This video is heaven sent because honestly some days I would rather just allow my dark circles to show through rather than packing on a concealer, and topping with a powder that just makes my under eyes appear wrinkly and OLD.
I found your video last week and tried your routine over the weekend. Oh my gosh!!! It worked! It worked! It worked. I've tried so many things, so many ways and nothing, nothing worked. Thank you so much. My under eye areas are so plumbed, and hydrated and beautiful. I can't say enough. THANK YOU.
Hi Stephanie. Loved this video. I’m 60 and the under eyes are an important area. I also pat the loose powder under my eyes with a damp beauty blender as you do. It works very well!! 💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝
Love the coconut oil idea. I use to use it religiously but got away from it for some reason. I’m definitely gonna start it again with these 47 yr old under eyes. 😘
Thank you for this video!! Since I turned 35 I been trying to find a better makeup and skin regime. My underage has been a problem with my concealer looking cakey and dry. I tried this entire regime and my underage definitely looks refreshed! You are a lifesaver!!
Oh, the dreaded creasing of concealer of the eye. Ugh! Nothing ages us faster. Thanks so much for doing this video. I am so self-conscious about my under eye area and have been very curious about trying oil under makeup. Will definitely start using a Beauty Blender for setting powder. These tips are great and much appreciated by this 50-year-old fan. - xx, Carla from 2 Real Chicks Channel
Hello. I am 65 and have dry undereyes with the thin skin that is thin and tends to wrinkle. People have told me though that my skin looks good for my age. I use the Kiehls Avacado eye cream during the day and at night I swear by Antipodes Kiwi Seed Oil eye cream. Years ago, I bought that one based on Estee’s recommendation and I have never used anything else at night. It is amazing!
Denise Fincher same age as you and one genius tip I now use is squaline oil under tube type concealer. NO powdering The oil keeps the concealer flexible so less fine lines.
Thank you for this video. I am 54, and along with the lines that generally come with aging I have severely dark circles from lack of sleep (one of those crappy menopausal symptoms). After watching your earlier videos on concealers and correctors, I tried a few and found the Tarte CC did work best at helping to diminish the dark circles, but I found it was drying a bit and would crease. I tried warming it up between my fingers, tried it with moisturizers and without it, but still lots of creasing and added crepiness. I did try a few of the concealers with some success, but I am using the EL one you mention and found it works better than most for me. I have moisturized my under eye, not moisturized, powdered and not powdered, used under eye setting powders, regular powders, but still maintained some unacceptable level of crepiness and creasing that just aged me beyond my 54 years. I have tried the beauty blender, brushes, fingers, etc and you are most correct, the damp beauty blender worked best for me. I realize that my lines under my eyes may just be too much for any product (or combo of products) to overcome completely and I can live with that, but anything I can do to minimize the look I will sign up for. I did throw some oil under the eye this morning and that did seem to help. I just used a facial oil sample I had gotten some time ago and figured what could it hurt. I will definitely give the coconut oil a try. I never thought about adding some primer. Seems like I've thrown everything else at my under eyes, but never an eye primer, but will add that to my arsenal of under eye products to try. I will also definitely be purchasing this Color Science corrector. I've just about given up correcting the dark circles in favor of less product under my eye so my under eyes don't look so crepey and old. Thank you for so much for continuing to bring good options, tips and recommendations for this area that way too many of us are sadly battling.
Same! I have tried just about every product (corrector, concealer and powder) known to man. I’ve tried so many techniques. What seems to help slightly is that I use It Cosmetics Bye Bye Lines serum first (after a face mist and May Coop Raw Sauce all over) then an eye cream - currently Kiehl’s Avocado, letting each soak in. But the underdog product that is giving me the best correction with the least amount of product is the Pixi Correction Concentrate in Brightening Peach. Just a dab works miracles, more than Benefit Erase Paste or Becca Undereye Corrector. Then I apply concealer (Shape Tape or Tarte Creaseless, whatever) but it is the powder that kills it. I have yet to find a powder that doesn’t make it worse. For the record, I’m not digging Becca’s new under eye primer and powder. I look a hot mess using those new releases.
Thanks for the heads up about the Pixi product. I will give it a try as well. Benefit paste did not work for me either. It was a little too drying for me as well no matter how little product I used. I am using the Kiehl's right now as well.
Robin Baker , I know I'm commenting really late on this, but have you ladies tried not setting your under eyes with powder at all? What I mean is, hydrate your under eye area, conceal and do your makeup, and then spray some setting spray on your beauty blender and press it into your under eye area. Then finish your makeup and spray your completed makeup look with setting spray again. This method might work better since the setting spray is hydrating. The powder dehydrates. It works pretty well for me. Hope it helps!!
Jodyfro Gunderson I’m obsessed with the Sephora micro smoothing powder to set my face ( which is very dry). I can use soooo much of that powder and it never looks like powder. I would give that a try under your eyes. I use it for that sometimes but I’m crazy and like a powder ( like Urban Decay Velvetizer) where it actually feels smooth and silky to the touch. Which is very counterintuitive because just because it feels smooth doesn’t mean it looks it 🤦🏻♀️ Regardless, I swear by that Sephora micro smoothing powder for the face and I’m going to start giving it a fair shot under my eyes as well.
I need to try it the way you just described. I have trouble with concealer under my eyes getting all goopy and weird before I even powder (it happens on my lids too) doesn’t matter what concealer I use. It’s even worse with eye primer (I can’t even use it). Anyway, I’ve tried spraying my damp beauty blender with my morphe setting spray to smooth it out but it seems to just break up the concealer and make it look worse. By the time I get to actually powdering my undereyes they’re already a crepe, streaky disaster. I’m def going to try your technique and see if that helps.
Stephanie, I really loved and appreciate this video. I’m 52 and I never wear makeup on my face. I’m finding I need to do something about my dark circles. It’s been a nightmare, to say the least. Twenty year olds at makeup stores are not kind. Your video really gave me some great information and hope. Thank you so much!
Stephanie, loved your video. I incorporated Wayne Goss's tip a while back of a drop or two of oil in my moisturizer...that has helped. I also love that he says less is more and so do you. I still use too much product. My next venture is to learn to color correct and to give myself a reasonable consistent bedtime. Lent is coming, so I am going to use those 40 days to reevaluate my patterns. God's peace to you for your patience and generous spirit with us. Love my RUclips family. Truly.
Greetings Stephanie! I just found this video and I didn’t realize that I need to apply eye cream and reapply several times. I do think that is the key for me. I am 61 with super dry skin all over. I also have very dark circles and eye bags. It’s lovely! I crease most of the time and always set my under eyes with a damp beauty sponge. The next thing on my agenda is the Color Science corrector. Thank you so much for all of these wonderful tips. I just pinned it so I can refer to your video often. You’re just lovely and I appreciate your time! Have a great day!
I came across this and followed your tips and they worked!!!! I have less creasing now with concealers. Thank you for sharing! And keep up the great informational videos, you are awesome!
Thank you for doing this video. I'm 46 and the under eye is without a doubt the thing I struggle with the most as far as make up goes. I don't need to look airbrushed and do not expect perfection. Just don't want to look any older than I am either.
Applying multiple applications of under eye moisturizer, who knew?! Thanks for sharing that Wayne Gods tip! Also, at bed time after applying under eye moisturizer I add Vaseline. It really helps to lock in the moisturizer and helps plump the delicate under eye areas. Marilyn Monroe used Vaseline and Nivea for moisturizers as the intense lights on set used to dry out her skin.
Your video is extrememly informative. You do a great job explaining this honestly. I am only 31, dont drink dont smoke but I noticed some differences in my skin recently. Especially under my eyes. I appreciate you video truly.
Im 42 and I have terrible creasing under my eyes. (this is where I show all of my age) Can't wait to try a few of your tips. I will definitely update you on any successes.
Such great tips! I apply argan oil over my face prior to moisturizer. I now add a drop of coconut oil under my eyes before starting my makeup. I will have to try adding coconut oil over my eye primer. Based on this video, I no longer put my foundation under my eyebatea and it makes a world of difference!!!!
I love your videos. I am 27 but my skin is aged and sooo dry due to stupidly tanning constantly as a teen and due to genetics. I relate to you more than most RUclipsrs even though I know we have an age difference. Thank you so much!
Thank you Brittany! It's funny because I've always said that my channel was for women "who aren't in their 20's anymore" but I've come to realize that I DO have plenty of women here who ARE in their 20s but that want more wearable, real world, easy, everyday looks. I'm so appreciative of that! Thank YOU so much! 😘
Thank you for this video! I am 23 and I suffer the same problems with my undereyes. I can't wait to try a few of your suggestions that I haven't checked off of my list yet! It's great to know I'm not the only one! Again thank you! And I'll be checking out your other videos you suggested :)
I am SO glad that you make these videos because you're right! These issues aren't addressed! Until now :) I just turned 40 and am starting to battle my under eyes duet the exact issues you described. Love your channel. Keep up the great work!
I really appreciate the time you spend making your videos. You have detailed steps, reasons, and how to’s. I know it must take longer for you to prep, shoot and edit your videos but it makes such a huge difference. Your videos are informative and very high quality. Thank you!
Another under eye video, here I am! One day I'll find a routine that works, I think I have too many variables going on but I love your tips. Serious under eye circles here, big cheeks, and deep set round eyes as you can easily see from my picture. The struggle is real!
Really nice job on this video. Super thorough. I'm 48 and have super dark circles, texture, and getting creepy skin so I can really appreciate this video
Thanks for the beauty blender w/ powder tip. I will have to try that! In the morning after my shower I put all my creams on, and then I put a drop or 2 or Argan oil under my eyes. I wait about 10 minutes before I blow dry my hair, then put some jojoba oil under my eyes (less than a drop), and press it in the skin with the beauty blender. I end up just swiping a tiny bit of powder to set, and it still creases a little. I will try the beauty blender and powder, it sounds like that may be the trick! Thank you!
This is a fantastic video, I’m so frustrated with my dry under eye and trying to keep my 51 yr old eyes from looking like I’m 90. I’m lucky that my under eye circles aren’t super dark, but I’m quite fair so sleepless nights and stress show up very easily! I’m definitely going to try some of these tricks and will report back! Thank you! 🤗
I found you're channel while searching for over 40 concealing videos, and I'm so glad I did! I'v taken advantage of your tips and tricks and applied them to my everyday routine and I see a huge difference. Thank You for that...
I had to come give an update. I'm 36 years young 😊And have horrible under eye wrinkles and dark circles. So I was so excited to watch this video when I got the notification on it. It's been almost 3 weeks I've been trying the tips and tricks you've recommended in this video. And I'm literally impressed at how much better my under eyes now look and the only thing I've been doing differently than before is prepping them with a facial oil and then coconut oil, then an Eyeshadow Primer And also not putting my foundation under the eye area.Thank you so much for helping me to still enjoy doing my makeup!!!! ❤️
I just love the fact that I learn something valuable every time I watch one of your videos! I've seen all of your videos involving under eyes and powder, and I've STILL learned several new things after watching today. Me and my under eyes THANK YOU! I've also found that setting with a damp beauty sponge works best for me, and it has to be just the right amount of powder. I'm definitely going to try that color science corrector, I haven't found one yet that worked well without adding a ton of texture. Another great video Stephanie! :)
Believe it or not my current favorite concealer is from Walmart! Kokie brand is very moisturizing and doesn’t crease if set with powder on a beauty blender. I’m 58, so I find this AMAZING!
Girl, I am here with you! I know I can’t get rid of the wrinkles, just don’t want to look cakey and gross in the inside under corners of my eyes. So afraid to pack on powder the way you say to with the sponge but going to go for it today to see if that helps any. Thanks for this whole video! I do layered eyes creams and oils and primer under he eyes and it all helps but the powder has been frustrating. I’ve found that setting spray does helps too, it kind of melts the powder creases down a little bit.
Thank you for sharing your experience! I have everything too: dry wrinkly undereyes, with a lot of purple and blue circles PLUS bags. So continuously struggling with this area and always thanksful for any tips helping in this struggle
I started using corrector because of you and Emily Noel! I have very dry skin so I skip the powder under my eyes and use a setting spray. I'm going to try the eye cream trick tomorrow.
Stephanie i live for your tips and tricks,i was part of the tanning bed boomers....my eyes are paying for the years of stupidity....im so excited to try the coconut oil in a contact case idea! Please keep them coming*your a fantastic you tuber/seemless and knowledgeable*
Hi, Stephanie! I returned to thank you again for these tips, BECAUSE after watching this video I immediately went online and bought coconut oil (I knew about people using it for hair, but had no idea that it works under eyes, too) and I must say it is a game changer for me! I couldn't imagine such a simple and cheap product can be a real game changer! I use it twice daily before applying eye cream, treatments and other stuff and my ender eyes look as hydrated, plump and fresh as maybe 15 years ago :) event it seems that puffiness reduced, too (and I didn't change any other products I use under my eyes). So now will advice it to anyone struggling with dry and textured under eyes!
New sub 🤗 love the content on this video. I'm 47 yrs old and will def moisturize a couple times and love the eyeshadow primer and coconut oil afterwards. Thank you
I'm a new subscriber and just want to say how helpful this & your other how-to videos are. I'm over 40 with dry skin and never used powder at all because of the fear of it looking dry & cakey. I've had success with your method on my overall face but still have problems under my eyes, even after using oil & 2 layers of moisturizer & letting them all sink in. I've found that using the tiniest amount on a brush works better for me under my eyes. But I'm thrilled I found your videos to try new methods & see what works for me. I think you have the most useful content!!! Thanks so much for sharing your tips!
Awesome video & so good for mature under eyes!!! Great advice & I’m going to try several of these! One thing I’ve tried that works pretty well for me is using a small amount of Tarte Shape Tape, letting it set for a few minutes & then dotting on Mabelline Age Rewind which is less stiff/thick/more creamy than the Shape Tape & mildly blend with a damp beauty blender & then setting lightly with Elf setting powder. This combo seems to cover well & not crease hardly at all compared to the Shape Tape alone.
Omg, I so agree with you. I have dry skin and really dry undereyes. I have to use an eye cream, but there really aren't any that are both moisturizing + treatment. I do bring my serums up under eyes. At night, I use the Skinceuticals AGE (honestly not sure this is worth the price) and top it with the Cerave eye cream or a drop squalane or Argan. In the morning I like the It bye bye lines serum (plumps lines, let it soak in), It bye bye cream ( because I bought it 😜), and top with an illuminating primer (helps with staying power and fill in lines more) before concealer. I can't use oil before concealer even if I let it soak in because my concealer breaks up, same with a damp sponge to apply concealer. I put concealer on with a brush and pat out excess from lines gently with my ring finger (use a sponge to blend with foundation at edges only). I do use a small denser brush to set powder, but I pat not swipe a very light amount. Unfortunately, I have come to realize that only high-end powders work for me (Chanel, La Mer). Since I don't have darkness, I don't need full coverage, but I need moisture. Anything even a little dry or matte makes my under eyes look desiccated within an hour. I hear people say too much hydrating concealer sinks in more than matte, full coverage. I think that if you have lines, it's going to sink in no matter what. I'm just trying not to highlight the lines. My favorites are the Bare minerals serum concealer and the It CC+ eye (super hydrating). I use the maybelline fit me too, but not the age rewind which I find drying. I think the worst part is when it looks fine after application, but I look in the mirror later and it's just terrible. Also, I stopped using concealer that is more than one shade lighter than my foundation. Originally, I used a lighter shade to bring my eyes forward and combat hollowness, but I realized that it actually accentuates lines and looks unnatural on my tan skin.
I was just 'eyeing' this product the other day. So glad you have a code. I love trying new mascara. Ordered mine! I trust your opinion fully. You have always been honest with us.
Thank you for these great tips! I spritz my damp beauty blender with setting spray and then very lightly tap on setting powder. I'm definitely trying the Color Science corrector! 💕💕💕
Thank you SO much for this video. I tried a few of these tips today ... and wow! I feel like my under eye area looked so much better!!! Seriously sending you a long distance hug today!!!
Thank you so much for turning me on to Colorscience Total Eye 3 in 1 - it is fantastic! It does a great job of covering my under eye darkness. I've been following your tips, and they are all really helping. Thank you!
I agree where eye creams are concerned. I find I get the best results using 2 ( 1 for moisture, 1 for treatment with vitamins & retinol) & sometimes adding a bit of oil. If I use a heavy cream under my eyes it makes the wrinkles worse & doesn't absorb. Makes any make up you put over it cake up immediately.
I love the tip of applying the powder with the beauty blender. I will try that tomorrow as well as adding a drop of oil before my eye cream. I have bags under my eyes, not so much dark circle, so learned from Wayne Goss how to use concealer on the shadow under the bag to hide it better. Thanks for this great video!
I am going to be 48 this year a D I have noticed more under eye dryness . I try to use my eye cream twice daily . I do use a brush to set my under eyes and have noticed they don’t look smooth. I am going to try the damp doings trick tomorrow !
When you mentioned Wayne Goss I knew I could trust you! I adore him and now you have caught my attention! I have super oily skin but my under eye skin is so dry and wrinkly! I am going to try these techniques. Thank you so much for this wonderful video!
Love it! Can’t wait to try these techniques! I have tried jojoba oil under my eyes, can’t wait to try coconut. I agree with the damp beauty blender with the powder, it does a much better job than a brush. Keep passing along anti aging secrets Lisa, I’m over 40 as well
Stephanie, THANK YOU SO much for your recommendation on the colorescience 3-1 concealer. This TRULY has been a God sent product for my under eyes. After trying SO many different products, etc...this is so far the best for me. I don’t even have to set it, and yeah thats NEVER been the case for my under eyes that have wrinkles...lol. I’m not one to comment on videos, but I HAD to come back to this video and THANK YOU for this. Love your videos, thanks again! 👍🏼🤗
Hey Tricia! I'm so so so glad you love it as much as I do! I'm using it in tomorrow's video. Thank you so much for taking the time to give me feedback on it! Thanks girl! 🤗😘
I just bought the Becca under eye brightening corrector and haven't really been playing with it yet, but sure will😋It seems a very nice product for under eyes.
These tips really do work! I have extremely dry skin and my under eyes are bad. I use a nice facial oil and moisturizer day and night and I love using eye masks that plump and hydrate. I battle being dehydrated all of the time from being chronically ill, so staying on top of my skin care helps me a ton. I also love spraying my beauty sponge with either my Caudalie grape water spray or the Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist. I’m going to try using my eye primer, thanks for these tips! Love you and your channel! 🤗
This video was amazing & so helpful!! So nice to see someone I can relate to. Real women, real makeup issues. Watching 20 somethings slap on way too much of a product they don't need in the first place.. not helpful! lol (not that they're doing anything wrong, just does not work when you're 36!) I recently had a terrible allergic reaction to an eye product. I woke up to red itchy eyes that were almost swollen shut. A few days after it calmed down, I was left with SEVERE dry, scaly patches, both on my lids and under my eyes. It was horrible! And no matter what eye cream I put on, it did nothing. Last night I went & got the Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Hydra-Gel Eye Patches.WOW! They felt amazing on my under eyes, and they actually stayed put. Felt SO refreshing and moisturizing. When I took them off I patted in what was left of the serum, put on my night cream and by this morning, my eyes were back to normal! NO scaly, dry, peeling patches. And no irritation whatsoever. And I have very sensitive eyes. I'm going to try putting them on while I do my makeup. They stay on really well and it would be a great way to get some extra moisture on my under eyes & prevent shadow fall out. HIGHLY recommend!! Thanks again for taking the time to do this video. It was perfect! :)
When I set my powder, I tap a little in the cap and pour a drop of setting spray and mix into a light paste. Then I spray a little setting spay to my beauty blender and pat it in. Works like a charm!
Pur hydra gel lift under eye primer has been my must have go-to for a month now. It smooths out texture has a lifting effect and I only use a tiny bit of concealer over. I don’t like having to do power because I find it leaves more texture and I’m just over 40 now too. I honestly rather look more shiny than have texture anywhere so I’ve hardly ever used powder anywhere in life. In fact I usually just use good CC/ BB creams or tinted moisturizers with Spfs. I only started wearing concealer in the last few years too so I’ve been fortunate but it’s been a struggle. I actual prefer ones with luminous effects like Pur’s ( disappearing radiance ink ) or NO7 radiance glow. I like your suggestions for coconut oil though. I use it as 1 of my steps to remove mascara or cc cream a lot. Thank you again. PS. I’m Always proud to say” I was born in N’Orleans “ even though raised in upstate NY. 😍
So excited about this product launch. My single greatest makeup challenge is my translucent lids and under eyes. Thank you Stephanie for the wonderful demo and tips.
Thank you so much for your under eye beauty blender tip for setting powder. Never thought of doing it that way. Love, love your videoed. Look forward to every new one. I’m 64 with oily skin that still breaks out occasionally. When will that end, Lol...
I have been using argon oil under my eyes for a while now. I always try to let it sit for a minute or two before applying concealer. So far the best under eye concealer I've found is the Garnier Clearly Brighter anti dark circle eye roller. It has a light-medium sheer tint which seems to be just enough for me. That said, I also like maybelline age rewind as well as Boi-ing brightening concealer. I'll have to try using coconut oil under my eyes!
Stephanie Marie, would consider doing a video about your overall approach to beauty over 40? I really appreciate your take on skincare and makeup and it would be nice to hear your thoughts on the goals and challenges we face in our 40s. For me, it's not just about a specific technique, but more about a whole you set of challenges that my aging skin is presenting me with!
I'm new to your channel. I've recently started using a small dab of Vaseline for my under eyes and so far looks great. I've recently purchased the Mac pallette medium mid-yellow, mid-peach, ALSO have thee painterly paint pot, I also purchased the Mac highlighter in bright forecast, and prep and prime.. concealer in 24hr Mac, and I recently stopped using foundation under my eyes as well, so I appreciate this video, so just let me know what you think about the recently added Vaseline lightly under my eyes and if you think it could work for others, that need that extra hydration. I also purchased the all day hydrating spray from mac so just a few items I did purchase to try out. Thanks 😊 for sharing 💜 💖
Thanks for sharing this Stephanie it’s definitely an interesting take on the under eyes but I haven’t heard before and I will definitely look up your other video with how you set the under eye because it is a problem for me I am 43 and I am dry not only under my eyes but on my whole face thanks so much
This is perfect timing. I was watching your other videos on undereye corrector and concealer this weekend. I know I need to add a corrector. I like that this one has sunscreen in it! I use oil under my eyes like you suggested and that helps a ton! Can't wait to try these new tips! Thank you so much Stephanie. I really appreciate all the work you put into your videos! 💓💓
Great video! I can't wait to try your suggestions. My concealer is sometimes a creased mess, and I never know what to do about it. Now I have some great steps to try, and I really appreciate it!
Thanks I am over 50 and have really been battling this, one thing that has made a huge impact is adding Collagen powder to my coffee, I ran out and could tell a notable difference, it really fills in the lines on the face, you might try it. Everyone I’ve told is really sold on it now
I too use a little coconut oil after my moisturiser and before my concealer.it makes such a difference to how the concealer sits on the under eye skin. I have hugely dark under eyes and the colour of the rest of my under eye is lighter than the rest of my face and so I do pat on the tiniest bit of foundation to help it match. I don’t like my eye area lighter than my face as it just highlights my deep set dark under eyes , bags and wrinkles. Lucky me I literally have every eye concern there is. My eyes still look awful after all my efforts but it does help somewhat. Don’t know why I’m sharing all this. I think I just wanted to vent! Lol Thanks for another great video.
I am new to your channel and after watching the first video it linked me to this one. I have SUCH a problem with undereye creasing. Before I apply makeup I have very minimal fine lines and almost wish I could get away with using nothing and keeping them looking the same. Anyways, I am going to try the steps you used in this video and am really hopeful!! Thank you! 🥰
Wow! I tried your method, step for step and immediately noticed a difference!! You have no idea how many tips and tricks I have tried for a smooth undereye appearance! ❤ Thank you so much!! ❤
THANK YOU.
Yay!! Thank you for letting me know! I’m so glad it helped you!
Great tips Stephanie! I moisturize my undereye like crazy before I apply my concealer..totally works to eliminate the crepeness.
Thank you so much. I appreciate your sensitive demeanor.
I have crepey wrinkles under my eyes too. Talk to an aesthetician about a chemical eye peel for permanent change.
NO powdering The oil keeps the concealer flexible so less fine lines.
hi! where do you buy the kiwi oil?!
Most days my circles peak through correctors and concealers too!
OMG, UNBELIEVABLE! I finally found a solution that actually worked! I have tried everything! Thank you so, so much!!!
I’m so glad it helped you! ❤️
I love face oils and using coconut oil, I can’t wait to try this tomorrow!
When I set powder with my beauty blender I like to dampen it with a moisturizing setting spray. I think it helps to set it in place!
I've messed around with this but haven't fallen in love with a particular spray for that area. What setting spray do you like? Thanks Brooke!
Brooke Tarter I do too!
OH! GREAT IDEA!! I will be trying that one, THANKS!
I use MAC Fix Plus mist. Same solution MUA use to dampen brushes to intensify eyeshadow colors. It is good to refresh skin before makeup.
Truly.
I love that Kiehls eye cream, I started using it after you recommended it in a previous video , Thanks you!!I cant live without it now!
I’m using the Kiehl’s for dark circles but I can only use it at night as it’s too moisturizing to use with eye makeup especially mascara.
Thank you so much! I'm so glad it helped! 😘
I came across this and followed your tips and they worked!!!! I have less creasing now with concealers. Thank you for sharing! And keep up the great informational videos, you are awesome!
That's great Janet! Thank you!
Great tip about putting the eye cream on and then repeating!
Thank you for doing this video. I'm 46 and the under eye is without a doubt the thing I struggle with the most as far as make up goes. I don't need to look airbrushed and do not expect perfection. Just don't want to look any older than I am either.
Awesome video!! This is the main thing I struggle with daily in my makeup routine!
Thank you! 😘
Thanks for all your tips Stephanie, I sure will try them all. I’m 49 and have very dry wrinkly, texture, all of the above under-eye problems.
Thank you Ashley! 💗
YES!! Your style is perfect!
Love the idea of laying moisturizers, especially the coconut oil. Great video, I have the exact same problem that you do.
Great advice! I was putting some of my foundations under my eyes, for more coverage, I will now avoid this step. 😊
I really appreciate the time you spend making your videos. You have detailed steps, reasons, and how to’s. I know it must take longer for you to prep, shoot and edit your videos but it makes such a huge difference. Your videos are informative and very high quality. Thank you!
Thank you so much! 😘
Love all your make up for this video.
Thank you! 🤗
Thank you Danielle! 💗
Learnt a lot and you explained well, your voice is calming too. Subscribed.
Thank you so much! 😘
I found you're channel while searching for over 40 concealing videos, and I'm so glad I did! I'v taken advantage of your tips and tricks and applied them to my everyday routine and I see a huge difference. Thank You for that...
Thank you Dawn!!
I'm so happy it's helped you and that you came back to tell me about it! That's awesome! 😘
Foundation Fairy enjoy your thirties because forty it’s horrible
I really like using the Smashbox Photo Finish primer under my eyes 💜
I just ordered the Colorescience color corrector.... I can't wait to give it a try.
I can't wait to hear your thoughts Stacie!
I hope you like it as much as I do. I’m seriously impressed! Thank you so much for saying that! 😘
Thank you so much! :)
I'm so glad it helped you and am so glad you came back to let me know! 😘
Yes!! I've been using the Estee Lauder concealer for the past week and LOVE it!
I’m so glad! It’s become my go-to lately!
I tried these tips and they work ! Less wrinkly appearance - THANK YOU!!
Absolutely love all your tips! I’m over 65 but still have very oily skin on my face, but not my under eyes. Thanks for all the research you do!
This video is amazing! You are so thorough and helpful. I will definitely be trying the eyeshadow primer and the oil tricks! Thank you so much!
Girrrl...I've done this 3 times now..it works! Thx so much. I'm still wrinkly but they look softer and not the crypt keeper 😝. Appreciate your time!
I'm so glad it helps you Michelle! Thanks for the feedback! 😘
BTW I LOVE you eye makeup & lipstick combo today! So fresh, girly & young looking!
I just added coconut oil back into my night time routine. Now I can’t wait to try it in the morning under my eyes. Thanks!
New sub 🤗 love the content on this video. I'm 47 yrs old and will def moisturize a couple times and love the eyeshadow primer and coconut oil afterwards. Thank you
Thank you and thanks for subscribing!
I’m glad you have a method that works for you! It’s very individual! Thank you so much! 😘
I'm 44 and the damp beauty blender with a loose powder is the best!! Thank you for the tip😊
Yet another awesome video! I’m definitely going to try some of these tips. Your videos are always so helpful.
Thank you Lori!
I've tried that and feel like the setting spray makes me look more crinkly than without. I wish that worked for me! 💕
Thank you SO much for this video. I tried a few of these tips today ... and wow! I feel like my under eye area looked so much better!!! Seriously sending you a long distance hug today!!!
I'm SO GLAD Karen! Thank you for reporting back! 😘💕🤗
Please tell me the make of the corrector and concealer interested to try as my under eye areas ate really dark thank you
Thank you so much for turning me on to Colorscience Total Eye 3 in 1 - it is fantastic! It does a great job of covering my under eye darkness. I've been following your tips, and they are all really helping. Thank you!
I'm so glad it helped you!
Your eye look is beautiful! Please do a tutorial on your look today. The Tarte Tartelette Toasted palette is beautiful.
Thank you! 😘
Tried coconut oil this morning... game changer!!! Thank you for the tip!
Yay! 🤗
I am going to be 48 this year a
D I have noticed more under eye dryness . I try to use my eye cream twice daily . I do use a brush to set my under eyes and have noticed they don’t look smooth. I am going to try the damp doings trick tomorrow !
Let me know how things work for you!
Keep passing along anti aging secrets Lisa, I’m over 40 as well
Terri Wells how did you find the jojoba oil under your eyes?
Saw your Instagram post and ordered the ColorScience 3 in 1 immediately, even before watching, can’t wait to get it and combat my dark circle game!
Yay! Please report back after you try it and let me know how it works for you! I want to know if others like it as much as I do!
Cory Christensen Me, too! Can’t wait to try it!
I did the same. I'm excited to try it!
Oh wow! Sounds interesting!
Trying the coconut oil tomorrow. Thanks!
Great tips... the coconut oil step is the bomb!
Thanks Shari!
Thank you so much for your under eye beauty blender tip for setting powder. Never thought of doing it that way. Love, love your videoed. Look forward to every new one. I’m 64 with oily skin that still breaks out occasionally. When will that end, Lol...
I'm glad it helped! Thank you!!
So helpful! I too have dry undereyes. Will definitely try these tips! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for this video! I struggle with my under eye area daily. I have tried so many techniques and so many different products!
Great video! Finally something that makes sense for mature dry under eye Thanks
As a fellow 40+, I Really enjoy all your videos, they’re informative and helpful. Keep em comin!
Interesting idea! Thank you!
Everyone I’ve told is really sold on it now
Oh wow! What type do you drink? I'm intrigued!
This video is so appropriate to me right now. I'm going to try the coconut oil. Thanku so much xxx
Any ideas for hollow dry under eyes, for concealer and eye cream ?
