Original kanto theme still hits differently even now as a middle aged man.
The theme has that hint of dark, terror within and epic.
I find it interesting how they change up certain parts in these remixes, yet the songs are still recognizable each time.
Finally. The Lets go characters are unchibified.

Surprisingly I think this is my favourite version of the Kanto trainer theme, just above FRLG and HGSS.

Glad to see a standalone remix of this song. Felt bizarre that one of the landmark tunes of the series only appeared in one medley (granted a really badass one; the main Kanto trio).
Now only Hoenn and Paldea remain to get their trainer themes (in standalone format; yes I know about Zinnia's remix).
It is weird but understandable seeing their priorities...Red already has his own theme, and Leaf was the only other Kanto MC available; now that Elaine is here and probably Chase later, there's now multiple who can use it (maybe Classic Red too?).
@@zjzr08 i wonder if RS/Emerald Brendan/May could bring the standalone Hoenn trainer theme.
@extremmefan7305 The issue with May and Brendan is they have their own special theme unlike other MCs...maybe some generic trainers from Hoenn can use it but I'm not sure if they have special tracks for them before.

Funny enough having Ash getting this song without 1, 2, 3 is probably the next best scenario for him hehe.
its sad it feels like the let's go games are overlooked compared to the other mainline games in fact I think Elaine and Chase are the only two protagonist in the mainline games who didn't get a manga counterpart I mean I guess Lyra too but at least she got referenced with crystal dressing like her
Remake versions of MCs are usually counted as the original MC but with a different outfit.
Lets Go is a remake of, specifically, Yellow.
If anything, Red and Yellow getting different outfits in the manga would have made sense, but they were already working on the XY, B2W2, SM, and SwSh arcs at the time, so not making a LGPE arc makes a lot of sense.
That's because Let's Go is a Yellow remake with "alternate timeline" logic for the main characters. So to acknowledge them they have to either create a story from scratch for them or have them replace Red, Leaf and Blue.
Just a little disappointed it had to cut off some parts

@@ailehunterThey'll probably never add Green specifically, your best bet is Variety/Mix Leaf with Mega or GMax Blastoise. I mean, Elaine already knew about Blue from Masters and so did he, there's a likely chance that they'll just treat the Let's Go versions of Red, Blue, and Green as just Red, Blue, and Leaf in Masters.
