Be great if there did a DLC that adds the the hole Tokyo highway network! Just like the old Tokyo extreme me racer days, a lot people would appreciate this guaranteed
It does, but at the same time once you've exhausted the main campaign it feels a lot barer on the single-player stuff than past Gran Turismo games do (besides Sport, which is all about the multiplayer aspect). Gran Turismo 4 has at least four times the events and races as this game does, not to mention that grinding credits takes far longer on this game than it has in any past GT game which is all to push microtransactions... in a game that costs more than a standard full-priced game. The fact you can't even sell your own cars is the dumbest thing Polyphony has done, never mind that they're trying to establish it as a 'car collector' game, you're often going to get given duplicate cars. Not being able to do anything with said duplicate is ridiculous. This is all coming from a die-hard Gran Turismo fan, but after the first honeymoon phase and being amazed at its impressive gameplay, graphics, and physics, after seeing everything the game has to offer, there is a lot that's changed for the worse in my opinion. Once I cleared all of the singleplayer campaign I rapidly lost interest in playing this game very often, particularly when you have some missions that are full-on endurance races where you win about as many credits from a shorter series of sprint races in the time it takes you to win those endurance races.
@@dekoldrick you can grind a race 100 times, but you'll get the reward car only once. You will get double ones though in various ways. You can only delete them from garage, no money involved

Takes about 6 minutes. Made couple of million in few hours :)
If I had a playstation and a steering wheel, I would play this immediately. This expressway track is... I don't know, something about it just so mesmerizing
In GT5 you could create random tracks, when I didn't opt for to much elevation (creating jumps) it gave me some nice country road circuits. Combined with the several layouts of the Tokyo tracks and the special stage oval these tracks fixed that open world/public road/casual drive feeling for me. In GT sport I sometimes found myself turning around on the Tokyo track and driving in reverse so I can drive on the "right" side of the road and get more immersed. I started drifting all the roadcars around the different Tokyo layouts in GT sport, some of the replay angles look absolutely sick, I should upload some of it idk if it's that interesting though.
Its better with the controller , The wheel is at times tough. In the beginning it was fun, but as you move on to top tier cars and races the controller offers a certain feedback and finesse that is found between the relationship of you hand/wheel motion and foot/pedal motion , as a console gamer the feedback and responsiveness from the car is felt better in the controller.

@@ericcarino4855 While I definitely agree MC2 laid the groundwork for everything to come after it, I disagree that MC3 is trash. As someone who grew up playing MC3 and MCLA those games were both great, but besides customization and side content MC2 had great soundtrack all the way through, a story that wasn't deep at all but kept you wanting to play, and races that required you to actually think instead of slightly turning to the left or right. After playing MC2 on PC last year for the first time despite it not being as feature rich as it's sequels I enjoy it's core gameplay much more than MC3 for many of the previously stated reasons. Looking back on MC3 it feels like the story, or lack of one, was ahead of it's time, in a bad way. It reminds me of games where the story spread apart and unsatisfying even when you get to it. One I think I found out about the carbon “paint” is that it’s fully mimics if the car was actually made out of carbon, unfortunately doesn’t give you any of the weight benefits.
