  • The good news is that the Porsche configurator added the GT3 Touring Package. The bad news...I really, really want one! I'm hoping to get an allocation early next year, so just in case, I take you through all of the options that I'd pick.

    PTS Brewster green 110%. Miles better than Python green.

    • @9seven

      I feel like the biggest difference is in low light... British Racing looks green still, Brewster turns black, which I think Matt would hate, lol.

      Brewster Green is frickin awesome, with the 'grown up' silver wheels and Touring package. Not feeling it with black wheels and blacked out details. Python is cool but would suit better to the winged GT3 imho. Seats for the Touring would be awesome in leather-Pepita as in the 911R.

    • @jonathanhieftje

      Brewster green is the only option between the two IMO with only a 5k premium if you can get PTS allocation.

    • @jmartprjmartpr9944
      @jmartprjmartpr9944 3 года назад

      At $11K (new price for PTS) the question is how bad do you want PTS in a very unique color that few will have (if any). Brewster is a great green but $11,000 better than Python? Had the same dilemma in my 718 GT4 which I wanted Viper Green but when I saw Python I just couldn't justify the extra $$$$, even that Viper would have been epic on my car.

    Matt...the color you are looking for is Oak Green Metallic. Little more pop than Brewster, but very grown up as well. Look up "Oak Green Touring", looks stunning in the sun.

      If it was my money, Oak Green would my choice too, but between Python and Brewster Green? Brewster every time.

  • @charlesandjulien
    @charlesandjulien 3 года назад +32

    Brewster most definitely. I feel like the eclectic colours should be reserved for the outlier RS models. Python green reminds me of Lizard green, and from a design standpoint, I think it's a colour that gets complimented by the aggressive aero of the RS line. On the more subdued Touring lines, a colour like Brewster or British Racing Green, suits the car far better. Of course my opinion is completely subjective, but the Brewster Green looks phenomenal.

    Matt,
    I just want to say that I love how transparent you are with money and how you operate. I eventually want to do something similar to what you do, but with older (and some newer) trucks. It’s great to hear your talk about how you generate interest, and turn that into purchasing, then modifying, then selling your cars all through your followers, and really helps me with my own aspirations.
    Best of luck going forward!!

    I regret getting rid of my GT4 (981) so I'd imagine the 718 is even that much better. I've had a 991.1 GT3 and 991.2 RS since. Still miss the GT4... haha. I'd keep the GT4 and replace the .2 RS with the touring and by the time the 992 RS comes along im sure you could swing all 3.
    Also, an acquaintance of mine in the Orlando area has a brewster green GT3, if you've never seen the color in person. I'm sure we could find any excuse to head to OG HQ.

    Brewster Green without a shadow of a doubt, if you can that it. With that darker green I would for sure lean for the classy look. Bright trim and silver wheels with the silver stitching inside, class personified. She would look very chill. Everyone has dark wheels, I think the fad is over personally. That being said it still looks great and it’s your car, your choice. I’m just saying Silver and green is a very grown up classy look, if that’s what you’re going for to try contrast your more aggressive RS
