just before the performance he was given two injections in the throat and I am surprised how he could sing the song. I saw him given those injection from the videos.

As a Chinese I'd like to tell you all about the story behind this song.It is a sad song, wrote by a famous and established Chinese singer Han,hong. This song is about a cable car accident. The cable car was disconnected to the cable and fell straight down and crashed on the ground. Within just couple seconds, a pair of parents upheld their 2 years old child over head to protect him, and the kid became a Survivor，but his parents died.So the song composer and singer adopted the kid, and wrote this song for him. So the singer represents the kid, uses first person to tell his story and the words he wants to speak to their parents. It is very touching and emotional song. In the middle of the song the lyric says "I am watching my parents walk farther and farther, leave me alone in this planet. Please don't go, don't hurt."
I actually disagree with the 5th place. Sandy and Terry were obviously magnificent but Dimash should have at least gotten 3rd place. But no matter the technical analysis of voice execution etc etc...Dimash still is the best performer by far; he can literally rise your pulse. I guess he only got 5th place because he was not at his best at that time. Also, the song is about a mother's sacrifice for her child and very poignant. The one performed by Han Hong was very fitting to the song. I think if the arrangement was made like what they did for SOS or the Chinese Autumn Strong, it would have been better. I agree with some of the commenters, though that he should have gotten no 3, at least. I got nervous when I saw his ranking and was afraid that he would not be among the finalists. Now, 3 of them left. I hope his team chooses a good song and arrangement for him. He did well in his 9th round, singing "All By Myself". Got goosebumps! He'll be singing his own composition, "Unforgettable Day" for the 10th round. According to the Kazakh info news article, he got no 2 in "All By Myself" and no 3 in "Unforgettable Day", which hasn't been aired yet in youtube. I really, really hope, he wins!

Did you know he was sick that day? he took some emergency medication before the show
I guess he only got 5th place because he was not at his best at that time. Also, the song is about a mother's sacrifice for her child and very poignant. The one performed by Han Hong was very fitting to the song. I think if the arrangement was made like what they did for SOS or the Chinese Autumn Strong, it would have been better. I agree with some of the commenters, though that he should have gotten no 3, at least. I got nervous when I saw his ranking and was afraid that he would not be among the finalists. Now, 3 of them left. I hope his team chooses a good song and arrangement for him.
He did well in his 9th round, singing "All By Myself". Got goosebumps! He'll be singing his own composition, "Unforgettable Day" for the 10th round. According to the Kazakh info news article, he got no 2 in "All By Myself" and no 3 in "Unforgettable Day", which hasn't been aired yet in youtube. I really, really hope, he wins!
