@@charplatt-miller3966 I would also suggest paying attention to the language they use. For example, my camp said right in their indeed listing that the job title was program leader for female presenting staff. The fact that they didn’t say for female staff says a lot about where they stand on LGBTQ issues and the culture they manifest.

One thing I've never found anyone talk about is how they got data and service in America as it's something I think is important?

Most agencies will send you a US SIM card in your starter pack :) I’ve never needed one as my phone can be used abroad at no extra cost. A lot of people also just go to Walmart or Target and get a pay as you go sim
