Yeah, that was the absolute best part of her theme. At least they still kept the Spanish guitars 🔥 Geeta's been on a roll since Indigo Disk. Her rematch was insane and Masters EX really did her well, and while she's already made her debut in Horizons, all that's left is to see her in action and show viewers what the Top Champion is truly capable of.
This reminds me of when they would change up champion themes back in the day. It's still great though! I would pull for her but I prioritize Renegade Cynthia this month.
The last Pokemon Masters themes were pretty underwhelming... - Great to hear that they returned with a banger and reached their usual composition quality with this theme once again!
My favorite part about Geeta is that she's very obviously going easy on you when you face her in base game and the fact that its coming off the back of everyone throwing a fit about Cynthia being too hard in the remake (she's not hard you're just bad at the game) it feels like Game Freak being absolute trolls. Especially since her Indigo Disk team is legitimately good.
She lied and said she never holds back right before fighting you with a mediocre team. It wasn't everyone throwing a fit over Cynthia being too hard in the remake it was only a tiny minority. The vast majority wanted her to be a challenge and was satisfied that she was one.
In my opinion, she's literally the best champion after Cynthia, Geeta has everything, a great design, a really good theme, cool pokemon teams, and a mysterious personality, to me, she's like the moon and Cynthia is the sun in the pokémon franchise.
Were the drums in the chorus there in the original theme because I didn't remember that, but hearing that acoustic solo is great, and makes it feel a lot more Spanish-y, hehe.
No it was in there the original version too, but here you can tell it’s live instrument version, or at least a stronger emphasis on it in the recording this time around.
I like Geeta even though she seems to be somewhat of a slave driver. I see her more as a façade champion really; top champion is pretty much a status she gets as chairman of the pokémon league to justify the champion assessment test. so I'm not really brothered she is released before the elite four in this game. I actually have this theory that Geeta is purposedly easy on league challengers because of reinforcement and non-retention policies commonly used in modern education. basically, even when students aren't that strong, she evaluates if they acquired the minimum knowledge needed to graduate and let them pass. as the first game with multiple champions in a region, it screams the "everyone can be a champion" policy. by all means, she shouldn't be considered a "champion" as the classical meaning of final boss; that's Nemona.
Yeah its kinda like that. In Paldea and beyond, you get that there are multiple champion level trainers. It was that way in other games too like the Aces of Battle Frontier but they weren't recognized that way
I do think people misunderstand Geeta. I doubt she goes easy on people, but she tries to grow the potential she sees in others. Her status as Champion is truly hers, but I think she also created this rank for the League’s sake. She also changes her team if the need arises like any good battler. People forget that a lot of Paldea’s institutions are basically held together by Geeta. That’s why some of the League staff are also Elite Four, teachers, and whatnot. She and co are also scouting for talent. Geeta would relinquish the Top Champion rank, but it doesn’t seem like anyone wants the role or is ready for it. (That’s a lot better than other regions which let teenagers be Champion, or in B/W’s case, just leave the post vacant.)
@@epicphantom589 I wasn't even referring to her joke of a fight. You claimed she looks like the European Union flag and gave a frankly poor and potentially racist statement. She looks nothing like the flag by the way.
funny how people are saying she's the worst champion in pokemon I honestly found Nemona easier and more disappointing seriously three of her pokemon are weak to fighting type's and her starter is weak to yours so if you kept her starter that's 4/6 pokemon you can easily take care of
Because of Glimmora's signature move, Mortal Spin, is a physical move. Mortal Spin is buffed significantly in here than the main series (which is as weak as the move Astonish). Dunno why it uses 4 gauges instead of 3 when it's as strong as in-game Stone Edge, but I guess it's due to the side effects Mortal Spin has. This is Pokemon Masters, where you can see Burgh's special Leavanny, glass cannon Karen's Umbreon, Sonia's bulky Yamper that surpasses Zamazenta, and some other bizarre stuff you will never see in the mainline lmao
Im disappointed the S/V DLC didnt expand on Geeta's character at all, really wish she was done justice because the game hyped her up just to be a huge flop of a champion
It's heavily implied that at this point she is really only holding on the role of Top champion till you or namona are ready to properly take it on (i.e not children) (this is based off dailog between her and namona in the dlc)
I use a Geeta copycat team in Showdown and in Violet, and I use the Speedboost Espathra. I have switched out Veluza for Basculegion thought. But that's the only change I made.
@makinyoumad9498 well I was talking about the video subject matter which was Geeta and how bad she is as a Champion. Her ace is Glimora and doesn't lead with it for the setup? Then there's the rest of her questionable team which is too easy. She's supposed to be the champion and yet she's easier than a gym leader. She is better in the rematch but not by much.
@hikaru9624 First off all, she's not easier than a gym leader and she's Paldea's strongest in canon Second of all, her team in Disk was way better and made her the strongest champion in terms of game mechanics

@@redram6080"vast majority" dude you all ARE the minority, casual players who are Nintendo's focus definitely didn't like that fight lol
In my opinion, she's literally the best champion after Cynthia, Geeta has everything, a great design, a really good theme, cool pokemon teams, and a mysterious personality, to me, she's like the moon and Cynthia is the sun in the pokémon franchise.
With more Paldia trainer showing up, I hope that only means Larry is coming soon
I hope you already scouted him, I sure did
DAMMIT THE GUITAR, the lil... tango I guess. I just love it
Guitarra española, flamenco is more likely
champion Geeta's song REMASTER !!!
This makes me even sadder that my phone can't run the game because WHEN I HEARD SHE WAS COMING IN THE PRESENTS, I AUDIBLY SCREAMED "LETS FUCKING GO"
Now the question if she'll be capable of holding back 🧐
Esa guitarra ya la hizo quedar bien
Pokémon masters does what Pokémon doesn’t. That FUCKING ACOUSTIC😫
i need to listen to the guitar in her theme on loop
I loved her SV theme
Would much rather have had elite four before champion, but I guess we're getting customs for them?
After so many multi pulls, I finally got Geeta and that adds another Poison type Sync pair to my collection.
Approve.
This is much better than the one from SV
Were the drums in the chorus there in the original theme because I didn't remember that, but hearing that acoustic solo is great, and makes it feel a lot more Spanish-y, hehe.
We need Geeta back for 6th Anni
This is way better than the og theme
She is finally capable
OMG IT'S HER 🥺🥺
It's very Final Fantasy 4. Though nothing beats how FF4 the Elite Four battle is. I swear it has the exact same trumpet riff.
The Spanish guitar was not in the original was it?!
And that makes it a banger 😎
No it was in there the original version too, but here you can tell it’s live instrument version, or at least a stronger emphasis on it in the recording this time around.
It was, it was just later in the theme
If was. Just not enough
I don't care her battle is too easy, to me she is the most charismatic Champion EVER !!!
Can't argue there. Yeah her fights are easy (and disappointing i find) but her character is solid.
Must be the only one who prefers the original but this is still solid.
In the famous words of Michael Jackson: You are not alone.
I prefer the original as well. It has more...emphasis on her being the top champion?
@@tommytittle1992Exactly this feels more like a celebration theme rather than the fight before the celebration.
I love both
The audio jumps at 0:09 for some reason
Love this remix!!
Much better than the original.
Geeta's Team : meh
Geeta's OST in SV : EAT TRUMPETS 🗣‼️
Geeta's OST in Masters : WITH EXTRA GUITAR, VIOLIN, AND KEYBOARD 🗣‼️‼️‼️
@@H0n35t yeah pretty much.
Oh man I don't really need more Poison types but I NEED to pull her just for this theme
this would beat the OG if it just add the guitar solo back.
Therapist: PMEX Geeta isn’t real she can’t hurt you.
PMEX Geeta:
Bet she's still a joke of a champion.
@ I was talking about how weird her character model looks, mainly the face
@@epicphantom589 thats not helping your case.
@@hikaru9624 What case I wasn’t even talking about the difficulty of the fight?
@@epicphantom589 I wasn't even referring to her joke of a fight. You claimed she looks like the European Union flag and gave a frankly poor and potentially racist statement. She looks nothing like the flag by the way.
MOTHER HAS ARRIVED
funny how people are saying she's the worst champion in pokemon I honestly found Nemona easier and more disappointing seriously three of her pokemon are weak to fighting type's and her starter is weak to yours so if you kept her starter that's 4/6 pokemon you can easily take care of
Glimmora was better when it was her ace thank God for Masters EX
i wonder who's gonna voice her in eng and jp? because that is the only thing i am looking forward to 👀
I'm just hoping they don't butcher it
*Finally a worthy champion, step forward. Weak.*
She's a great sync pair and we get to see more of her character which I'm grateful for, but Why is Glimmora a Physical user here?!
Hey its one of Elite 5 on gen 9
I Love original but i love remix !
Im disappointed the S/V DLC didnt expand on Geeta's character at all, really wish she was done justice because the game hyped her up just to be a huge flop of a champion
There are the interactions she has in the BB League Club Room, and she even got a VASTLY improved team from the base game.
It's heavily implied that at this point she is really only holding on the role of Top champion till you or namona are ready to properly take it on (i.e not children) (this is based off dailog between her and namona in the dlc)
Why remix is better than original 😢
Spain intensifies
Arriba España
Olé
Best waifu ever
this theme needed more spanish guitar and they used more here so it is an upgrade all around.
VIVA ESPAÑA
Why'd they completely change the guitar melody??????
Like, new one's fine I guess, but the original guitar section was so good!
The only thing I’m sad about for Geeta is she never used Speed Boost Stored Power Espathra
I use a Geeta copycat team in Showdown and in Violet, and I use the Speedboost Espathra.
I have switched out Veluza for Basculegion thought. But that's the only change I made.
Well, they kinda salvaged her theme here.
So... We're skipping galar cs huh. Gotcha
I really wish hear the Elite Leader theme (Bede’s version)
thought she was a guy until just yesterday (I know nothing of paldea)
why am i now just realising she looks like the eu flag
What?
A laughable champion with a banger theme.
Since when are you a champion?
@makinyoumad9498 what on earth are you talking about?
@@hikaru9624 More like what on earth are YOU talking about
@makinyoumad9498 well I was talking about the video subject matter which was Geeta and how bad she is as a Champion. Her ace is Glimora and doesn't lead with it for the setup? Then there's the rest of her questionable team which is too easy.
She's supposed to be the champion and yet she's easier than a gym leader. She is better in the rematch but not by much.
@hikaru9624 First off all, she's not easier than a gym leader and she's Paldea's strongest in canon
Second of all, her team in Disk was way better and made her the strongest champion in terms of game mechanics
Pretty good, but doesn’t hit as hard as the original
She still looks like a Mii character with a football head...
