It looks to me like the coloring on that display is somewhat on the _warm_ side. (Looking at it, I'm reminded of what my phone's screen looks like when it's in 'night time' mode). Otherwise, I'd say that the RTX 4080 _should_ be able to push higher frame rates for you, without having to use DLSS *or* frame generation. What drop frames are you referring to? Utilising lower graphics settings will deliver more FPS but that is about it. Usually it doesn't affect framerate smoothness, if that's what you're referring to. With some rare exceptions of course.

I’m thinking about getting the R7 7800X3D processor. Do you think I should go for the RTX 4080 super or save 200 euros and stick with the RTX 4070 Ti super ? I'm very well, thank you! How about you?
If you have a GPU that you feel will get you through the next several months when the RTX 5080/5070 launches then you might as well wait. However, if you have a lot of work/games that you want to do then I don't think it's worth waiting for the next-gen.
Personally, I had a pretty good time with playing games on the 4070 Ti SUPER. It has plenty of memory. However, games are becoming increasingly more GPU demanding. So, don't expect the 4070 Ti SUPER to continue delivering great experience one or two years from now in the latest most demanding games. And if you want to experience ray tracing then definitely go for the 4080 SUPER.

Yes, prices are typically higher at launch and then come down over following several weeks as stock availability improves. We all have different levels of FOMO.
