Totally, this is way better than just the initial impression as soon as the product comes out to generate hype. Needed as well in the sense that a store needs that but this is a great addition
i'm a guitar player! i don't know how to run a bass! i'm 50 year old! and i love so much what cici and friends give to us. so refreshing for a grandaddy 🙂please do same kind of stuff with guitar gear. the world with too many overdrive or fuzz that does the same thing. sometimes for insane (and not justified/ one of the best fuzz cost less than 30 euros brand new) prices. thank you.
I'm really impressed by that preamp. I'm not really crazy over those stock Bartolini pickups that are common with some of Ibanez's models, but the GK really brought them to life and gave them the extra bit of clarity that i find is lacking in them(just my opinion). And i agree with everyone else. More videos like this please!
Great series, that brings a lot more expertise to the table, on top of the usual good playing, good sounds and fun personalities! The Quad Cortex would be my request! Especially in the same setup as this (hybrid).
I think it'd be awesome if either of you would be willing to spend a month with the Quad Cortex or Fender Tone Master Pro (or any other multi-effect unit)!
Great idea and helpful personal assessment. I’d love to see you do the same with the HX Stomp and share your feelings, pros/cons, etc. with it as both a one stop DI out, and as part of a pedal board chain into your preferred amp. Curious if you feel the amp and cabinet modelers are accurate, and if you’d use them or just the effects with your own amp. Thanks!
I like the format of using a piece of gear for a while then talking about it, but you got to showcase it. I think the point of getting to know the gear is to show what it can do, and how to use it. We just got some of Cici's feelings about it and vaguely told how she used it.
I am really interested to see what your long term view of the Boss ME90b or the Boss Katana amps are. Particularly interested in whether they totally replace amps / pedal boards.
Cici's observations and prowess aside, I understand a certain Swedish home furnishing store has an excellent range of stylish items that might do a better job than that table, presumably borrowed from somebody’s grandma! My suggestion is to take it back immediately, pick up a flatpack, and treat yourselves to some meatballs 🙂
@@CiciVonStrangelove There's never another person's name or picture in the title or thumbnail, but it's never a solo Cici video, like your cool, Ambient bass video.
It would be really cool if Lee and Pete did a video once a week or once a month what was news based talking about the latest news in the guitar world, like spoof news channel wearing wigs n fake tan 😅.... 44teeth RUclips channel does that about motorbikes and it's the most hilarious thing ever
I am really loving this series of spending time with a pedal. That's how you know an artist really connects with it or not
I agree

Love this review format. Drive it for a month, then report. Please do more like this.
Cici is absolutely my favorite bass player & reviewer. This video's format & style is so very helpful. Thank all of you involved in it!
Great idea! Give Cici all the gear! 🤣🤣

Another great video as usual with Cici!
Nice format to the review. Good work

Excellent! Great video!
That intro went HARD
Would love to see her play darkglass pedals!!!
Idk what that intro was but it sounded like a video game bonus level😂

Dope stuff
Stu hamm on da bass, kings of sleep album has killin guitar too
Great video
My gk 700 was a game changer compared the the behringer I was running it on before. So much more articulation and punch at the same time
I’ve stopped using an amp live. I just have a SansAmp at the end of my pedalboard direct to the FOH.

Did this on the newer ones like the Justin chancellor wah, this is the first one we filmed of this series so just figuring it out here :)

Bass whammy, I don’t think you’d need an entire month, but something cool to see…😊
the queen of bass cc, great vid guys, your incredibubble woman.
Decides to watch some RUclips after practicing bass
Watches Cici
Has to go back to practicing
Haha!! Night made, you’re far too kind! Thank you :)
@@CiciVonStrangelove And you're far too good!

6:01 You have Tom Waits' attention.

Haha, she’s been pestering to go to said Swedish retailer recently so who knows what flat packs might come home now lol
Lee can introduce himself with "I'm Lee, no relation".
Title is always, “Cici,” but there’s always dude.
The only titles that say Cici are the ones in this series, which is my own series 🤣

what happened to cici and dave
Latency sucks on this one

Her preamp configuration looks weird
Super scooped tone 🤮
The contour is on and the high mid is turned down some...actually every filter is engaged.
