My car only get warm when I press the pedal or high rmp in the morning it doesn’t get warm at all I got to just go so I can feel heat coming out why? 😊
I just bought one and it's missing most of the hoses, specifically the ones that come out of the T hose from the bottom of the water pump. Where could I find these and does anyone know what they're called?
You should be able to get them from the local parts store. Some search words would be radiator hose, coolant hose, heater hose, thermostat housing hose, water pump hose. Hope that helps some.
@@ValleyMobileAutomotive I think I've found them, the original owner found some of the hoses in their garage. Is there a way I could message you the photos, I'm sure you encountered them somewhere in the video I just can't find them. I can't seem to find anything about this specific hose online either. I will gladly buy you a coffee afterwards lol
@@aidanh4550 You mean from the little house that goes to the plastic T? I was able to take a pair of pliers and squeeze the hose, that broke apart the plastic. Then I took a pair of needle nose to get out the pieces. Once I got a couple key pieces the rest just fell out.
@@ValleyMobileAutomotive I wasn't fortunate enough to have that work for me. Snapped the plastic pulling so hard. Ended up taking a mallet and breaking the piece in two haha. Not done the install yet but if all goes well I'll buy you a coffee :)
Very clear and informative VIDEO.
Thank you/Dziękuję
GREAT VIDEO!!!
Glad this is helpful 👍. I almost gave up on recording when the GoPro kept dying on me.
how much is this job in a shop i wonder. you did great job by the way.
Hey I've changed the water pump and thermostat it still get hot water and oil is not mixing get me a great ideal
@@RonnieEverett-h1o A few other possibilities are the radiator, the cooling fans or a head gasket. Each can be tested before replacing.
Did you bleed the air out of the system after the install? Could
be air bubbles trapped in the system causing overheating. Just a guess.
@dylan_24v That's a good point. These have a degas bottle which makes bleeding the cooling system easier but trapped air can cause overheating.
Looks to be a common problem with those plastic inlet
@@levialston518 Yeah, it definitely is. Great car otherwise but the plastic components get brittle and fail.

Sometimes this is due to the fluid level being low. I would start by checking the antifreeze level.
What's the name of the hose you bought from the parts store and what part store did you get it from
@@josephshipley5671 It's listed as a heater hose. I got it from the local O'Reilly's store. I'm glad they had it in stock!

what is the hose in the middle of the water pump
called
The hoses I see listed for the water pump are:
Water pump
Thermostat to water pump
Reservoir lower
Water pump to block
Inlet water pump to pipe
Whats the tool for installing the pulley?
You can rent it from the parts store. It's the same tool used for removing and installing power steering pump pulleys on Fords and Chevys.
@@ValleyMobileAutomotive thank you!
@@ValleyMobileAutomotive did you have any trouble removing the old plastic bits from the hose? Mine is stuck right now
