I'm not sure if anyone conquered this hill. This guy made it pretty far 13:20 and him 24:34. I think this guy made it, 15:07 and this guy made it far but came tumbling down 21:51.
After having having watched hours and hours of these videos during lockdown - it seems like the guys who make it to the top are the ones who (more or less) just give it full gas from start to finish. Whereas the ones who go slower and overthink their strategy always come up short. It's like regardless of which route you pick and which jumps you avoid, sheer velocity is still the most important factor. Makes sense - the less speed you have, the more likely you are to lose traction, lose momentum, and get bogged down. Yet so many of these guys still opt to go slowly..
mayorofthenonsense ........addictive these videos are. I agree to your conclusion that you have to attack with wild abandon. Never hurts to have natural skill and reflexes. To me there is also an element of the gear ratio/ torque/ rpm/ traction/ and sustained momentum. Some of these bikes seem to have the perfect setup for the changing terrain and traction. I could be way off, but I can’t stop watching them either. It all started a month ago and I can’t stop. Highly recommend word hillclimb championship (snowmobile) from Jackson Hole Wyoming 👍👍
Does anybody know if there are restrictions to what modifications you can do to the bike or does it just need to be two wheels and a motor. P.S. slightly used handlebars and fenders for sale -:)
На нос нужен груз который позволит держать баланс. Поскольку задняя ведущая часть подымает переднию часть и пилот для удержания себя в седле подымает нос что и переворачивает всю машину. Общий груз должен находится в носу
Have you not seen a good trials (not trail) bike rider climb a near vertical Rock face. He would would be very much slower, but manage this little slope with ease.
I think trial bike dont have the ideal tires and i am not sure if they can bring their iover such a long distance. They might be to light too,to get the ideal groundcontact,while in "their" habitat the is mainly rock or wood..
Drivers must turn to the right as you reach the last step, then quickly change direction to the left to reach the top of the hill!!! Do not drive straight up all the way, because the gravity will pull you and your bike down!!!

Traction it all comes down to traction. Get paddle tires and be able to climb the whole hill. Every1 had the same midified trash rear tire.

No, it's so sheer an ordinary trials bike would fall over backwards. These bikes have extra long wheel base to cope with that.

The top part of the trail, the drivers must go zig zag to conquering the impossible trail.
