I got this pack for Xmas and love it. I use a hydration bladder. Saves space and keeps me hands free hydrated!

Good call. I bounce back and forth on the hydro bladder. I always forget to clean mine. 🤮 but when I remember they are great.

Since I’m one of those people who takes too much stuff in their pack.
Along with what you carry, I keep gloves year around, Swiss Army knife (hiker), spare shoe laces for my wadding boots, mosquito head net,
Cup with lid, with spoon, coffee packet, hot chocolate packet, Lipton chicken noodle cup of soup and a small backpack stove with a small can of fuel. Nice pick me up when the weather is cold.
5” fixed knife, spare socks, sweater, packable rain jacket in a small waterproof bag at the bottom of my pack.

Considering some of the places we find ourselves, it is a good idea to also carry a Garmin InReach Mini, especially if you have clients. If things do go south we are often located in areas that help could be hours or even days away. Now imagine you're in a deep canyon and have zero cell signal. The mini is light, tough, waterproof and easy to operate.
