How is the truck ? Do you still have it? I just found a decent Ranger that has the good V-6 and the extended cab. I swapped a flatbed for the regular bed and now I am planning on doing the SAS swap with early bronco axles. Hope you are well my friend!!
I don't have it anymore. I gave the ranger to my son. A tree had fallen on it a few years ago and I didn't have the time to fix it. He plans on doing a v8 swap here soon.. I do miss it though.
@@spudm0nst3r Yes life moves forward. I found a flatbed and replaced the bed on mine. When I pulled the truck out of a mud pit in New Jersey on a farm it had holes in the frame I could stick my fist through. Many hours of welding and the frame is nice and solid. The spare tire rack had to come off because it was a block of rust. I welded supports across the back to sure up the frame. There is still a bunch of work to be done but I am happy to have the V-6 because it runs great. It has been sitting for the past few months because I got hit on my Harley by an F350 and nearly didn't make it. I am walking again after 18 months but I am chomping at the bit to get outside and start working on it again. It is so damn cold here in Pa right now. Take care my friend. I will be moving back to Florida sometime soon I hope. I spent many years down there at USF getting my chemical engineering degree and I would rather be welding...lol
@@spudm0nst3r I have been watching King of The Hammers and I really want to go there next year. I am sure there are a bunch of get togethers like it over the next year to prepare. Maybe I will see you or your son there.

@@johnkoury1116 would like to one of these years, but I live on the other side of the country.
What's done to the axle as far as upgrades, (stronger shafts? Ball joints?) What size tires are you running?
Stock dana 30. Open diff. 35x12.5 tires.
@@spudm0nst3r I could tell it was an open diff haha, I would assume it came out of a jeep cherokee?
I'm thinking it was a 91 or 92 xj. I never upgraded the axle except for 4.56 gear set. It should of had a truss and inner c gussets.
Friend do you have Instagram?
No I do not
Man you should consider opening an account to see more about your ranger truck!!!
