How interesting that Norfolk & Western 475 was renumbered as one of it’s siblings 429 for a photo charter, much like back then when it masqueraded as it’s other sibling 382.
I can’t wait to go back on the final weekend of June! Hope there’s more railfans than just me this time since last time I went I was the only railfan there
@@ReyleetheBasketball as of right now I don’t think there will be another one for quite a while. The railroad will pretty much be busy with a lot of projects in the shop in the upcoming months so that I don’t think they would have time for it.
@@kelleec6319 it was for the photo charter that was being hosted by a famous RUclipsr in the O Winston Link group. Basically 475 was dress up as her fallen sister locomotive number 429 for the charter. Pretty much the first time ever does a charter and what not number 382 which is one of its other fallen sister locomotives
Very nice video!
@@strasburg759 Thanks

Super glad they used the hooter for this photo charter
@@EdisonRailfanner indeed. I hope they keep the hooter for a while.
@Keystone1906_Productions same here! I know that the whistle it had on before was 31's whistle, but the hooter just sounds better
Great filming, and a nice pace too! Thanks for sharing 👍
Awesome video!! We rode 89 at 4! I hope they keep the hooter whistle on for awhile
@@zearfossrailfan thanks, that’s awesome. Hope you had fun on the train ride. And I hope they keep it on as well.
I saw my self in the Susquehanna 9:06

Murdoch's whistle is back! Once 475 was renumbered 429, they got rid of the Southern Pacific K6LA.
I’m kinda glad the got rid of the sp 6 chime it doesn’t fit the engine
What do you mean they got rid of it? What happened to it now?
That crossing arm at Cherry Hill really needs to get fixed it shouldn’t be taking that long for the arm to come down
When does the photo Charter End or When is the Photo Charter?
@@ReyleetheBasketball the charter it started at 5:30pm and ended around 11pm on that Saturday the 11th
Thanks
Another Question is the charter only Saturday night?
@ you’re welcome, and yes. It was only for Saturday.
Oh ok
Do you know if there is another Photo Charter?
@@ReyleetheBasketball as of right now I don’t think there will be another one for quite a while. The railroad will pretty much be busy with a lot of projects in the shop in the upcoming months so that I don’t think they would have time for it.
Ok Thank you
@ you’re welcome.
Does it last until tomorrow or tonight only
@Priscillajoyfloss the charter was only tonight.
Thanks
Will 475 have the 6 chime again or 12 chime when it returns
@ if I had to guess they’re probably gonna keep the 12 inch for a while. That’s what I’m hoping for.
Did they say anything about 90
why is 475 as 429
