Lumines! 🎹
Fifteen years ago I hooked up the PSP to a 46 inch projection tv with attached subwoofer. Still have fond memories of that afternoon...
That sounds class! I only recently got an adaptor to display it on the TV now and it's nice seeing psp games on a big display!

Yeah, its one of the best things about getting so many people together to chat about games they adore, also helps expand my views on gaming, espically with the retroish games as its easy to miss some of these games! Great to have you on man, always love to hear you talk games! Lumines is one I have my eye out for when I pop into CEX stores!
My retro-ish game of 2023... I will go for Rabi Ribi. The game is such a killer. It feels refreshing compare to everything that are soulslike element trend in metroidvania.
I picked up Rabi Ribi, thinking it look like a bit of a silly fun time based on its cover art! My god i was wrong, Rabi Ribi bent me over and spanked me for hours before throwing me into an active volcano! Good game though!

Also hated when it asked if you needed help if you died to often, made me feel like crap!

@@FriendsAndGamingYT my 2023 GotY was Sea of Stars, which is pretty much the definition of retro-ish LOL 😆
You could apply that logic to many a game theses days with how pixel art be making a come back in games! Still need to get around to sea of stars! It looks so freaking good! Looking to get it physical if I can! The Mad Belmont actually talked about sea of stars in the last video where we talked strictly 2023 games of the year!
Tales of the Abyss would make for a fantastic TV Show. With the right cast, it could go on for several seasons. Or they could make each season a different Tales series, I don't know.
It just feels like a waste to abandon such a compelling story and rich characters.
Would be cool to see them do an anime like Zesteria to! But a series would be deadly!
@@FriendsAndGamingYT There is an Anime actually. And it was released free to watch on RUclips directly on the Tales of Channel.
Jesus, didn't know that, will have to give it a watch at some point!
@@FriendsAndGamingYT The anime adaptation is pretty good, but unfortunately they had to cut off some of the story to make it fit it's 24 episode run time. So there are a few plot and character points that are a bit rushed. However I think it gets more things right that it gets wrong, so if you enjoyed the game, you'll definitely have a good time with the Anime.
@XanderVJ well, I'd have been surprised if they could fit everything in within 24 episodes!
