Can you remember and share what you might know about the luggage car and alternate space (on upper floor) for luggage. We are going on this route soon and we both will have a large-ish suitcase (25”) and a carryon suitcase … each. And I am stressing a bit about whether there will be space for the 2 large pieces. All carriage offer ample luggage storage. For larger items (and in the case all space is taken) you may want to head to the luggage carriage. Note that the trains are designed for transporting people over longer distance hence taking more luggage. I am sure you will be fine but make sure your baggage allowance is sufficient (you may need to pay extra for taking more/larger bags and suitcases). I hope this helps.
How do you rate the legroom? How did your co-passenger rate it, he seems very tall :)
