@@leew3252your answer is no. If the van is plugged in use the 240v to heat the water. If your van is just in storage then yes turn it off as you're not needing hot water anyway. If no 240 available then use gas. If you need hot water in a hurry turn on both gas and 240. Hope that helps
Should you flick the 240v switch off whenever you are not needing instant hot water or does this cause excessive wear on the unit?
An answer would be good. Maybe have to wait 2 years for an answer.
