That noise is for sure comming from his case fans and other stuff. The Asus is so much more quiet then the Gigabyte. Now it all looks the same, but in reality it is a world of difference. I have the Asus rtx 4080 Super. One of the most quiet cards on the market as where the Gigabyte and also the MSI Ventus are way behind. Just look for example TPU site you will see real noise instead of his combined noise. Also a Ryzen 9 5900X...nice cpu but come on a real bottleneck for this card!
The oc versions are more expensive, and there are reasons for that, but the best thing to do is to look for bargains and buy the best possible version at the best possible price, as I did.
For whatever reason, the Asus TUF is actually the cheapest right now, as long as you don't get the "OC" version Asus TUF 999 MSI Ventus 1049 Asus TUF OC 1099 Gigabyte Windforce 1099
TUF proposal since launched on motherboards is high quality DURABLE components, i think performance in FPS/temps etc. should be the same (little diff that can say is equal) but the question is... The duration of components between them all is the same?
Thx man great video. What did you think overall of the 3 ? They seem to basically deliver the same performance I'm curious to know which you preferred on an overall experience (noise & thermals mainly)
My MSI ventus 4080s has coil whine when running any game no matter the FPS, just got it last week so not sure if I should return it? It is really annoying tbh
Mine's quiet as a mouse. Only noise is fan noise, which is to be expected. Even then it rarely ever heats up enough for the fans to actually kick in. Even att 100% utilization it sits at 60-ish celsius.
I feel like theres a lot of test variance on these cards. I mean you should put tests where the vram used by the card and the usage of the cpu match up with the others. Usually you can achieve this with 5+ or more tests. I see many of these tests where the vram used or cpu utilization for that SPECIFIC run varies greatly then another card. This is usually only related to test variance as it depends on whats loaded and how much or how long the game has been played. Also I see "averages" on the benchmark that dont seem to match the average thats displayed in bigger text on some of these runs? Why is that? Also which one would you say experienced the most coil whine?
test different number of fans with same graphic card will be great eg: 4060 single fan vs 4060 double fan vs 4060 Trible fan .........if possible heat sink vs liquid cooler
Why i came here. The gigabyte windforce has 3 slots, all others 4 slots. In mind, u could think a bigger rig can cool better, but after this it doesnt care the gigbayte windforce card.
just get the one YOU think is awesome it's not just looks, it's your mood and attitude. it can be cheap, it can be expensive, what matters is how YOU feel about it it's worth much more than 50 bucks through years
Your box for thr tuf didnt say OC. It isnt OC. Lo The tuf OC says OC on the box instwad of gt111. Thats how you know becausw thwy add for there tqeak software on the none OC editions and then the regulars sont have that on it and is replaced with the OC letters. So idk why you thought you had the OC you dont. Which is fine this video actually proves whay ive been saying asus has 0 difference between OC and none OC. Just a way for them to make a few bucks and throw very few none OC out in the wild but they can fo hey see we have one that isnt to crazy priced lol. Same as last gen. Heck some 3080s OC better from the none oC variants. It just doesnt matter. I think you just accidently put the OC label in the video when taking it from somewhere. When showing off the fps. No worries. This is actually very nice to see.
MSI and GB are entry level/MSRP cards - the TUF is a higher tier card that costs, currently and in my market, a whopping €200 more than the Windforce. IIRC, the GB Gaming OC would be a more direct competitor to the TUF-card - not sure about MSI, but probably their Gaming X Slim or Gaming X Trio card(s)?
You are severly cpu bottlenecked. Sometimes you down to 50% usage on those GPU`s. This video has no meaning unless you run the cards without CPU bottleneck :)
@@haksi7 I had bad experience with some msi products but not with asus. Those were perhaps bad luck. Because I like msi motherboards more, but asus strix graphics cards run cooler so my gpu is from asus. However lately asus customer support has gone really bad. So I can't recommend it anymore.
I'm going to try the MSI setup then just because it seems to be in the middle of the 2. Again, I am choosing MSI just because price and performance wise, it seems to be in between the 2. I do have the money for ASUS components but everyone is complaining about their customer service being bad. But what gets me is that, if the the product is better than MSI and GIGA in both performance and reliability, why would you need to call customer service for exactly? To me, there seems to be an issue with ASUS that nobody is talking about and I have no idea why. What the issues are I have no clue, but if ASUS has really good components, why are there so many posts about how bad their service is? Like is the ASUS product breaking or you want a refund hence the call? If someone can tell me what the reason for that is, then please do so I can decide on whether to switch or not.
Great, with noise measuring! Thank you, for the insights!

remember the gigabyte is not the OC version, but the cheaper one. So Allot better card to get
And the power connection is hidden on the side behind the card
You guys really think an average of 2fps more is worth 200-400 dollars more? You have to be kidding me gigabyte ftw
Right I just bought the windforce for 300 dollars less I won't be able to tell the difference if I'm 2fps slower
@@joelnevarez3058 I was going to too but it was taking too long to deliver so I went amd 7900xtx even cheaper lol

Hell no, the asus tuf is cheaper than both windforce and ventus now and you get better performance.
Why does the 4080 ventus use more vram than the other two?

Winner is Gigabyte. $1000 From B&H, meanwhile The MSI is $1200 and the Asus is $1339
are u sure?
Got my MSI for a 1000
MSI ventus 3x is 1k

All of the three cards are great. My favorite is the MSI. The Asus TUF looks like a little brick, to massive.
@@hardwareforgamers- still ur favourite? cos I'm about to get it
Its the only one just $30+ at MSRP

So the gigabyte is the lesser performer here, temps little bit higher, sometimes lil bit more power consumption and overall around 4 fps less
4fps less but 200 to 300 dollars cheaper
That's windforce, Aero is way better
@@joelnevarez3058 How can it be 200 dollars cheaper when the Ventus is the cheapest?
@calvin659 now it is but when they first came out the gigabyte was the cheapest
I like the msi rtx 4080 super slime white because of the color i bought a all white pc looks sick

The gpu temps are shown, on average it looked like the Asus card had better temps.
