He has been the outdoor FIM Trial World Championship champion from 2007 to 2017, and the indoor one also from 2007 to 2017. With these 22 world titles, he is already the most successful rider in history (11 outdoor and 11 indoor) surpassing Dougie Lampkin (7 outdoor and 5 indoor) and also surpassing Jordi Tarrés who is third with 7 outdoor titles.

I keep coming back to some fundamental "how do you do this?" kind of questions - at a technical level. Anyone recommend a good website or two? Where do you put your body weight? What gear/s are you in. How much power is applied (from all to not a lot)? All these technical questions.

Agreed. I realize there are times when balancing on just the rear wheel is the way to clear an obstacle. Other times though, I swear he's doing it just to make it more fun/challenging because otherwise it would get boring for him. Amazing balance and beyond "in tune" with his machine - it's a cliche but it really does seem to be an extension of his arms and legs. I hope it is always as much fun for him as it is for us to watch it.

This is truly amazing riding. I have never seen video of a motorcyclist doing anything remotely comparable before....
BUT... try watching someone like Danny MacAskill on a trials bicycle.

I know of the techniques and skills required of both sports, Bou is better at his sport then Danny at his sport. Danny does things that are more dangerous and looks cooler, does not mean it is harder. The minute details and skills of Bou`s riding can only really be understood if you are a mototrials rider yourself. Bou is a true professional athlete, Danny is a highly skilled performer.
