You need to do a mod where when crewmates die, they can become a random monster to kill the other alive crewmates. However, if you get to be a looter bug, you can collect items without dying to other monsters.

in update v45 this is basically a thing, if you're holding a mask in your inventory and you die you become a mimic, but you can't control yourself
Imagine if you get to play one of the dogs, and you’re blind in game so you actually have to use sound to find your enemies. That would be sick asf

It would be days but since “1 days left” wouldn’t make since and it’s a countdown people would usually put “day(s)” to signify that it could be either or depending on the number before.
