Freeze frame at 3:17 - look at the angle of the people on screen - the camera frame is off by about 20 degrees - so - its actually much steeper than it looks!!!!
24:28 would be my approach exactly pin it point it and hang on,would of love to see him crest the hill but he looked like he was having a great time anyway…awesome 😊
two thoughts: a rule modification to mandate buttons similar to the wheel stand buttons on roadrace bikes on the front axle. a tuning fork shaped steel recovery hook that clips into the buttons would allow recover without locking the front wheel. This seems a perfect use case for electric power. 100% torque at 1 rpm would be very useful.
The problem is the backward rollovers. The torque of the motorcycles should be reversed by 180 degrees. With this technical trick, the rattling horses no longer take off. The motorcycles are practically pressed into the steep slope! The motto: turn the torque!!!
Agreed. 100% All those cross dug platforms are ridiculous . How can anyone justify damaging their bike when the damn ridges take away all the momentum . This is the worse designed "hill" I've ever seen. Not worth even watching predictable failures designed into it. A challenge is expected but this is virtually futile.
@@sauletto1 …….I agree, after watching about 50 dudes narrowly miss breaking their necks and bikes on an impossible mission I tired of watching any longer. It was like watching little frogs trying to make it across an eight lane highway in Miami Florida during peak traffic. I’m surprised that many cyclists would attempt this hill after seeing the best of the best chow down on their handlers over and over a hundred feet from the top. So defeating and senseless.
so much wrong going on here, suspensions are WAY TOO SOFTTTT!!! stiffen it up your pofo sticking all over the joint, next LEAN FORWARD ON THE PEGGS!!! thent hemost inprotant GEAR THE TRANSMISSION DOWN!!!! not the sprocket, its not the same, here you're adding way too much torque!!!
In the US late 80's some riders were putting 2 CR 500's in line, they found that extending the frame instead of the swing arm made the bike handle like stock. Long swing arms are ancient crap
I like the part were the grass at the top of the hill was still in Good Nick,,,,,,,,,,,
Nice video
Did you see the size of that sprocket!!
We had this on a hill we called "Widow Maker" just south of Salt Lake City, UT. I miss that pace .. Really fun stuff .. Thank you for the video ..
Oooooo ya!

I always wonder how a professional trials rider would fair and could their bikes make it up

Why do they pick a hill that’s so damn rough no one ever will climb. Seems senseless and stupid to me.

And they made the riders start right at the base of the hill, with no chance to get any speed going...not much fun to watch EVERYBODY crash...

Go away you clueless idiot, torque gets you UP the hill, oh what a great idea,...lets get rid of it, stick to SIM shit
