@@norsyuhadabtebasir556 ye...tapi tak pe...yg penting mknan kite paling best sekali kt dunia...😁
ade claypot chicken rice yg halal, rasa pun blh juga, tapi selalunya ikan masin yg dihidang adalah goreng, biasanya penjaja cina stim je ikan masin , supaya ia boleh bergaul dgn nasi
@@user-eu8fd3vw4u dekat mana ada jual ye...
Our Mr Uncle is very friendly.... that's our Malaysians' conversation... making jokes while talking to each other... sometimes the jokes is true... sometimes it's not true... it's mean to tease among us...😸😸
I really really love this kind of mood!🤗☺️
That 66 years old uncle with 42 years of experience cooking claypot rice is a real "sifu"/master.... wooooow, the rice is SUPPPPEEER SEEDDAAP, right? The saltiness comes from the salty fish. Aah, that lotus root soup is equally yummy !! Wonderful that you finally get to try and taste claypot rice. Enjoy your SEDAP day, Chu. Stay safe and keep healthy. Take care.
More than 40 years of experience is no joke. I love the taste and his young energy to cook all the claypots. You too! Stay safe!😊😆
Loots very authentic claypot rice and soup
And he cooks over charcoal too...that's the real master...not using a well prepared rice, super master. I'm even burnt the rice if cooking on gas stove lol.

OMG 2 persons portion u also can finished 😢 😂
Im a Malaysian local indian. It tastes little extra salty because they may had added the ikan masin (salted fish) The right way to eat clap pot chicken rice is to nicely scrape the rice around the pot and mix it properly before serving. The nice part i love is the crusted rice after scraping the pot. By the way the wine he mentioned should be I believe rice wine used for cooking. Not your regular red wine.
Chu has discovered 🤩 one of the local chinese favourite dishes - amazingly 💕 sedap claypot chicken rice, especially with salted fish added 😋 truly sedaaaaaap! 👍
I was so surprised that claypot rice includes salted fish! Amazing!😋😉
A Chinese dish that is loved by many Malaysians ❤
Sedap giller!
OMG! that blue big spoon....suits you Chu Bro. Make it your signature spoon...Lol. Enjoy!
Finally!! I think I have found it and it suits my mouth's size😆😉
Fully agree 😄😄👍👍🙆♀️🙆♀️🙆♂️🙆♂️.
We usually use the big spoon to scoop and serve...so far I think no one in Malaysia use it to eat. U are the first 🤣🤣
That is the best type of claypot chicken rice, cooked over charcoal, with rice wine seasoning and served with salted fish😋
I love it!👍👍
Amazing interaction with the cook customers and the clay pot dish.. Ho double "O" Sai = ho-o-o-sai.. 😋🤩
Hooosai?! A new word! haha Thank you! 😊😉
Hi Chu! The green colour drink that you had is not mango.. It is a fruit called umbra. In cantonese, it is called "salei suenmui" which in English is called umbra with sour plum. It is a very delicious drink and I often order it whenever I have lunch near my office.
umbra tu dalam bahasa melayu dipanggil Kedondong ke ??
@@alongshushu A'ah
@@alongshushu yes
Chu, the green juice is not mango juice it’s called kedondong juice with sweet and sour plum. I sell this juice everyday
I laughed out loudly when you used the big 'senduk' to eat.. 🤣🤣
Sorry lah 🤣😅😆

Looks delicious. I wish there is halal chicken claypot rice somewhere with that authentic taste.
Oh...If I find it when I travel, will let you know!🙏🫡
There is in pd
This claypot rice will lose its "authentic" taste without the cooking wine and sausage bro
@@wukuimimug7673 usually they replaced the wine with vinegar as wine heated under certain degrees change into vinegar.
@@abdhaiamrialias9794 The wine used are rice wine. So it wont turn into vinegar. There is no sour taste in Claypot Chicken Rice. Rice Wine will turn sweet when heated under certain degree. I'm sorry that there is not many halal claypot chicken rice around :( especially nice ones
If anyone from JB here... please tell me where can i have halal rice claypot... im craving so damn bad esp after watching this... i wish i can mix with lot lot of cili potong... perghhhh sedap gilerrrrrrrrr
I'm from JB. Even not halal one also hard to find. Because this is Cantonese cuisine. In JB most Chinese are Hokkien and TeoChew ppl.
Some more claypot rice really need skills.
If u are mine i can cook fo u
@@josho1598 yeah... in Ipoh i can easily find one... i need cuti balik kampung then only i can eat claypot rice 😂😂😂
@@keiiee5566 yes Ipoh Cantonese food is superb . Very authentic and quality.
Yummy mouth watering..! I really miss this. Will go today itself to try it out. Amazing video ! Well entertaining with spontaneous expression of exclamation by the Korean tourist!!
yup Lin Ong Tong is Lotus soup , some claypot chicken stall like to put chicken feet to boil it too to add the sweetness of soup. You shold mix some chili padi and soya saurce to rice to eat, very nice.
Oh~ I see! I just though lotus root only so surprised to see the feet😆😁
Claypot Rice goes very well with 1. Vegetable (fried garlic, oyster sauce & oil), 2. Soup. 3. Braise soft chicken feet
One of the best part abt this is the slightly burnt rice at the bottom of the pot. I always scrap as much as I can cuz they taste rly good.
I’m surprised Chu have not tried claypot chicken rice. But I understand because there are so many food in Malaysia.
Hehe I was surprised too! hehe You are correct! 👍😊
This is really yummy. I always order extra salted fish, extra(lap cheong)sausages and more spring onions. Those burnt rice at the bottom of the clay pot is the best. I always take it with a lot of chili padi. 👍👍👍
Oh! I must do order like you. I always forgot that I could order extra!😂😅😊
Chu bro, I see you really enjoyed claypot chicken rice. Correctly, you should scoup up the rice onto a plate n it will cool down faster. Glad you enjoyed your food. 👍🍽️
That might be much better 😅😁😆
The best claypot rice in KL, been eating this since the 80s.
Aiyoh.... Chu. First time I see someone eating with that big ladle. More amazing is that it can fit into your mouth! LOL
Bro Chu..this month is the best month to visit Sabah. You can have a lot of food at KDCA just like bazaar because of the harvest festival celebration. I am sure you will have new experience over there.

It really gives me so much joy to watch you eating. You love food and who doesn't! Claypot chicken rice is comfort food for Malaysians. The salted fish gives it the salty as well as unique taste. The lotus root soup is equally yummy. Great choice! 👏👏👍🏼👍🏼💕🧡🙋♀️🙋♀️

I couldn't make it this time but I hope I can go next time! Thank you! 😊🙏
안녕하세요 ChuBro님. If you in Pudu to try the claypot chicken rice, u also can consider others authentic foods there such as:
1) Tongsui (Chinese Dessert) in Jalan Brunei.
2) Sek Yuen Restaurant - famous for roasted duck
3) Wai Sek Kai Pudu (Hawker Stalls) - the steamed eggs and fried clamps noodles is good.
4) Restoran Yap Hup Kee - served very SEDAP yong tau foo!!
and many many great foods there!
Thank you for all the recommendation!👍😋
Chu~ the drink u ordered is likely buah long long ( a type of fruit that looks like a small green mango) with assam boi (plum preserved in salt). I personally dont like the drink (smells like grass for me) but its quite popular in Malaysia
Buah long long~~ long name! Thank you for letting me know!
Malay called it 'buah amra'
It's called ambra or kedondong
'Kedung dung' juice or 'Sa Lei Sui'
@Chu Bro you should try some authentic Chinese food at Sek Yuen Restaurant. It is opposite this claypot chicken rice shop. Also, go to Restaurant Sin Hiap Kee to try the mutton, 168 Restaurant for the Wantan Mee and Curry Mee. Another restaurant is selling Tai Po Mee but I can't remember the name. All in that area. Good luck of trying
Thank you for the recommendation 🙏👍👍🫡

Chu...opposite there is the KL most authentic and historical Chinese Restaurant all time.. Almost 80 years... Their famous signature dish is 八宝鸭 (Pa Po Duck) need to order one day early....and another one leave for you to check out yourself... All their dishes are very big portion.. Be careful If you want to order... PRICE IS VERY CHEAP but BIG
I went there recently. The Eight Treasure Duck did not give me a surprise. 没有惊喜,味道平平. I think the experienced chef has retired
Oh! That restaurant is famous among Korean! Maybe I should try. Thank U🙏👍
Enjoy the experience, can explore more variety of different food from various ethnic Malaysian community. 😃
Thank you so much🙏🙏🙏
Chu, next time try the opposite restaurant. They cook authentic Cantonese dishes but some need to pre-order. And they still use charcoal.
I went there recently. Is called Sek Yuen
Oh! Charcoal still?! Amazing 🤗👍

Hi Chu , your rice , scoop n soup all so big.🤣🤣❤️

If you like nurungji, try xiang di mee fun (translated as fragrant bottom bee hoon). the bee hoon is fried until nurungji fragrant and then topped with hor fun sauce. Just go to any chinese restaurant and ask for XIANG DI MEE FUN.
Oh.....My mouth is literally watering! Thank you for your recommendation!👍😊
