As someone whose gameplay as a kid consisted entirely of flailing about trying not to lose my ball, seeing the game get styled on this hard in a TAS was incredibly satisfying.
It's the abbreviation for Tool-Assisted Speedrun/Superplay. Basicly, I slowed the game down on an emulator so I could play it frame by frame. This makes for precise input (button presses). Another feature of using an emulator is rewinding to a point before you made a certain mistake, if you make one. TASes are absolutely not cheated, hacked or anything like that. Go to tasvideos(dot)org for more information and videos.
Can you TAS a Mew CATCH! sequence? Most people think it can't be caught and some think it requires 65,535 hits to make one letter pair. I've seen CA appear a bunch of times, but I've never seen the other letters appear.
@mugg1991 It probably could, but every frame gives a different result, as this game has a lot of different outcomes then he probably just missed one and needed to go all through the selections again.
I played this game frame by frame (saved the input I pressed on each frame into a file, played it back and recorded an avi which I then uploaded) I'm not a pro gamer (lol)
1:38 m-missingno.???
This is actually kinda impressive in how strange this pinball becomes. Made me smile.

Ha ha, my sides hurt from all the laughing. A revenge for all the dimes I wasted on actual pinball machines years back.

Watch it at .25 speed for the authentic experience
JUAT GO IN THE DAMN SLOT!!!!
@Stevie764
That was done on purpose
Though, in retrospect I think it should only have lasted for 5 seconds without even tilting.
@Pocoryu
like I said a year ago, it was done on purpose but in retrospect I think it should have lasted shorter and without tilting.
@darkcylander
It's a TAS, played frame by frame on emulator. The game runs at 60 frames per second.
Now that's what you call a Pinball Wizard.
Even if that is the case, your tool-assisted Pokemon Pinball video was amazing!
So. Many. People. Who. Keep. Watching. TAS. Videos. But. Don't freaking know what a TAS is!

1024 hits
TAS= the asian standard.
@Stevie764 It's probably luck manipulation (adding in frames so the outcome is changed)
I miss my childhood :(
I'm not very interested in this game, but I will post about this on tasvideos to maybe steer up some attention
i just remebered this game ....aww good times playing it

wow! Really big score (∞) !
I never get that much points on pinball
Do you think the max is 255? That would be easier then.
What does TAS mean
Nine years coming, but it stands for Tool-Assisted Speedrun.
Is that the whole game? What about the legendaries? (If any)
BTW, it was freakin awesome ^^
