秋田県男鹿市・なまはげ太鼓（Namahage Taiko Drumming）

This is one of the Oga city tourism promotion video for all travelers.
We have a folklore festival called "Namahage Sedo Festival" on every February at Shinzan shrine famous for Namahage traditional story.

These are some tips for the people who don't know much about Namahage.
1. Namahage is not a typical Demon, we believe it's a God who bring us happiness, health, full harvest, and good year.
2. Namahage visit us every new year's eve, but they pass a family who lose one of them or baby born in this year.
3. Namahage tighten family ties. As you know, It looks like a demon and they try to take children away from parents. so when children meet Namahage, they cry almost all. Parents try to protect them, and they will be safe.
Namahage, It's maybe a virtue of Oga.
