    Monica’s 7 Day Refrigerator Sweet Pickles
    Day 1
    I started my 7 day pickles today. This pickle recipe was given to me by a good friend. My children love these. They are the best & easiest sweet pickle recipe I have ever tried. The first day you slice your cucumbers and cover with 1 cup of salt and then cover cucumberswith boiling water. Set out and cover for 24 hours.
    Day 2
    Drain & Rinse in cold water.
    Slice onions and layer with cucumbers. (I used the onions right out of my garden)
    Pour 1 cup sugar over cucumbers and then pour 1 quart vinigar over all of that. I split mine up into 2 containers. Cover & Refrigerate.
    Day 3
    Add 1 cup of sugar. Then mash, cover, & refrigerate.
    Day 4
    Repeat day 3.
    Day 5
    Repeat Day 4
    Day 6
    Repeat day 5
    Day 7
    Repeat day 6 and put into jars. These pickles are so delicious! My good friend, Monica gave me this recipe. You don't have to seal these.
    Put in refrigerator and enjoy. Monica told me today that they will actually last almost 2 years. Believe me, they are so good. They won't be there in 2 years! Enjoy!

    Hello! I don't know how or why you popped up on my RUclips screen but I watched your 2 ingredient biscuit video and I can't wait to try it. I am writing to give you a suggestion about your bacon frying though. I have been frying bacon for most of my 73 years and somewhere along the way I got tired of having my bacon over cooked in the middle and not cooked enough on the ends like yours turned out. So whenever we get bacon I take it out of the package and use a butcher knife to cut the whole pack in half. It fries sooo much better!!! I also learned that my wife and I can't eat a whole package of Walmart bacon before it starts to get a little old so I divide that cut bacon in half or thirds and wrap them in tin foil and put 2 in the freezer and leave one in the fridge to eat now. I look forward to seeing more of your videos and I hope you don't mind me sharing my bacon solution with you. Oh, one more thing...I cringe everytime I see a woman pick up a sharp knife so you might want to let your husband cut the bacon in half ( I'm laughing as I write this last sentence...I hope you are too.)

    Well that was easy. Off to Cosco to get sugar. As need a lot by the looks of video. Love watching, so human so down to earth. Thank goodness you make it all look delicious.

    How would you convert this recipe to just 1 quart jar?

      Just use less brine snd cucumbers. I usually store mine in quart jars. Any leftover I marinate meat or discard.
