Dr Lomas, your Positive Lexicography Project is one of the most interesting projects I’ve come across in ages! Fascinated by absolutely every word and how they articulate things I’ve never seen articulated. Amazing work and speech. If you don’t mind me giving one bit of feedback about this talk, it’s that using much less complex, simple and accessible words would get this story across to loads more people (especially non-English). Things like ‘the idea started to crystallise’ and ‘given my affiliations with psychology’ can be: ‘it all started to become clear’, and ‘since I’d been studying psychology’. You’re clearly really articulate, but if you were explaining the project to your nan, how would you talk about it? That’s the language that’d connect more with people because that’s how you talk naturally. It’s more conversational. Anyway, I’m rambling now but it’s just because I love this project and hope I’m making sense. I’d love to help if you’d like it. Much love x

"Sobremesa" only exist is Spanish because is an activity that is not normally done in other cultures.
